!Initial setup IDEAL AS10
(device pairing):
1. Make sure your cell phone is connected to your
home Wi-Fi network.
2. Download the free ”IDEAL AIR PRO” app.
3. Create an account and sign in.
4. Connect the USB power cable to the IDEAL
AS10. You can connect the USB cable to any
USB or power adaptor
or USB port on your
laptop.
6. Wait 10 seconds until the device starts to
glow green or light green.
7. On the mobile application launcher screen
(you must be logged in), press the ”plus”
button to add a new device.
8. Follow the instructions in the app.

!How to enter pairing mode
IDEAL AS10 is equipped with a touch-
sensitive surface on top of the housing. It
enters pairing mode by placing the palm of
your hand on top for 5 seconds. The station
starts to glow white.

!Once you have set up your IDEAL AS10 – start measuring.
Place the device in the location you want to monitor. The
device requires power through a USB cable, plug it into a
USB-powered power adaptor, or an energy bank or laptop
USB port etc.
!This unit is designed for continuous measurement
of indoor air quality.

Air quality values are available in the IDEAL system
through your individual account:
1. In the mobile app ”IDEAL AIR PRO” and
2. on the web site ideal.de/idealair
After logging in (mobile application and / or web site) you will
find measurement parameters: PM 10, PM 2.5, VOC (volatile
organic compounds), temperature, humidity and atmospheric
pressure.
IDEAL AS10 itself shows the measured air quality levels
by changing the colour:
• Green – good air quality
• Yellow – moderate air quality
• Red – poor air quality
The transition between the dierent levels (green, yellow,
red) occurs by colour gradation (intermediate colour shades
which signifies a decrease or increase in the air quality factor.
!You can set the illumination time and the brightness
in the settings of the app.

The air quality data in the app and/or on the
website refer to the EU Air Quality Index (AQI),
which is calculated from PM10 and PM2.5
measurements, among others.

EU Air quality directive 2008/50/EG:
The EU limits for PM10 are:
• 24-hour mean: 50 μg/m3
(max. 35 exceedances per year)
• Annual mean 40 μg/m3
The EU limit for PM2.5 is:
• Annual mean: 25 μg/m3
WHO 2005 Air quality guidelines:
The WHO limits for PM10 are:
• 24-hour mean: 50 μg/m3
• Annual mean 20 μg/m3
The WHO limits for PM2.5 are:
• 24-hour mean: 25 μg/m3
• Annual mean: 10 μg/m3
!The ”IDEAL AIR PRO” app can send push notifications
if the EU limits are exceeded.

!Safe usage – important information:
Please read this user manual and the safety instructions
carefully before installing IDEAL AS10.
This device is intended for indoor use only.
The appliance is not intended for use outdoors.
The device should be protected from water.
Avoid contact with dust, flammable gases, vapours, acids
and corrosive liquids and solvents.
Unauthorised dismantling or repair of the device is
forbidden. Repairs may only be carried out by qualified
and trained personnel.
