Keep this manual carefully. Deliver the oper-
ation manual to the buyer if the appliance is
transferred to third parties.
Always follow the warnings to prevent person-
al injuries and damages to the appliance.
Manufacturer shall not be held responsible for
any damages that occurred when the instruc-
tions in the operation manual are not followed.
Explanations related with your safety are high-
lighted. Always follow the warnings to prevent
accidents and damages to the appliance.

1 Safety Notes
People with reduced mental, physical or tech-
nological capabilities (non-competent persons
including children) shall not use the appliance
unless they are supervised by a competent
person or directed by a responsible person.
Do not leave the appliance unattended. Use
the appliance very carefully if there children
who may not notice the risks or persons who
are not competent to use the appliance are
available in the vicinity.
Package materials:
- Do not use the materials for play. Choking
risk.
- Discard the packing material as per the in-
structions ( spare parts and discarding).
Hood is designed to draw the vapour arising
from the cooker and it is intended to be used
in the kitchen.
- Use the appliance indoors only.
- Appliance is not intended to be operated for
industrial purposes.
- Hood suitable for cooking with electric and
gas cookers only
- Any use other than the ones specied above
shall be considered as operation out of the
intended purpose and it is prohibited.
Points that shall specically be avoided:
- Operation of hood without metal oil lter.
Missing oil lter may cause intense oil de-
posits inside the hood and in the exhaust air
ducts.
- Sterilization by ames in the vicinity of the
hood. Oil deposits may catch re.
- Operation of hobs without the cookware (any
type of heaters: gas, electric etc.).

- Open ames may cause the hood to catch
re.
- Cleaning of the hood with disallowed
materials or equipment, e.g. a steam cleaner
( maintenance).
- Repair operations by unauthorized personnel
( Customer Services).
WARNING!
Risk of burning. Fire may occur in case of
improper operation of the hood.
- Follow the instructions on maintenance and clean-
ing completely ( 4.6 maintenance interval).
Mains points that shall be avoided:
- Cooking, frying and grilling with open ames
against risk of re.

Warranty and assurance rights shall be
void in case of intervention by unauthorized
personnel. ( warranty).
1.7 Faulty appliance
WARNING!
Electric shock. Operate the hood with
electrical current. Serious or lethal injuries
may occur in case of improper installation,
usage and operation. Always comply with
the safety warnings.
1.6 Power supply
CAUTION!
Do not install or operate the faulty hood.
Repair work shall be performed by specialists
authorized by the manufacturer
( Customer Services).

Package materials are recyclable. Save
raw materials and reduce your waste.
Bring the package materials back into the
cycling of materials. Your dealer shall take
your package when you return it ( 6.2
discarding).
Follow the safety warnings during installation
and mains connection ( safety warnings).
Please read the installation manual carefully
before the installation.
Always follow the warnings to prevent
personal injuries and damages to the
appliance.
Manufacturer shall not be held responsible
for any damages that occurred when the
instructions in the installation manual are not
followed.

General Information on the instal-
lation
WARNING!
Lethal risk in case of damage to supply pipes.
Damage to supply pipes (mains, gas and/or
water pipes) may occur while drilling. Take
information on the routing of the supply pipes
before drilling (e.g. with a device used for
searching metal and live pipes).

2.3.5 Preparations that shall
be performed for the
installation of the hood
- You may connect the exhaust air pipe to
the hood from any direction (gure M3). You
may screw the motor box here after installing
the hood body. To ensure that air outlet faces
forward, elbowed plate and the motor under it
shall be loosened, rotated and re-tightened.
Exhaust air operation:
Route the exhaust air duct with a diameter
of 150 mm to the wall passage prepared in
advance.
Air recirculation operation:
Active carbon lter box shall be positioned so
that the air is returned to kitchen area. Use
a round or straight air duct with a diameter
of 150 mm as built-in inside the moulding or
under a similar part.
Active carbon lter on the rear has a connec-
tion facility for a at duct with the dimensions
of 222 x 89 mm.

2.3.6 Installation of the hood 1. Create a cross-section on the operating
plate. The distance between the side of the
rear cooking area and the front side of the
hood shall be at least 20 mm (see g. M1 and
page 12).
2. Installation of hood body
Push the hood body inside the cross-section
carefully until it may be placed on the the
operating plate (g. M2a).
Using installation brackets, x the aligned,
vertical hood body on the built-in surface (g.
M2b).
Securing the motor box to hood body (g.
M3). Consider the air blowing direction of the
motor (see g. M3 and page 12).
Connect the air duct as it is prepared for
exhaust air and air circulation (see page 12).
Mains connection of electronic box with
motor/hood body.
Install connection cord with 3 different
clutches properly.
For air circulation operation where one
window folding switch is used, see 2.3.5
CAUTION!
Do not install or operate the faulty
hood. Repair work shall be per-
formed by specialists authorized by
the manufacturer ( Customer
Services).

