Introduction
By using this Ikea bookshelf, it will help one to use space more efficiently, as well as, organize
items that might be misplaced or taking up additional space. Somethings one can find on a bookshelf
vary, from books to sculptures, to pictures. With a bookshelf being used in multiple ways, for multiples
things, it is important to assemble it correctly by following the instructions. Below I have explained
thoroughly step by step, on how to build a reliable and study bookshelf. Along with steps, there a
picture of parts and the quantity you should have upon opening the box. For heavier items, the safest
option is to secure the bookshelf to a wall. There are also warning labels, to keep you safe from injuries
and damaging your bookshelf.

Materials: Phillips Screwdriver, 10x Screw118331
STEP 1: Please READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before starting. Try to assemble the bookshelf in the general
area you want it to be placed.
STEP 2: On a soft surface, place Right side and Left side wood pieces with predrilled holes facing
upward. (See Figure 1)
STEP 3: Using a Philips head screwdriver, screw in FIVE “118331” screws into the specified predrilled
holes on the RIGHT-SIDE piece (See Figure 1)
STEP 4: Using a Philips Head Screwdriver, screw in FIVE “118331” screws into the specified predrilled
holes on the LEFT-SIDE piece. (See Figure 1)
STEP 5: With a friend, place the pieces accordingly to Figure 1,
Step 6: Using a Hammer place the Floor Risers “102372”in the bottom slots of the Right Side, shown on
Figure 2.
Step 7: Using a Hammer place the Floor Risers “102372”in the bottom slots of the Left Side, shown on
Figure 2.

CONCLUSION
Overall, instructions are supposed to be clear and concise. When a consumer buys a product
and has to assemble it, they want to put it together as quick as possible. This is where the producer
wants to help the consumer, by creating an assembly manual that will easily guide them through the
process. This helps customers to return to buy more products if they enjoyed the process. In this case,
instructions were given to build a bookshelf. A bookshelf can be looked at as something easy or not
valued, but if you take a closer look it can be holding stuff of value that needs a sturdy base. So as long
as products are being built correctly, they will produce the best outcome.
