area. Only use cables or lifelines that are certied and in perfect working order, meeting
the appropriate specications, including the maximum lifting capacity for the XTIRPA
system’s intended use.
CAUTION: Any system must immediately be removed from use if its safety is in doubt or
in the event that it was used to stop a fall. It is imperative to immediately stop using the
system until a competent person authorizes in writing the product’s integrity before it can
be used again.
CAUTION: Regarding fall arrest systems, to ensure the user’s safety, the anchoring device
or anchorage point must always be correctly positioned and work must be carried out in a
way that minimizes the risk and height of falls. The anchoring device or anchorage point
must imperatively be placed above the user’s position.
CAUTION: When using a fall arrest system and to ensure safety, please check the
clearance below the user in the work place before every possible use, so that in case of
a fall, no collision with the ground can occur and no obstacle is found on the trajectory.
IMPORTANT: Only cer tied fall arrest body harnesses may be used with a fall arrest system.
IMPORTANT: The fall arrest harness must be fastened to the system’s cable or lifeline by
the harness’s fall arrest suspension point.
CAUTION: It is strictly forbidden to use a fall arrest winch/lifeline in any position situated
underneath the davit.
