Dopo aver rimosso l’apparecchio dalla confezione, controllare
l’integrità della fornitura in base al disegno e l’eventuale presenza

Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, controllare che i dati tecnici
della tensione di rete riportati sui dati tecnici (5) di identificazione
corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica disponibile. I dati tecnici

Il presente apparecchio deve essere utilizzato unicamente allo
scopo per cui è stato progettato, ovvero come tostapane per uso
domestico. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo è considerato non conforme e
pertanto pericoloso.
Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini dagli 8
anni in su e da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali
o mentali o con mancanza di esperienza o conoscenza se a loro
è stata assicurata un’adeguata sorveglianza oppure se hanno
ricevuto istruzioni circa l’uso in sicurezza dell’apparecchio e
hanno compreso i pericoli correlati. I bambini non devono giocare
con l’apparecchio. Le operazioni di pulizia e di manutenzione non
devono essere effettuate da bambini senza sorveglianza.
Mantenere l’apparecchio e il suo cavo fuori dalla portata dei bambini
con meno di 8 anni.
La sicurezza elettrica di questo apparecchio è assicurata soltanto
quando lo stesso è correttamente collegato ad un efficace impianto
di messa a terra come previsto dalle vigenti norme di sicurezza
elettrica. E’ necessario verificare questo fondamentale requisito
di sicurezza e in caso di dubbio richiedere un controllo accurato
dell’impianto da parte di un tecnico competente.
NON utilizzare l’apparecchio con mani bagnate o piedi umidi o nudi.
NON tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso, per

Per sollevare l’apparecchio non inserire le mani all’interno della cella di
cottura, ma afferrarlo dalle pareti esterne (3) [Fig. B].
Disimballare l’apparecchio e rimuovere eventuali inserti o etichette adesive dal prodotto.
• Lavare i componenti smontabili: la pinza (1), il cassetto raccoglibriciole (6) a mano o in
lavastoviglie.
• In lavastoviglie, assicurarsi che la temperatura massima dell’acqua non superi i 55 °C.
• Asciugare con un panno asciutto.

Il selettore di potenza (8) prevede 2 posizioni:
ECO Per limitare il consumo energetico durante la cottura.
Per tostare pane e bruschette.
NORMAL USE Per accelerare il processo di cottura.
Per cuocere toast farciti.
MONTAGGIO
Ai primi utilizzi attendere qualche minuto prima di inserire i cibi,
l’apparecchio nuovo può emettere un po’ di fumo.
• Inserire la spina elettrica (4) nella presa di corrente.
NON introdurre mai mani, forchette o altri utensili nella sede di cottura (2),
anche ad apparecchio spento.
NON inserire nella pinza (1) alimenti avvolti in carta metallica.
• Dopo aver eseguito le operazioni di montaggio operare nel seuente modo:
• Premere l’impugnatura (9) per aprire la pinza (1) quindi inserire l’alimento.
• Inserire la pinza (1) nella sede di cottura (2) [Fig. C].
• Ruotare il selettore di potenza (8) sulla posizione desiderata.
• Ruotare il timer (7) per il tempo di cottura desiderato.
• Attendere il segnale acustico di fine cottura ed estrarre la pinza (1).
• Togliere la spina elettrica (4) dalla presa di corrente.
Attendere il completo raffreddamento dell’apparecchio e della pinza
(1) prima di procedere alla pulizia.
• Dopo aver eseguito l’operazione di utilizzo, procedere alla pulizia dell’apparecchio.
• Togliere la pinza (1) dalla sede di cottura (2).
• Togliere il casetto raccoglibriciole (6) [Fig. D].
• Lavare la pinza (1), il cassetto raccoglibriciole (6) a mano o in lavastoviglie.
• In lavastoviglie, assicurarsi che la temperatura massima dell’acqua non superi i 55 °C.

• Pulire le pareti del tostapane (3) con con una spugna umida e ben strizzata.
• Asciugare con un panno asciutto.
Se si verificasse uno dei problemi indicati, adottare la soluzione proposta:

Il toast non risulta abbastanza cotto. Ruotare nuovamente il timer (7) per un
tempo di cottura aggiuntivo.
Il tostapane emette fumo. Ai primi utilizzi attendere qualche minuto
prima di inserire i cibi.
Il cassetto raccoglibriciole (6) non si estrae. Togliere prima la pinza (1) e poi il
cassetto raccoglibriciole (6).
SMALTIMENTO
L’imballaggio del prodotto è composto da materiali riciclabili. Smaltirlo in conformità
alle norme di tutela ambientale.
Ai sensi della norma europea 2002/96/CE, l’apparecchio in disuso deve essere
smaltito in modo conforme. I materiali riciclabili contenuti nell’apparecchio vengono
recuperati, al fine di evitare il degrado ambientale.Per maggiori informazioni, rivolgersi
all’ente di smaltimento locale o al rivenditore dell’apparecchio.
Per le riparazioni o l’acquisto dei ricambi rivolgersi al servizio autorizzato di assistenza ai
clienti IMETEC contattando il Numero Verde sotto riportato o consultando il sito internet.

