TURNING THE TONOMETER ON AND LOADING THE PROBE

Selectbuontoaccessthemenu.PressNavigaon
buonsandselectSETTINGbypressingtheSelect
buon.TogglethesengsbyNavigaonbuonsand
selectaspeciesengbypressingSelectbuon.To
measurereturntoMEASUREbynavigaonbuons.
MEASUREMENT
1.Bringthetonometernearthepaent’seye.(It’snotnecessarytolookatthedisplayduringthemeasurement
 sincethedevicegivessoundsignalsabouterrorsetc.)
Avoid excessive restraining, as it may alter the IOP. Paent’s head should be held as lightly as possible;
be careful not to put pressure on the neck or the eye ball. If a collar is worn; make sure it is not too ght
or remove it for the measurement.

Indicates a correct single measurement.
DOUBLE BEEP
Indicates an incorrect single measurement. (See error messages from full manual).
LONG BEEP
Indicates that six succesful measurements are done and IOP result is available at the display.

2. Keep the probe horizontal and poinng perpendicularly to the center of the cornea.Thedistance
 fromthepoftheprobetothepaent´scorneashouldbe4 - 8 mm (5/32 - 5/16 inch).Theprobe 
 baselightmustbegreen(indicangcorrectmeasuringposion).
3. Press the Measure buon to measure IOP. Probewillcontacttheeyeduring
 measurements:Pressandholdthebuontocollect6measurementsinarow
 ORpressthebuonbriey6mestocollect1measurementattheme.

PARTS OF THE TONOMETER
•Filltheprobebasecleaningcontainerorothercleancontainer
 with70-100%isopropylalcohol.
•Turnthepowero.
•Unscrewtheprobebasecollarandremovetheprobebaseby
 lngthetonometerdownwards.
•Inserttheprobebaseintotheprobebasecleaningcontainer
 orothercleancontainerlledwith70-100%isopropylalcohol.
•Letsoakfor5-30minutes.
•Removetheprobebasefromalcohol.
•Drytheprobebasebyblowingcleancannedorcompressedair
 intotheholeintheprobebase.Thiswilladdionallyremove
 possibleresidualdirt.
•Inserttheprobebaseintothetonometer.
•Screwthecollarin,tolocktheprobebase.
Pleaserefertotheinstruconmanualformoredetailedinstrucons
ofchangingandcleaningtheprobebase.
CHANGE/CLEAN THE PROBE BASE REGULARLY TO AVOID
UNNECESSARY SERVICE.

Replacetheprobebaseevery12months.Cleantheprobebaseevery6months.Cleanorreplacetheprobe
baseiftheerrormessageCleanChangeisdisplayed.Makesurethattheprobebaseiscompletelydry
beforeusingit.
