1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Lichteffektgerät LE-240 ist besonders für den Einsatz auf der
Bühne, in der Diskothek oder im privaten Partykeller geeignet.
Durch die vier musikgesteuerten, rotierenden Spiegel wird ein far-
biges Lichtmuster für eine ideale Dancefloor-Atmosphäre erzeugt.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den Dauerbetrieb geeignet; ununter-
brochene Betriebsdauer max. 1 Stunde.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromagnetische Verträg-
lichkeit89/336/EWGundderNiederspannungsrichtlinie73/23/EWG.
●Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich. Schützen Sie es
vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich
0–40°C).
●Während des Betriebs heizt sich das Gerät stark auf. Um Ver-
brennungen zu vermeiden, berühren Sie das Gerät nicht
während des Betriebs bzw. lassen Sie es nach demAusschalten
einige Minuten abkühlen, bevor Sie es berühren.
●Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen an der Geräteober- und
unterseite nicht ab – Brandgefahr, und stecken Sie keine
Gegenständedurch dieLüftungsöffnungen –Gefahr eines elek-
trischen Schlags!
●NehmenSie dasGerät nichtinBetrieb bzw.ziehen Siesofortden
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netzanschlußleitung
vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht auf einen
Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspannung (230V~)
versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor.
Durch unsachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines elek-
trischen Schlages. Lassen Sie das Gerät in einer Fachwerkstatt
reparieren.
●Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur durch den Her-
stelleroder durcheineautorisierte Fachwerkstattersetztwerden.
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches
Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig montiert, falsch
bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventuelle
Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.
●Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden,
übergeben Sie es zur Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recycling-
betrieb.
3 Leuchtmittel einsetzen oder auswechseln
Das Lichteffektgerät wird ohne Leuchtmittel geliefert. Benötigt wird
eineHalogenlampe24V/150WmiteinemSockel GY6,35(z.B.HLT-
24/150 oder HL-24/150L aus dem Sortiment von „img Stage Line“).
Wichtig! Ziehen Sie vor dem Einsetzen bzw. Auswechseln der
Halogenlampe unbedingt den Netzstecker! Weil die Lampe im
Betrieb sehr heiß wird, nach dem Ziehen des Netzsteckers das
Gerät mindestens 5 Minuten abkühlen lassen.
1) Die zwei Rändelschrauben an der Geräteunterseite abschrau-
ben, und die Abdeckplatte abnehmen.
2) Bei einem Lampenwechsel die defekte Lampe vorsichtig aus der
Fassung ziehen.
3) Die neue Halogenlampe nicht mit den Fingern berühren. Hautfett
und -schweiß mindern die Leuchtkraft und brennen sich ein. Die
Lampe mit Hilfe eines sauberen, weichen Tuches in die Fassung
stecken.
4) DieAbdeckplatte wieder festschrauben.
4 Montage
1) Mit einer Lichtstrahler-Halterung bzw. einer stabilen Montage-
schraube das Gerät über den Montagebügel (6) an der
gewünschten Stelle (Traverse eines Lichtstrahlerstativs oder
Quergestänge) befestigen.
2) Zum Ausrichten des Gerätes die Feststellschrauben (3) am Mon-
tagebügel lösen, die gewünschte Neigung des Gerätes einstel-
len, und die Feststellschrauben wieder anziehen.
5 Bedienung
1) Den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose stecken (230V~/50Hz).
Damit ist das Lichteffektgerät eingeschaltet, die Halogenlampe
leuchtet.
2) An der Musikanlage die gewünschte Lautstärke einstellen.
3) Mit dem Drehregler (5) die gewünschte Mikrofonempfindlichkeit
einstellen. Wird der Regler entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn bis zum
Anschlag gedreht, ist das Mikrofon (4) ausgeschaltet, und die
Spiegel rotieren nicht. Je weiter der Regler im Uhrzeigersinn auf-
gedreht wird, desto höher wird die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit. Den
Regler so einstellen, daß die Dynamik der Musik optimal durch
die rotierenden Lichtstrahlen wiedergegeben wird.
HINWEIS:
Bei Veränderung der Lautstärke an der Musikanlage muß auch
die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit mit dem Drehregler entsprechend
angepaßt werden.
