EP-636 isalow-pricedIPtelephonedevelopedbyHyberToneCompanyhimself.Itiscompatible
withH.323 V4and SIPV2, possessingsinglefileofEnglishlettersand singlefileofdigitalLCD
displayerandachievingfulldulplexhands-freecall.Whenit isdisposedintoH.323, EP-636 can
cooperatewithGK andGWofmostH.323. ItalsohasperfectH.450 protocoltocompleteall
telecomvalue-addedservicessuchascall transfer,call forward,call waiting,etc.. Cooperating
withsoftexchangesystem,it cantotallyreplace traditionalPBXorKEYLINEPHONE.Itcan
alsobeusedasLANphoneorhot-linephone.Whenit isdisposedintoSIP,EP-636 cancooperate
withmostSIPsystem.Besideshavingpopularg.723 and g.729, it canuselow-pricedGSMvoice
compressionalgorithms.Thismodelisthefirst-selectedonefortelecomoperatorsandthemain
typeexportedbyHyberToneCompany.

otherendoftheACPowerAdaptortoawall outlet.Makesurethatthewall outletvoltage
matchesthespecifiedinputvoltageontheAdaptor. IncorrectACVoltagesupplymaydamage

3.9Call Transfer
If AandBareintheprocess ofacall,AcantransferA-Bcall toB-Ccall.Therearetwokindsof
transfer, whichareattendedtransferandunattendedtransfer.
A. UnattendedTransfer
Whenacall isinprocessandyouagreewithhim/hertohaveacall transfer,press “TRANSFER”,
and whenyouheardialtone,dialanotherphonenumber.Whenyouhearringtone,justhungup
yourphonewithoutaconversationwiththethirdparty.Thedetailedstepsaredescribedas
follows:
1)You andtheotherpartyareintheprocess ofacall.Afterannouncing transfertoB,press
“TRANSFER”.
2)Whenyouheardialtone, dialthethirdparty’sphonenumber

B.AttendedTransfer
Whenacall isinprocessandyouagreewithhim/hertohaveacall transfer,press “TRANSFER”,

agrees, hangupyourphone.
3.10 Voice Mail
In idlestate, ifthereisthefunctionofvoicemail,press “OK”tolistento yourvoicemailmessages.

A.Tolistentoyourvoicemail messages
If youhavenewvoice messages,alittleenvelop will appearinyourphone’sLCD.Pickupthe
handsetorpress “MONITOR”,thenpress “OK”,and thenfollowtheguideofthephonetolisten

If youcall theotherpartywithoutananswer,press “OK”totransferthecall intothevoice
