Swedish medical device company. The Quality
Management System is in compliance with US
21 CFR part 820.
The product is CE marked in accordance with EU
Direcve 93/42/EEC (MDD) and/or EU Regula-
on 2017/745 (MDR), as class I medical device.
The CE mark is on the product.
This sling has been tested in accordance with
ISO 10535.

a) Service manual
Service manual was created for technicians
involved in servicing of Diana II Comfort 4MSB
mobile li. Safe performance of mobile li ser-
vice procedures requires experience, technical
skills and general knowledge of safety rules.
This manual uses warnings and cauons to pay
special aenon to service procedures.
Warning – this informaon tells us
about the possibility of safety risk of
technician and user.
Cauon – this informaon tells us about
acons that can cause potenal damage
of the li.
b) Diana II Comfort 4MSB installaon and
operang
For installaon and operaon of the li, see the
user manual.
c) Service of Diana II Comfort 4MSB
The service can be only made by Human Care’s
authorized service team or authorized units by
Human Care.
Human Care shall bear no responsibility for the
consequences of repairs or modicaons that
have been done by unauthorized personnel and
for the use of non-original replacement parts
dedicated by Human Care for mobile lis.
d) Service documentaon
Service documentaon and service repair do-
cument are available on a website accessible for
authorized service.
e) Safety precauons
The mobile li design provides maximum of sa-
fety. Safety of the device are ensured by safety
standards IEC60601-1.
Read these cauons carefully before
start servicing!
Note - do not perform service repairs
and funconal tesng when the paent
is on the device.

Tools & Maintenance
The service manual contains informaon about
repairing, maintaining and idencaon of
mobile li. The li can be idened by using
the idencaon code which is placed on the
name plate.
Note – if the plug from baery charger
does not match a socket in your country,
you can use an adapter.
Tools
Standard set of tools is required for servicing of
the mobile li:
Allen key set Ordinary set of various keys
Flat screwdriver
Hammer Volt meter

Device maintaining
All movable joints must be lubricated every six
months or when experiencing squeaks or other
noise. These nodes are:
• axle transport wheels,
• axle actuator mounng,
• jib arm bearing sleeve.
We recommend using any available penetrang
lubricants.
Report all loose connecons that are supposed
to be xed to the manufacturer’s authorized
service agent and stop using the product unl
the problem is resolved.
This device is equipped with electric actuator
which allows to adjust the height of the jib
arm. In order to ensure proper performance of
the actuators check the actuators for unusual
sounds every 3 months. These unusual sounds
contain rales, squeaks, creaks. Any perceived
performance deciency must be reported to
Human Care technical service immediately cea-
sing device operaon unl remove their causes.
Not less frequently than every 1 years and aer
each failure/repair of actuator technical service
must check the li for electric safety.
The minimal range of the review should include:
• check if there were no mechanical wiring
damages of the device,
• check if there were no mechanical damages
of the controller and the actuators.
See checklist in user manual.
Basic periodic review
One year aer producon date or every 8000
cycles of using the li, the indicator lamp light
up.
If this LED is on, operator must check condion
of the li (cables connecons, looseness on the
frame etc.).
Press and hold “up” and “down” buon for 5
sec., to turn o the light aer review.

Troubleshoong
Symptom Possible cause - soluon

Troubleshoong & Solving
Diagnose the mobile li
In case of problems with height adjustment,
please complete following steps:
Step 1:
• Check the baery level on hand control. If
any led is lighng, please check baery with
voltmeter,
• If the baery is empty, please charge it,
• If aer a few hours the baery is sll empty,
please check if the charger is working
correctly by using the voltmeter. If charger
is ok, you have to replace the baery for a
new one.
Step 2:
If the baery level is correct, check that the
wires are connected properly to the control box
in the boom part of the device.

Step 3:
If everything looks good so far but device sll
doesn’t work, for further diagnose, spare parts
will be necessary (hand control, control box and
actuator).
• At rst, replace the hand control for a new
one (or switch with another device if it’s
possible) and check,
• Next, prepare a new control box and connect
it with slots from device,
• Now test what is wrong, control box, remote
or actuator.
Note – in case of situaon that one of
actuators is not working, make sure that
problem is with actuator, by swapping
the wires 1 and 2 for actuators in the
control box and use the remote control
to test (a working actuator means a
faulty controller).
Step 4:
To remove the control box, just loosen two
main screws and li up whole holder with
control box.

Cauon - Following procedures require turn
down device on aside. To protect it from any
damage or scratches we strongly recommend to
prepare some kind of protecon (card boards,
sponges, etc.) on the oor.
Step 1:
Take out blockade from plug with small
screwdriver and take out the plug.