4) Zum Ausschalten den Netzstecker wieder aus der Steckdose
ziehen. Für einen besseren Bedienkomfort das Gerät an eine
Steckdose anschließen, die sich über einen Lichtschalter ein-
und ausschalten läßt.

Light Effect Unit with 4 Rotary Mirrors
1 Applications
The light effect unit LE-240 is especially suited for stage, disco, and
private party applications. Due to the four music-controlled, rotating
mirrors a coloured light pattern is produced to create an ideal dance
floor atmosphere. The unit is not suitable for continuous operation;
uninterrupted operating time max. 1 hour.
2 Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to the directive for electromagnetic compati-
bility 89/336/EEC and to the low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
●Only use the unit indoors. Protect it against humidity and heat
(admissible ambient temperature range 0–40°C).
●During operation the unit heats up very much. To avoid burnings,
do not touch the unit during the operation or let it cool down for
some minutes after switching off before you touch it.
●Do not cover the vents at the lower and upper sides of the hous-
ing – fire hazard, and do not place any objects through the vents
– shock hazard!
●Do not set the unit into operation or immediately switch off the
mains voltage if:
1. damage is visible at the unit or mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit is supplied with dangerous mains voltage (230V~). In
order to prevent a shock hazard, do not open it. Leave servicing
to authorized, skilled personnel only.
●A damaged mains cable must only be replaced by the manufac-
turer or authorized personnel.
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any chemicals
or water.
●If the unit is used for purposes other than originally intended, if it
is not installed or operated correctly or not repaired in an expert
way, no liability for any damage will be accepted.
●If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, it must be dis-
posed of in a local recycling plant.
●Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
Asthe colours ofthe wiresin themains lead ofthis appliancemay
not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the termi-
nals in your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be con-
nected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the let-
terEor bytheearth symbol ,orcoloured greenorgreen and
yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the ter-
minal which is marked with the letter Nor coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter Lor coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
3 Inserting or Replacing of the Lamp Insert
The light effect unit is supplied without lamp insert.Ahalogen lamp
24V/150W with a GY6,35 base (e.g. HLT-24/150 or HL-24/150L
of the “img Stage Line” range) is necessary.
Important! Prior to inserting or replacing of the halogen lamp dis-
connect the mains plug in any case!As the lamp becomes very hot
during operation, let the unit cool down for at least 5 minutes after
disconnecting the mains plug.
1) Screw off the two knurled screws at the lower side of the housing
and take off the cover plate.
2) For changing a lamp, carefully pull the defective lamp out of the
socket.
3) Donot touchthenewhalogen lampwithyourfingers. Greaseand
sweat from the skin reduce the lighting power and burn in. Insert
the lamp into the socket by means of a clean, soft cloth.
4) Tightly screw the cover plate again.
4 Mounting
1) Fix the unit via the mounting bracket (6) with a support for light
radiating units or a stable mounting screw at the desired place
(traverse of a stand for light radiating units or horizontal bar).
2) To align the unit, release the setscrews (3) at the mounting
bracket, adjust the desired inclination of the unit, and tighten the
setscrews again.
5 Operation
1) Connect the mains plug to a mains socket (230V~/50Hz). Thus,
the light effect unit is switched on, the halogen lamp lights up.
2) Adjust the desired volume at the music system.
3) Adjust the desired microphone sensitivity with the rotary control
(5). If the control is turned counterclockwise until it stops, the
microphone (4) is switched off, and the mirrors do not rotate.The
more the control is turned up clockwise, the higher the micro-
phone sensitivity. Adjust the control so that the dynamics of the
music is reproduced by the rotating light beams in an optimum
way.
NOTE:
When changing the volume at the music system, the microphone
sensitivity must also be matched with the rotary control corre-
spondingly.
4) Forswitching off,disconnect themainsplugagain fromthemains
socket. For more comfortable operation connect the unit to a
socket to be switched on and off via a light switch.

Modulateur de lumière avec

1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Le modulateur de lumière LE-240 est spécialement conçu pour une
utilisation sur scène, en discothèque ou pour la soirée privée. A
cause de quatre miroirs rotatifs commandés par la musique, un
dessin lumineux coloré est produit pour créer une atmosphère
idéale pour des soirées dansantes. L’appareil n’est pas approprié
au service permanent; la durée de service interrompue est 1 heure
max.
