IM Portable Pro Unit (PPU)
Set Up Instructions
Locate the PPU.
The top of the PPU has:
• Mini USB Port
• Audio Input
The bottom of the PPU has:
• Wired Trigger Port
• Audio Port
The Indicator Lights are
located in the center of
the PPU.

CONNECT THE TRIGGERS

Your triggers should
look like this
Connect the button
trigger to the splitter
Connect the tap mat
to the splitter
Connect the splitter to the
bottom of the PPU in the
trigger port
PLUG IN THE HEADPHONES

Plug the headphones into the audio port
marked with a picture of headphones
on the bottom of the PPU
The lights on the PPU will blink RED when
the button trigger is pressed and blink
WHITE when the tap mat is touched.
DO NOT FORCE THE HEADPHONES IN!

CONNECT THE USB & AUDIO CABLES TO THE PPU

Connect the smaller end of the USB cable
to the USB port on the top of the PPU
Connect the audio cable to the Audio
Input port on the top of the PPU
CONNECT THE USB &
AUDIO CABLES TO THE
COMPUTER

Connect the larger end of the
USB cable into an appropriate
port on the Laptop.
The plug will only t one way, do NOT
force the USB cable in the wrong way!
PPU READY TO USE

When both indicator lights
are blue PPU is ready to use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If both lights are not blue:
• Move USB cable to another
available port.
• If that does not work, make sure
computer is NOT running o
of battery power & unplug and
replug USB cable into computer.
