1.1 Overview

The IVS-200-ULT2 fanless embedded system is powered by Intel® Corei5-5350U
processor or Intel® Celeron® processor 3755U. It is designed for vehicle applications that
require minimum installation space.
The IVS-200-ULT2 accepts a wide range of DC power input (9 V–36 V), allowing it to be
powered anywhere. Wi-Fi and WWAN capabilities plus four RJ-45 Ethernet connectors
ensure smooth connection of the system to an external LAN. The display interface options
include VGA and HDMI with two audio jacks.
Two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, and four D-sub
reserved ports provide rich I/O options for various applications. The IVS-200-ULT2
embedded subsystems are all capable of supporting one 2.5” SATA 6Gb/s solid-state
drive (SSD) or an mSATA module.

1.4 Model Variations
There are two models in the IVS-200-ULT2 embedded system series. The two models are
all preinstalled with 4 GB of DDR3 memory. The model variations are listed in 654Table 1-1
below.

The IVS-200-ULT2 RoHS compliant, fanless embedded system features industrial grade
components that offer longer operating life, high shock/vibration resistance and endurance
over a wide temperature range. The IVS-200-ULT2 combines these features in an
aluminum enclosure, offering system integrators and developers the best selection of
robust and high performance computing system platforms for vehicle applications.

The IVS-200-ULT2 front panel contains:

The rear panel of the IVS-200-ULT2 provides access to the following external I/O
connectors.

1.5.3 Bottom Surface
WARNING:
Never remove the bottom access panel from the chassis while power is
still being fed into the system. Before removing the bottom access
panel, make sure the system has been turned off and all power
connectors unplugged.
The bottom surface of the IVS-200-ULT2 contains four foot pads which can be removed to
install two side mounting brackets. The surface also has four retention screw holes for the
VESA MIS-D 100 wall-mount kit.
