SG20B Charge Base Instructions
These instructions explain how to install and use the SG20B
charge base.
Connecting Power
You need one of the following cables sold and ordered separately:
•DC power supply (P/N 851-089-xxx), which requires a
country-specific power cord, or
•A standard USB cable
See the SG20B Charge Base Compliance Insert for use
restrictions associated with this product.
Note: The host USB port must deliver 500 mA to power the
charge base. If you have a message that the host does not
provide enough power use a different USB hub or disconnect
other USB devices.

Unmounted Installation
Attach the rubber feet (provided) to the feet locations.
Mounted Installation
Mount the charge base:
•Using double-sided foam tape (provided) or
•Using mounting hardware (not provided)
To install using double-sided foam tape
•Attach the foam tape to the tape location and stick the
charger on a flat and clean surface.

To install using mounting hardware
•Use the mounting template on the back cover to correctly
install mounting hardware.
Charging the SG20B Scanner
When the scanner is correctly docked in the charger it beeps
twice.
If the scanner does not beep when inserted in the charge base
check the following:
•Scanner is correctly inserted in the charger base.
•Power is supplied to the charge base via the correct DC power
supply or USB cable (= 500 mA).
•Battery contacts are clean. To clean the contacts, rub them
with a pencil eraser and remove any eraser debris.

Storage temperature: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)

为 SG20B 扫描仪充电
当扫描仪正确对接到充电器中后，会发出两次嘟嘟声。
如果扫描仪插入充电基座后未发出嘟嘟声，请检查以下事项：
•扫描仪正确插入到充电基座中。
•通过正确的直流电源或 USB 电缆 (= 500 mA) 向充电基座
供电。
•电池触点清洁。要清洁电池触点，请使用铅笔橡皮擦拭，
之后将橡皮屑清理干净。