Step 2:
Use a at screwdriver to remove the star lock
cap and circlips from the upper rod holding the
actuator (from only one side of the pin) and
remove the pin. Do the same operaon for
second connecon actuator with frame.
Step 3:
Remove old and install the new actuator in the
reverse order to dismounng, carefully ghten
the gland.

Replace boom actuator
Cauon - Following procedures require
turn down device on aside. To protect
it from any damage or scratches we
strongly recommend to prepare some

control try to spread legs and check with
actuator does not work.

Step 3:
Remove only two screws from failure actuator’s
side (two top screws in that occasion), pull
up actuator and remove boom pins holding
actuator.
Step 4:

Step 5:
Remove old and install the new actuator in the

size 19”. To replace front wheels, use an allen
key and socked wrench size 17”.

Underhåll av enhet
Alla rörliga leder måste smörjas var sjäe må-
nad eller när de avger gnissel eller annat ljud.
Dessa noder är:
• axel för transporthjul
• axel för ställdonsfäste
• lagerhylsa motviktsarm
Vi rekommenderar a du använder e llgäng-
ligt penetrerande smörjmedel.
Rapportera alla lösa delar som skall vara xe-
rade ll llverkares utsedda serviceagent och
använd ej produkten lls problemet är åtgärdat.
Denna enhet är utrustad med elektriska ställ-
don som gör det möjligt a justera höjden på
motviktsarmen. För a säkerställa a ställdonen
fungerar korrekt ska du kontrollera ställdonen
var tredje månad för a se om det förekommer
ovanliga ljud. Ovanliga ljud kan vara skrammel,
gnissel och knarrande. Alla upplevda prestanda-
brister ska rapporteras ll Human Cares teknis-
ka service och du ska omedelbart sluta använda
enheten ll dess a orsakerna åtgärdats.
Som minst varje år och eer fel i/reparaon
av ställdonet måste teknisk service kontrollera
lyen och se över elsäkerheten.
Översynen ska som minst omfaa:
• kontroll av a det inte nns några mekaniska
kabelskador på enheten
• kontroll av a det inte nns några mekanis-
ka skador på styrenheten och ställdonen

Återkommande grundgenomgång
E år eer llverkningsdatum eller eer 8 000
cyklers användning av lyen tänds indikator-
lampan.
Om denna LED-lampa lyser ska operatören
kontrollera lyens skick (kabelanslutningar,
glapp i ramen etc.).
Tryck och håll ned ”upp”- och ”ner”-knappen i 5
sek. för a stänga av lampan eer kontroll.

Symptom Möjlig orsak – lösning
Enheten fungerar inte korrekt. Ställ diagnos på mobillyen.
Höjdjusteringen fungerar inte. Byt ut huvudställdonet.
Ljud avges när bredden mellan benen justeras. Smörj benens justeringsmekanism.
Problem med a ya enheten. Kontrollera/byt ut hjulen.
Felsökning och lösning
Felsökning på mobillyen
Vid problem med höjdjustering ska du genom-
föra följande steg:
Steg 1:
• Kontrollera baerinivån på handkontrollen.
Om någon LED-lampa lyser ska du kontroll-
era baeriet med voltmätare
• Om baeriet är tomt ska du ladda det
• Om baeriet eer några mmar forarande
är tomt ska du kontrollera om laddaren fung-
erar korrekt genom a använda voltmätaren.
Om laddaren fungerar måste du byta ut
baeriet mot e ny.
Steg 2:
Om baerinivån är korrekt ska du kontrollera
a kablarna är ordentligt anslutna ll styrboxen
i den nedre delen av enheten.

Steg 3:
Om allt ser bra ut så långt, men enheten
forarande inte fungerar, krävs reservdelar
för fortsa diagnos (handkontroll, styrbox och
ställdon).
• Först byter du ut handkontrollen mot en ny
(eller byter med en annan enhet om så är
möjligt) och kontrollerar
• Däreer förbereder du en ny styrbox och
ansluter den med uag från enheten
• Testa sedan vad som är fel: styrbox, ärrkon-
troll eller ställdon.
Obs! – i en situaon där e av ställdonen
inte fungerar ska du kontrollera om pro-
blemet nns i ställdonet genom a byta
ut kabel 1 och 2 för ställdonen i styrbox-
en och använda ärrkontrollen för a
testa (om ställdonet fungerar innebär det
a det är fel på styrenheten).
Steg 4:
Du tar bort styrboxen genom a lossa de två
huvudskruvarna och lyer upp hela hållaren
med styrboxen.