2.3.7 Air recirculation ap In order to operate the hood in air recircu-
lation mode, air recirculation box shall be
installed so that drawn air passes through
the air recirculation box and returns back to
the kitchen area, e.g. by passing through the
moulding of a kitchen furniture.
Stainless steel front plate with drawer is
secured inside the box with magnets. Pull the
front plate with the drawer to install the carbon
lter pad and to replace it in the future.
Adjust the distance from the front plate to the
box between 0 and 20 mm during installa-
tion (for mouldings with different thickness).
Therefore, turn the magnets outwards and
inwards.

Use the hood with the remote control only.
Hood cover is opened by pressing key no.
2 for 2 seconds. However, motor cannot be
operated in this way.
Opening of the hood cover may be stopped
by pressing + or - key for 2 seconds. Hood
cover is opened again when + key is pressed
for 2 seconds, and it is closed when - key is
pressed for 2 seconds.
Motor may only be operated if the hood cover
is opened and stationary.
Motor may be operated or stopped by press-
ing key no. 1 once. Motor starts in level 1.
Motor level may be increased or decreased
by pressing + or - key; or it may be stopped
by pressing - key at level 1.
Number of diodes illuminated indicates the
motor level set.
Adding to key no. 2 or no. 3 for +
and -

Additional Operation Switch
(Motor is turned off after 15 minutes)

pressing key no. 1 for 3 seconds.
Motor level may be changed by pressing key
no. 1 or no. 2.
Turning off of the additional operation switch
by pressing key no. 1 for 3 seconds.
Stopping the motor: Press key no. 1.
Hood cover may be used while the additional
operation switch is active.
Closing the hood cover: Press - key for 2
seconds.
In case of a power cut-off while the hood is
operating, hood remains in the off position
when the power is resumed and the hood
cover retains its position. Now, the hood may
be operated again as described above.

4 Maintenance
4.1 General Maintenance Instruc-
tions
CAUTION!
Damaging of the hood body in case of
improper cleaning. Discolouration may occur
on the surfaces. Steam cleaners shall not be
used for cleaning the hood body. Do not use
aggressive cleaning agents such as vinegar
based cleaning agents, scrubbing agents,
sanding granules etc. or sharp objects.
NOTE!
Have the hood maintained regularly to en-
sure that it retains its safety, operation and
power.
Clean the hood right after installation and then
when it gets dirty.
CAUTION!
Foil remains on the stainless steel surface
may cause stains. Hood surface shall be
cleaned carefully right after installation (
description below).
Consider the general cleaning and mainte-
nance warnings below (applies to the painted
glass surfaces, too):
- Take off your rings, watches and jewellery
before starting the cleaning, otherwise paint-
ed surfaces may be scratched.
- Always clean the wide surfaces to prevent
local scrubbing.
- Do not apply excessive pressure on the ma-
terial, otherwise scratches and loss of gloss
may occur.
- Powder or harsh cleaning agents or wax
shall not be used. Their active agents may
penetrate to the material.
- Be careful while using sponges or clothes.
Scratches may occur due to remains.
4.2 Cleaning of the hood

maintenance

Special stainless steel agents are available
for the maintenance of stainless steel surfac-
es.
( description below). It provides ease of
maintenance by creating a protective layer
that reduce the nger stains.
Stainless Steel Surfaces
4.3. Cleaning of the metal oil lter.
NOTE!
For the maintenance of stainless steel sur-
faces, we recommend Silverline Product No.
PS 500 ( 6.1) stainless steel spray.
CAUTION!
Risk of re! An excessively greasy metal oil
lter may cause res. Thus, always follow the
warnings on maintenance and cleaning.
- Wipe the drips and stains of acidic liquids
(e.g. fruit acids) immediately with a cloth
and rub until it is dried.
- Hot, heavy and sharp objects shall not
passed over the paint surface or shall not be
pushed towards it.
CAUTION!
Use of aggressive cleaning agents or frequent
cleaning may damage the grid texture of the
metal oil lter. Only suitable cleaning agents
(e.g. dishwashing liquid) may be used for
cleaning.

- Open the cover to the maximum position.
Then, press the opened cover a little bit back-
wards. Thus, the safety lock shall be unlocked
and power supply to the hood is cut off. Both
stainless steel oil lter is under the intake
area and they may be easily removed.
A small groove is clipped under these lters.
Here, oil that may possibly be dripping from
the lters is collected.
Oil lter can be washed in dishwashers
including the groove. You may also clean the
groove with sponge. Also, you may detach the
groove from its clips and clean, if required.
Placing of stainless steel oil lter
- Place the stainless steel oil lter to the
intake area so that its groove is seated while
the cover is open. Tilt the open cover to the
front and re-activate the safety lock.
