LIMITED WARRANTY
PLEASE NOTE: THE WARRANTY BELOW HAS BEEN DRAFTED TO COMPLY WITH
FEDERAL LAW APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AFTER JULY 4, 1975.
T is warranty is extended only to t e original purc aser w o purc ases t is product w en new
and unused from Invacare Corporation or a dealer. T is warranty is not extended to any ot er
person or entity and is not transferable or assignable to any subsequent purc aser or owner.
Coverage under t is warranty will end upon any suc subsequent sale or ot er transfer of title
to any ot er person. T is warranty gives you specific legal rig ts and you may also ave ot er
legal rig ts w ic vary from state to state.
Invacare warrants t is product w en purc ased new and unused to be free from defects in
materials and workmans ip for a period of six mont s from date of purc ase from Invacare or a
dealer, wit a copy of t e seller’s invoice required for coverage under t is warranty. If wit in
suc warranty period any suc product s all be proven to Invacare’s satisfaction to be defective,
suc product s all be repaired or replaced, at Invacare’s option. T is warranty does not apply to
normal wear and tear or failure to ad ere to t e product instructions, nor does it include
s ipping c arges incurred in replacement part installation or repair of any suc product.
Invacare’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under t is warranty s all be limited to
suc repair and/or replacement.
For warranty service, please contact t e Invacare service department during normal business
ours at t e toll-free telep one number identified on t e back cover of t is manual. Upon
receiving notice of an alleged defect in a product, Invacare will issue a serialized return
aut orization. It s all be t e responsibility of t e purc aser to pack t e product(s) or part(s) in
an appropriate manner to avoid s ipping damage and return t e product(s) or part(s), at t e
purc aser’s expense, to eit er Invacare’s plant or service center as specified by Invacare in
advance. T e defective product(s) or component part(s) must be returned for warranty
inspection using t e serial number as identification wit in 30 days of t e return aut orization
date. DO NOT return any product(s) or part(s) to our factory or service center wit out prior
consent. C.O.D. s ipments will be refused – please pre-pay s ipping c arges.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY
TO SERIAL NUMBERED PRODUCTS IF THE SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR
DEFACED; PRODUCTS SUBJECTED TO NEGLIGENCE, ACCIDENT, IMPROPER
OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, OR STORAGE; PRODUCTS MODIFIED WITHOUT
INVACARE’S EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
MODIFICATION THROUGH THE USE OF UNAUTHORIZED PARTS OR ATTACHMENTS);
PRODUCTS DAMAGED BY REASON OF REPAIRS MADE TO ANY COMPONENT
WITHOUT THE SPECIFIC CONSENT OF INVACARE; PRODUCTS DAMAGED BY
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND INVACARE’S CONTROL; OR PRODUCTS REPAIRED BY
ANYONE OTHER THAN INVACARE OR AN AUTHORIZED INVACARE SERVICE CENTER.
SUCH EVALUATION SHALL BE SOLELY DETERMINED BY INVACARE.
THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER
WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, AND THE SOLE REMEDY FOR VIOLATIONS OF ANY WARRANTY
WHATSOEVER, SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE
PRODUCT PURSUANT TO THE TERMS CONTAINED HEREIN. THE APPLICATION OF
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHATSOEVER SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE
DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN. INVACARE SHALL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, OR LIMITATION OF HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY
LASTS, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE EXTENDED TO COMPLY WITH STATE/PROVINCIAL LAWS
AND REQUIREMENTS.
