Introduction
SA01003 is inateck’s new style hard drive enclosure. Thanks
to the metal mesh design on its surface, SA01003 is good at
ventilation and heat dissipation. It ensures good performance
of the hard drive in it. SA01003 comes with USB 3.0 and UASP
which provides high speed data transmission, and is compatible
with Windows, Mac OS, as well as Linux.

Hard drive installation steps
a. Unlock the enclosure by toggling the switch to “unlocked”
position, and then slide the two covers laterally, in opposite
direction.
b. Put the hard disk into enclosure，make it align with SATA
interface inside the enclosure.
c. Push upwards, till the enclosure close completely.

or loss of crucial data.
b. Why cannot the hard drive with capacity over 2TB be
identied?
When use a new hard drive, you must partition it. MBR(Master
Boot Record) and GPT(GUID Partition Table) are two di󱐯erent
ways saving partition information. The maximum hard drive
capacity supported by MBR is 2TB. It cannot process the
disk with capacity larger than 2TB. GPT does not have such
limit. Therefore, you will need replace MBR with GPT on the
computer.
c. If your drives has been partitioned, please connect directly
with Enclosure to use. It will be showed “New Disk” in
computer. If not, in the premise of system can correctly
identify drives, you can use the partition and formatting
program come with system to reformat it.
D. The enclosure enters sleep mode automatically after lying
idle for 10 minutes.

Schritte zur Datenträgerinstallation
a. Entsperren Sie erst das Gehäuse, indem Sie den Schalter in die
Position "entriegelt" schieben. Schieben Sie dann die beiden
Abdeckungsteile seitlich in entgegengesetzte Richtung nach
außen weg.
b. Setzen Sie das Laufwerk in das Gehäuse ein. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass die SATA-Steckverbindungen eingerastet sind und fest
sitzen.
c. Schieben Sie die beiden Hälften des Gehäuses wieder
zusammen, bis die Kanten wieder aufeinanderliegen und das
Gehäuse komplett geschlossen ist.

a. Vor dem Trennen des Gehäuses werfen Sie dieses bitte korrekt
aus, indem Sie jeglichen Datenzugri󱐯 und -transfer zum Gerät
beenden, um ein korrektes Auswerfen zu ermöglichen. Eine
erzwungene Trennung während eines Datenzugri󱐯s kann zu
Beschädigungen und Verlust von Daten führen.

b. Weshalb werden Datenträger mit einer Kapazität von mehr
als 2 TB nicht erkannt?
Bei neuen Datenträgern muss eine
Partitionsformatzuweisung erfolgen. MBR (Master Boot
Record) und GPT (GUID Partition Table) sind zwei derartige
Formate zum Speichern von Partitionsdaten. MBR (32 bit) ist
veraltet und auf bis zu 2 TB beschränkt.. GPT unterliegt dieser
Einschränkung nicht. Deshalb muss die Initialisierung des
Datenträgers über den Rechner per GPT erfolgen, um MBR zu
ersetzen.
c. Wenn das Laufwerk bereits intern in einem Rechner in
Verwendung war und partitioniert wurde, kann es direkt in
das Gehäuse gesteckt und verwendet werden. Es wird dann
als „Neuer Datenträger“ angezeigt. Wenn der Datenträger
nicht direkt angezeigt wird, gerade nach einem Wechsel der
externen Datenbrücke oder bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme,
kann das systemeigene Datenträgerverwaltungsprogramm
verwendet werden, um das Laufwerk zu initialisieren und zu
formatieren.
d. Das Gehäuse geht nach zehn Minuten Inaktivität automatisch
in den Ruhemodus über.

ハードディスクインストールステップ

ます。

b. 2TB を超える容量のハードドライブを識別できないのはなぜ
ですか ?
新しいハードドライブを使用する場合は、パーティションを
分割する必要がありま す。HDD のパーテーションには、「マ
スターブートレコード (MBR)」と「GUID パ ーテーション テ
ーブル (GPT)」という方式があります。MBR は従来のパーテ
ーショ ン方式で、2TB までの HDD で利用できますが、 2TB
を超える容量のディスクは処理 できません。 GPT にはその
ような制限はありません。 したがって、コンピュータ上で
MBR を GPT に変更する必要があります。
c. ドライブがパーティション化されている場合は、エンクロー
ジャに直接接続して使用できます。コンピュータに「新しい
ディスク」として表示されます。ドライブがパーティション
されない場合は、ドライブが正しく識別される前提で、シス
テムに付属のパーティションとフォーマットプログラムを使
用してを再フォーマットしてください。
d. アイドル状態が 10 分間持続すると、ハードドライブは自動
的にスリープモードに入ります。

Étapes pour installer le disque dur
a. Déverrouillez le boîtier en basculant le bouton vers
"déverrouillage", et puis poussez les deux parties du boîtier
en direction opposée.
b. Mettez le disque dur dedans, tout en bien insérant le disque
dur dans l’interface SATA à l’intérieur du boîtier.
c. Repoussez la couverture pour fermer le boîtier.

endommagées.
b. Pourquoi le disque dur avec une capacité supérieure à 2 TB
ne peut être identié ?
Lorsque vous utilisez un nouveau disque dur, vous devez
le partitionner. MBR (Master Boot Record) et GPT (GUID
Partition Table) sont deux façons di󱐯érentes d'enregistrer des
informations de partition.La capacité maximale de disque dur
pris en charge par MBR est de 2 TB. Il ne peut pas traiter le

c. Si votre disque a été partitionné, vous pouvez directement
l’utiliser avec ce boîtier. Votre disque sera reconnu comme «
Nouveau disque » par l’ordinateur. Si votre disque n’apparaît
pas, et vous êtes sûr que l’ordinateur peut bien détecter des
disques, vous pouvez proter de la gestion des disques du
PC pour formater et partitionner votre disque.
d. Le boîtier entrera automatiquement en mode veille après 10
mins d’inactivité.

Passaggi per l’installazione dell’hard drive
a. Sbloccare il meccanismo di chiusura della custodia portando
il fermo su “Unlocked” e poi far scorrere le due parti della
copertura in direzioni opposte.
b. Inserire l’hard disk facendo coincidere l’interfaccia SATA con
