Charge the Battery
Followtheseinstructionstochargeyourphone’sbatteryusingeithertheincludedACadapterorvia
aUSBconnectiononyourcomputer.
Important:UseonlytheadapterandtheUSBcablethatcamewithyourphonetochargethe
battery.Whenthebatterypoweristoolow,makesuretousethepoweradaptertocharge,notthe
USBcableconnectionwithyourcomputer.
Notes:
nIfthebatteryhasbeendischargedforseveraldays,youmayneedtochargeHTC10forseveral
minutesbeforepoweringiton.
nAsasafetyprecaution,thebatterymaystopchargingtoavoidoverheating.
nWhenyou’reusingtheInternetandchargingthebattery,yourphonemaybecomewarmer.This
isnormal.
nToconserveenergy,unplugthepoweradapterfromtheelectricaloutletafteryoufinish
charging.
Charge Using the AC Adapter
1. PlugoneendoftheUSBcableintotheACadapter.
2. PlugtheotherendoftheUSBcableintotheCharger/AccessoryJackonthebottompanelof
yourphone.
3. PlugtheotherendoftheUSBcableintotheACadapter.
4. PlugtheACadapterintoanelectricaloutlet.
Theindicatorlightilluminateswhenchargingstarts.Thelightturnsgreenwhenthebatteryis
fullycharged.Fullychargingabatterymaytakeuptothreehours.
5. Aftercharging,disconnectthephonefromthecharger.
lUnplugtheACadapterfromtheoutlet,andremovetheUSBcablefromthephone.
