Product introduction
This unit breathes new life into your unused hard drive.
It adopts USB3.0 and is backward compatible with earlier
versions as well. This excellent transmission performance

Hard drive installation steps Picture
a. Push the 2.5”enclosure laterally.(push the two parts in the
opposite direction)
b. Put the hard disk into enclosure as follow, make it align
with SATA interface inside the enclosure

c. Push upwards as picture, till the enclosure close

Cautions
a: Before the removal of the data storage device , please
stop all data access and transfer to the device, so that the
storage can be normally removed. Forced removal may
lead to damage or loss of crucial data.
b: To guarantee a normal function of the enclosure, please
make sure the rated power of your hard drive is similar to
that of a USB output port.
c: If your drives has been partitioned, please connect
directly with Enclosure to use. It will be showed “New
Disk” in computer. If not, in the premise of system can
correctly identify drives, you can use the partition and
formatting program come with system to reformat it.
d: Due to the thickness difference of 2.5'' hard disk, a
sponge pad was attached. Users are suggested to paste
the sponge to internal side of the shell to avoid hard
drive sliding when installing a thin disk.

Montage und Inbetriebnahme von
Laufwerken (Bild)
a. Verschieben Sie die beiden Hälften des Gehäuses
gegeneinander, den Deckel von der Schnittstelle weg
b. Setzen Sie das Laufwerk wie abgebildet ein und
stellen Sie sicher, dass das Laufwerk fest in der SATA-
Schnittstelle einrastet.

c. Schieben Sie den Deckel nun wieder wie abgebildet auf,
bis die Hälften wieder bündig aufeinanderliegen.
d. Verbinden Sie das Gehäuse via USB-Kabel mit einem
Rechner.

Achtung
a. Stellen Sie bitte vor dem Entfernen des externen
Datenträgers sicher, dass keinerlei Datenzugriff auf
den Datenträger mehr erfolgt, zwecks eines regulären
Auswerfens des Geräts. Erzwungenes Trennen kann zu
Beschädigungen oder Datenverlust führen.
b. Um einen stabilen Betrieb des Laufwerks zu gewährleisten,
muss dessen Stromverbrauch dem via USB dargebotenen
Strom entsprechen.
c. Wenn die Datenträger bereits partitioniert sind, schließen
Sie diese bitte direkt an. Es erscheint ein neuer Eintrag
mit einem oder mehreren Laufwerken im Dateimanager.
Wenn die Einträge nicht direkt auftauchen, der Datenträger
aber zumindest in der Datenträgerverwaltung bzw. im
Festplattendienstprogramm physikalisch erkannt wird, kann
eine Initialisierung oder Neuformatierung (bei Gehäuse-
oder Adapterwechseln) des Datenträgers erfolgen.
d. Aufgrund variabler Bauhöhen bei 2,5“-Laufwerken
wurde eine zusätzliche Schaumstoffeinlage beigefügt,
die bei Bedarf auf die vorhandene Einlage im Deckel
aufgeklebt werden kann, um dünne 7,5 mm Laufwerke vor
ungewolltem Herumrutschen zu sichern.

ハードディスクインストールステップ

A．PC からエンクロージャを取り外す前に、データの読み
取りを停止してください。強制的に抜くと、メインデー
タが壊れたり、無くしたりする可能性があります。
B. 正常に動作するように、ハードドライブの定格電力がハ
ードドライブエンクロージャ USB ポートの出力電力に適
合していることを確認してください。
C. ドライブがパーティション化されている場合は、エンク
ロージャに直接接続して使用できます。コンピュータに
「新しいディスク」として表示されます。ドライブがパ
ーティションされない場合は、ドライブが正しく識別さ
れる前提で、システムに付属のパーティションとフォー
マットプログラムを使用してを再フォーマットしてくだ
さい。
D. スポンジパッドが付属されています。薄い 2.5 " ハード
ディスクを取り付けるときに、ハードドライブを固定す
るために、スポンジをシェルの内側に貼り付けることを
推奨します。

Fonction principale
Ce produit est doté d’USB 3.0 et rétrocompatible avec les
versions plus anciennes. Pas besoin d’outils, pratique à

Étapes pour installer le disque dur
a. Poussez horizontalement la couverture du boîtier pour
les diviser en deux parties (opposez la direction des deux
parties).
b. Mettez le disque dur dedans, tout en bien insérant le
disque dur dans l’interface SATA à l’intérieur du boîtier.

c. Repoussez la couverture pour fermer le boîtier.
d. Connectez le boîtier à l’ordinateur via un câble USB

a. Avant d’arracher votre disque dur, veuillez svp bloquer
tout accès à votre disque dur, c’est-à-dire arrêter de lire
et d’écrire pour retirer le disque dur sans dégât. Sinon,
les données dans votre disque dur seront perdues ou
endommagées.
b. Pour un bon usage, veuillez confirmer que le courant
nominal de votre disque dur ne dépasse pas le courant
de sortie d’un port USB.
c. Si votre disque a été partitionné, vous pouvez
directement l’utiliser avec ce boîtier. Votre disque sera
reconnu comme « Nouveau disque » par l’ordinateur.
Si ce n’est pas le cas, et si vous êtes sûr que l’ordinateur
peut bien détecter des disques, vous pouvez profiter
de la gestion des disques du PC pour formater et
partitionner votre disque.
d. Tous les disques durs 2,5” ne sont pas de la même
épaisseur, c’est pourquoi nous o󱐯rons une éponge dans
l’emballage. Si votre disque dur est mince, vous pouvez
la coller au parois du boîtier.

Come si usa
a. Aprire la box 2.5” facendo scorrere le due parti del guscio
in direzioni opposte.
b. Collocare il disco rigido nella custodia facendo
corrispondere i connettori SATA.

c. Spingere in su nché la box non si chiude.
d. Collegare la FE2004 al computer con il cavo USB.
