DANGER
Electrical
current
from
power,
telephone,
and
communication
cables
is
hazardous.
To
avoid
a
shock
hazard:

Do
not
connect
or
disconnect
any
cables
or
perform
installation,
maintenance,
or
reconfiguration
of
this
product
during
an
electrical
storm.

Connect
all
power
cords
to
a
properly
wired
and
grounded
electrical
outlet.

Connect
to
properly
wired
outlets
any
equipment
that
will
be
attached
to
this
product.

When
possible,
use
one
hand
only
to
connect

disconnect
signal

Introduction
The
IBM
®
BladeCenter
™
JS20
Type
8842,
also
known
as
the
blade
server,
is
based
on
the
IBM
POWER
™
architecture
technologies.
Your
blade-model
server
is
one
of
up
to
14
blade
servers
that
can
be
installed
in
the
IBM
Eserver
®
BladeCenter
™
Type
8677
(the
BladeCenter
unit).
This
high-performance
blade
server
is
well-suited
for
networking
environments
that
require
outstanding
microprocessor
performance,
efficient
memory
management,
flexibility,
and
reliable
data
storage.