2 Conseils d’utilisation
Cet appareil répond à la norme européenne 89/336/EEC relative
à la compatibilité électromagnétique et à la norme européenne
73/23/CEE portant sur les appareils à basse tension.
●Cet appareil n’est conçu que pour une utilisation en intérieur;
protégez-le de l’humidité et de la chaleur (température ambiante
admissible 0–40°C).
●Pendant le fonctionnement, l’appareil chauffe fortement. Pour
éviter toute brûlure, ne touchez jamais l’appareil pendant son
fonctionnement. De même, une fois éteint, laissez-le refroidir
quelques minutes avant de le toucher.
●Ne couvrez pas les fentes de ventilation à la face supérieure et
inférieure – danger d’incendie, et ne mettez pas d’objects dans
les fentes de ventilation – danger d’une décharge électrique!
●Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil ou débranchez-le immédia-
tement du secteur lorsque:
1. des dommages apparaissent sur l’appareil ou sur le cordon
secteur,
2. après une chute ou un cas similaire, vous avez un doute sur
l’état de l’appareil,
3. des défaillances apparaissent.
L’appareil est alimenté par une tension très dangereuse en
230V~. En cas de mauvaise manipulation, vous pourriez subir
une décharge électrique mortelle. Faites toujours appel à un
technicien spécialisé pour effectuer les réparations.
●Seul le constructeur ou un technicien habilité peut remplacer un
cordon secteur endommagé.
●Pour le nettoyer, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux, en aucun cas,
des produits chimiques ou d’eau.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommage si l’ap-
pareil est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été
conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement monté ou utilisé ou n’est pas
réparé d’une façon appropriée.
●Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré du service, vous
devez le déposer dans une usine de recyclage adaptée.
3 Insérer ou remplacer de la lampe
Le modulateur de lumière est livré sans lampe. Une lampe halo-
gène 24V/150W, culot GY6,35 (p.ex. HLT-24/150 ou HL-24/150L
de la gamme “img Stage Line”) est nécessaire.
Important! Avant d’insérer ou de remplacer la lampe halogène,
veillez à ce que l’appareil soit débranché du secteur en tout cas!
Pendant le fonctionnement, la lampe est très chaude, laissez refroi-
dir l’appareil 5 minutes au moins!
1) Dévissez sur la face inférieure de l’appareil les deux vis
moletées, et retirez le couvercle.
2) Pour changer une lampe, retirez la lampe défectueuse avec pré-
caution de sa douille.
3) Ne touchez pas la nouvelle lampe halogène avec les doigts. La
graisse et la sueur de la peau réduisent l’intensité lumineuse et
cuisentdedans. Mettezlalampe danssadouilleàl’aided’unchif-
fon propre et doux.
4) Revissez le couvercle.
4 Montage
1) Fixez l’appareil à l’aide d’un support pour projecteur de lumière
ou d’une vis de montage stable via l’étrier de montage (6) à l’en-
droitdésiré (traverse d’unpied delumière oubarre transversale).
2) Desserrez les vis de fixations (3) de l’étrier de montage pour diri-
ger l’appareil, réglez l’orientation voulue de l’appareil, puis revis-
sez les vis de fixation.
5 Fonctionnement
1) Reliez l’appareil au secteur (230V~/50Hz). Le modulateur de
lumière est alors allumé, la lampe halogène s’allume.
2) Réglez le volume désiré sur le système musical.
3) Avec le potentiomètre rotatif (5) réglez la sensibilité désirée du
microphone. Lorsque vous tournez ce dernier dans le sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre, jusqu’à la butée, le micro-
phone (4) est éteint, et les miroirs ne tournent pas. Plus vous
tournez le potentiomètre dans le sens des aiguilles d’une mon-
tre, plus la sensibilité du microphone augmente. Réglez le poten-
tiomètrede tellesorteque ladynamiquedelamusiquesoitrepro-
duite de manière optimale par des faisceaux lumineux rotatifs.
CONSEIL:
Lorsque vous modifiez le volume sur le système musical, la sen-
sibilité du microphone doit être adaptée avec le potentiomètre
rotatif.
4) Retirez le cordon secteur de la prise pour éteindre l’appareil.
Pour une opération plus facile, branchez l’appareil à une prise du
secteur qui peut être allumée et débranché via un commutateur
d’éclairage.