customer satisfaction in mind. This instruction manual has been drawn up in compliance
with the European Standard EN 62079.
Instructions and warnings for safe use
Before using this appliance, carefully read the
instructions and in particular the safety warnings,
and illustrative guide with the appliance for future
consultation. Should you pass the appliance on
to another user, make sure to also include this
documentation.

SAFETY WARNINGS
After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify
its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage
caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and
contact an authorised service centre.

Before connecting the appliance, please make sure that the voltage
data indicated on the identification technical data (5) correspond
to those of the mains voltage. The identification technical data (5)
are found under the appliance.
This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it
was designed, namely as a toaster for home use. Any other use is
considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.

The electrical safety of this appliance is only guaranteed when it
is connected correctly to an effective earthing system as required
by applicable electrical safety standards. This important safety
requirement must be verified and, if in doubt, request a thorough

authorised technical service centre.
If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised
technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.

The appliance is NOT intended to be used with an external timer
or through a separate remote control or similar systems.

CLEANING BEFORE FIRST USE
To lift the appliance, do not insert your hands in the cooking cell, but
hold it from the external walls (3) [Fig. B].
Unpack the appliance and remove any inserts or adhesive labels from the product.
• Wash removable components: the clamp (1) and the crumb tray (6) by hand or in the
dishwasher.
• In the dishwasher, making sure the maximum temperature of the water does not
exceed 55 °C.
• Dry with a dry cloth.

OPERATION
The power selector (8) has 2 positions:
ECO To limit power consumption while cooking.
To toast bread and bruschetta.
NORMAL USE To accelerate the cooking process.
To cook toasted sandwiches.
ASSEMBLY
When used for the first few times, wait a few minutes before inserting the
food, there might be some smoke coming out from the new appliance.
• Insert the plug (4) in the socket.
USE
NEVER insert your hands, forks or other utensils in the cooking cell (2), even
if the appliance is off.
• Proceed as follows after having assembled the appliance:
• Press the handle (9) to open the clamp (1) and then insert the food.
• Insert the clamp (1) in the cooking cell (2) [Fig. C].
• Turn the power selector (8) to the desired position.
• Turn the timer (7) to the desired cooking time.
• Wait for the beep to indicate the cooking process is complete and remove the clamp
(1).
• Disconnect the plug (4) from the socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wait for the appliance and the clamp (1) to cool down completely
before going ahead with cleaning.
• Clean the appliance after having used it.
• Remove the clamp (1) from the cooking cell (2).
• Remove the crumb tray (6) [Fig. D].
• Wash the clamp (1) and the crumb tray (6) by hand or in the dishwasher.

• In the dishwasher, making sure the maximum temperature of the water does not
exceed 55 °C.
• Clean the sides of the toaster (3) with a well-wrung damp cloth.
• Dry with a dry cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Should one of the problems indicated occur, adopt the proposed solution:
Problem Solution
The bread is not toasted enough. Turn the timer (7) again for additional
cooking time.
The toaster emits smoke. When used for the first few times, wait for
a few minutes before inserting the food.
The crumb tray (6) does not come out. First remove the clamp (1) and then the
crumb tray (6).
DISPOSAL
The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the
environmental protection standards.
The appliance must be disposed of in compliance with EU standard 2002/96/EC.
The recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be collected to prevent
environmental pollution. For further information contact the local waste authority or
the appliance retailer.

• Tisztítsa meg a készülék külső falait (3) nedves és jól kicsavart szivaccsal.
• Törölje szárazra.
Amennyiben az alábbiakban felsoroltak közül valamely probléma előfordul, kövesse az
alábbiakat:

A nem használt készüléket a 2002/96/EK európai uniós irányelv előírásainak
megfelelően kell ártalmatlanítani. A készülék újrahasznosítható elemei a
környezetszennyezés elkerülése érdekében újrahasznosításra kerülnek. Bővebb
felvilágosításért forduljon a helyi hulladékhasznosító vállalathoz, vagy ahhoz az
üzlethez, ahol a készüléket vásárolta.
Javítások vagy cserealkatrészek beszerzésének szükségessége esetén lépjen kapcsolatba
az IMETEC felhatalmazott műszaki szervizszolgálatával az alábbi zöld számon vagy
látogasson el a honlapra. A készülékre a gyártó garanciája érvényes.
