purchasing the »signolux MV-1«. You
have chosen a modern and reliable
system. Kindly read the instruction
manual carefully in order to use the
device properly and to familiarise
yourself with all the possibilities of the
system.

Functioning principle
The »signolux MV-1« reacts to the
AUX output signal of various signolux
receivers and actutates the included
vibrating pad by forwarding the alert
and powering the vibrating pad when
it is connected to the VIB output of the
MV-1.
For reasons of safety, the MV-1 con-
tains a rechargeable battery which is
charged when the MV-1 is connected
to a mains power outlet.
In the occurrence of a power black-
out, the MV-1 acts as a backup and
can actutate the vibrating pad for
1500 vibration periods of 30 seconds
each.
Setup
Connect the power supply unit to the
7.5 V power socket at the rear of the
MV-1 and plug it into a mains power
outlet.
Connect the AUX output of the signo-
lux receiver (for example the Vibrating
Pager) to the AUX socket of the MV-1
by means of the AUX connection lead.
Plug the jack of the vibrating pad into
the MV-1’s VIB socket.
The MV-1 is now ready for use.
In case the internal battery is depleted,
please note that it needs about 5 hours
of charging time until it reaches full
capacity. The basic functionality of the
MV-1 is not affected by the recharging.
Compatible signolux receivers
The following signolux receivers and
other Humantechnik devices feature
an AUX output socket and can there-
fore be used with the MV-1 and the
battery-less vibrating pad:
- signolux Vibrating Pager
- signolux Standard receiver
- signolux alarm clock
- iBell2 Call detector for mobile
phones
Please note: The signolux »Receiver
S« is capable of powering the batte-
ry-less vibrating pad without needing
the MV-1.

Warranty
The »signolux MV-1« is a very reliable
product. Should a malfunction occur
despite the unit having been set up
and operated correctly, please con-
tact your dealer or the manufacturer
directly.
This warranty covers the repair of the
product and returning it to you free of
charge. It is recommended that you
send in the product in its original
packaging, so keep the packaging
until the end of the warranty period.
The warranty does not apply to da-
mage caused by incorrect handling
or attempts to repair the unit by unau-
thorised persons (destruction of the
seal on the unit).
Repairs will only be carried out under
warranty if the completed warranty
card is returned accompanied by
a copy of the dealer’s invoice/till re-
ceipt.
Always specify the product serial
number in any event.
Maintenance and care
The components of the »signolux MV-1«
do not require any maintenance. If
they become dirty, simply wipe them
clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Never use spirits, thinners or other or-
ganic solvents.
Do not expose them to full sunlight.
In addition, they must be protected
against excessive heat, moisture and
severe mechanical shocks.
Note: This product is not protected
against splash water. Do not place
any containers filled with water, such
as flower vases, or anything with an
open flame, such as a lit candle, abo-
ve or near the product.

Principe de fonctionnement
Le « Signolux MV-1» reçoit le signal
provenant de la sortie AUX des différents
types de récepteurs «Signolux» et
active le coussin vibrant connecté à
la sortie VIB.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, le MV-1
contient une pile rechargeable. En
cas de panne, la pile du MV-1 agit
comme source de secours jusqu’à
1500 vibrations de 30 secondes
chacune.
Installation
Brancher le bloc d’alimentation sur la
prise 7,5 V à l’arrière du MV-1 et en-
suite brancher l’adaptateur dans une
prise électrique.
Brancher la sortie AUX du
récepteur «Signolux» (ex. : paget-
te vibrante) à l’entrée aux MV-1 en
utilisant le câble de branchement
AUX. Brancher le coussin vibrant à la
sortie VIB du MV-1.
Le MV-1 est prêt à être utilisé.
La recharge de la pile prend 5 heures
pour atteindre sa pleine charge. Le
fonctionnement du MV-1 n’est pas
affecté par la recharge de la pile.
Compatibilité des récepteurs
«Signolux»
Les récepteurs «Signolux» suivants
et les autres appareils Humantechnik
qui utilise la sortie AUX peuvent être
utilisés avec le MV-1 et le coussin
vibrant sans pile :
- Pagette vibrante «Signolux»
- Récepteur visuel «Signolux»
- Réveille-matin «Signolux»
- Détecteur pour cellulaire iBell

Prenez note : Le récepteur visuel
«Signolux» peut être utilisé avec
le coussin vibrant sans pile direc-
tement (sans le MV-1). Le coussin
vibrant sans pile peut être branché
directement au récepteur visuel
«Signolux», dans ce cas le MV-1
n’est pas nécessaire.

Garantie
Les appareils sont très fiables. Si en
dépit d’un montage et d’un emploi
corrects, des dysfonctionnements
apparaissaient, veuillez contacter
votre vendeur spécialisé ou vous ad-
resser directement au fabricant.
La garantie comprend la réparation
gratuite y compris la réexpédition.
La seule condition est de retourner
les appareils dans leurs emballages
d’origine. Ne le jetez donc pas.
Cette garantie ne s’applique pas pour
des dommages occasionnés par une
mauvaise manipulation ou encore
des tentatives de réparation par des
personnes non autorisées (endom-
magement du sceau de l’appareil).
Les réparations sous garantie ne sont
exécutées qu’après réception du
coupon de garantie dûment rempli ou
d’une copie de la facture ou du ticket
de caisse du revendeur.
Le numéro de l’appareil doit être
indiqué dans tous les cas.
Maintenance et entretien
Les appareils sont exempts de main-
tenance. S’ils sont sales, nettoyez
les appareils avec un chiffon doux et
légèrement humide.
N’utilisez jamais d’alcool, de diluant
ni d´autres solvants organiques.
Les appareils ne doivent pas être
exposés au soleil. En outre, ils doi-
vent être protégés contre la chaleur
excessive, l‘humidité et les chocs
mécaniques importants.
Important:
Les appareils ne sont pas protégés
contre l’eau. Ne pas poser d’objet
rempli d’un liquide, par exemple un
vase, près de l’appareil. De même,
ne pas poser près de l’appareil une
source de combustion par exemple
une bougie allumée.