Unità per effetti luce con 4 specchi rotanti
1 Possibilità d’impiego
L’unità per effetti di luce LE-240 è adatta in particolar modo per l’im-
piego professionale e privato. Grazie ai 4 specchi rotanti comandati
dalla musica, si creano disegni colorati ideali per un atmosfera di
dancefloor. L’apparecchio non è previsto per l’uso continuo; l’uso
ininterrotto è consentito per 1 ora max.
2 Avvertenze
Quest’apparecchio corrisponde alle direttive CE 89/336/CEE sulla
compatibilità elettromagnetica e 73/23/CEE per apparecchi a
bassa tensione.
●Lo strumento è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno di locali. Pro-
teggerlo dall’umidità e dal calore (temperatura d’impiego
ammessa fra 0–40°C).
●Durante il funzionamento l’unità si riscalda moltissimo. Per evi-
tare bruciature non toccarla mai durante il funzionamento e farla
raffreddarsi per alcuni minuti dopo lo spegnimento.
●Non coprire le fessure di aerazione sui lati superiore ed inferiore
– pericolo di incendio – e non inserire oggetti in dette fessure
– pericolo di scossa elettrica!
●Non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio e staccare subito la spina
rete se:
1. l’apparecchio o il cavo rete presentano dei danni visibili;
2. dopo una caduta o dopo eventi simili sussiste il sospetto di un
difetto;
3. l’apparecchio non funziona correttamente.
L’unità funziona con tensione di rete di 230V~. Non intervenire
mai al suo interno; la manipolazione scorretta può provocare
delle scariche pericolose. Per la riparazione rivolgersi ad una offi-
cina competente.
●Il cavo rete, se danneggiato, deve essere sostituito solo dal
costruttore o da un laboratorio autorizzato.
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto; non impie-
gare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
●Nel caso di uso improprio, di montaggio sbagliati, di impiego
scoretto o di riparazione scorretta non si assume nessuna res-
ponsabilità per eventuali danni.
●Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitivamente, conse-
gnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Montaggio o sostituzione della lampadina
L’unitàviene fornitasenza lampadina. Èrichiestaunalampadaallo-
gena 24V/150W con zoccolo GY6,35 (p.es. HLT-24/150 della
“img Stage Line”).
Importante! Staccare assolutamente la spina di rete prima di mon-
tare o sostituire una lampadina! Dato che la lampadina diventa
molto calda durante il funzionamento, fare raffreddare l’unità per
non meno di 5 minuti dopo avere staccato la spina di rete.
1) Svitare le due viti zigrinate dal lato inferiore dell’unità e togliere
la piastra di copertura.
2) Nel caso di sostituzione della lampadina estrarre quella difettosa
delicatamente dal suo zoccolo.
3) Non toccare la nuova lampadina con le mani. Il grasso della
mano e il sudore riducono la potenza luminosa. Inserire la lam-
padine nello zoccolo servendosi di un panno morbido e pulito.
4) Rimontare la piastra di copertura.
4 Montaggio dell’unità
1) Fissare l’unità nel luogo desiderato (traversa di un treppiedi per
unità di luce) servendosi di un supporto per unità di luce o di una
vite robusta di montaggio.
2) Per orientare l’unità allentare le viti di fissaggio (3) sulla staffa di
montaggio, inclinare l’unità come desiderato e stringere di nuovo
le viti di fissaggio.
5 Funzionamento
1) Inserire la spina di rete in una presa (230V~/50Hz). L’unità è
accesa e la lampada si accende.
2) Sull’impianto di musica impostare il volume della musica.
3) Con il regolatore (5) impostare la sensibilità del microfono. Se il
regolatore viene girato completamente in senso antiorario fino
all’arresto,il microfono(4) èspentoe glispecchi nonsimuovono.
Più si apre il regolatore in senso orario, più aumenta la sensibi-
lità del microfono. Impostare il regolatore in modo tale che la
dinamica della musica venga riprodotta in maniera ottimale dai
raggi roteanti.
N.B.:
Se cambia il volume dell’impianto di musica occorre adattare la
sensibilità del microfono con il regolatore.
4) Per spegnere l’unità, staccare la spina dalla rete. Per maggiore
comoditàsi può collegarel’unità conuna presacomandata daun
interruttore.
