SAFETY
Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with all controls before operating.
Do not operate this unit when tired, ill, or under the inuence of drugs or medication.
Inspect the unit before use for loose or broken parts. Check for fuel leaks.
Do not operate with loose or damaged parts.
Carefully inspect the area before starting. Remove all debris such as rocks, glass, wire etc.
Keep clothing buttoned, and shirts tucked in. Do not wear jewelry such as
bracelets, necklaces, or neck chains.
Keep all bystanders away from the unit while operating. Do not place hands
or face in the direct path of the air blast from the unit.
Store gasoline only in containers designed and approved for storage of such material.
Do not smoke. Eliminate all ignition sources before refueling.
Always stop the engine and allow it to cool before lling the fuel tank. Never remove the
fuel cap or add fuel while the engine is hot. Never operate the unit without the fuel cap.
Loosen the cap slowly to relieve any pressure in the tank.
Add fuel in a clean well-ventilated outdoor area where there are no sparks or ames.
Wipe up spilled fuel and wipe unit dry before operating. Move the unit at least
30 feet (9.1 m) from the refueling area before starting.
Never start or run the unit inside a closed room or building.
Breathing exhaust fumes can kill. Operate this unit only in a well-ventilated outdoor area.
To avoid static electricity or shock, do not wear rubber gloves or any other
insulated gloves while operating this unit.
Do not set or leave the unit operating on a hard surface.
Immediately pick up unit after starting and carry.
Always hold the unit with a rm grip while operating.
Do not operate from an unstable surface such as a ladder, tree,
rooftop or steep slope. Always keep proper footing and balance.
Do not touch the engine or mufer. These parts get extremely hot from
operation. When turned off they remain hot for a short time.

CHEMICAL
To ll with chemical, remove the ller cap. Make sure the chemical valve is in the “off” position.
Carefully pour chemi-cal to the bottom of the ller neck. Replace ller cap and tighten.
Never remove the chemical flller cap while the unit is operating. The chemical on/off
valve should always be turned off when not fogging.
Slowly remove fuel tank cap and ll tank to the bottom of the neck
with clean, fresh regular unleaded gasoline.
Do not mix gas and oil! Do not attempt to refuel when engine is hot!
Replace ller cap and wipe up any spilled fuel.
This unit has been serviced with oil at the factory. No servicing of oil is needed at this time.
Refer to maintenance for oil changing instructions.

STARTING
Place the unit on rm, level ground. Set the ignition switch to the “I” position (fully
back). Prime the unit with fuel by depressing the primer bulb located at bottom
of the carburetor approximately 10X. Set the choke lever to the “UP” (closed)
position. Grasp the start handle. Use slow pulls on the starter rope. Do not jerk
or pull the rope too quickly. When unit starts, keep grasp of the starter handle
until fully retracted. Slowly move the choke lever to the down (open) position.

Keep the unit in a clean condition
Remove chemical after use, and store in it’s original container.
Change oil after the rst 10 hours of operation. Remove oil ller and drain plug.
Tilt the unit on it’s side and drain old oil into a container.
Rell the crankcase with 2.7 uid ounces (80 ml) of SAE 10W30 SF or higher
grade oil. Replace ll-drain plug, making sure the o ring is in place.
If unit is to be put away, drain gasoline and run unit dry before storing.

it is free from problems in materials and workmanship for the period of 1 year from the original date of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to damage to the product resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, alteration,
modication, tampering, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product. This warranty does not cover
normal wear and tear of o-rings or seals. If the product or any part of it should malfunction within the warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY
Allow the unit to warm for a short period, and increase the throttle. At full throttle
set the throttle lock by pushing forward the locking lever with the thumb. Turn
the chemical valve “on”. You will see liquid ow from the tank to the valve. The
droplets are sheared from the nozzle and at the edge of the nozzle extension.
The droplets are very small and spread over the large outlet, so very little visible
fog is produced. When the area has been treated, shut the chemical valve off. Slow the unit
to the slow idle position and turn off with the ignition switch by pushing the switch forward.
