Be su re the unit is pro perly grounded. To minimize shock and f ire ha zards , proper gro unding is im portant.
The p ower cord is equ ipped with a three -prong grounding plug for protection a gainst shock
hazar ds.
Your unit mus t be u sed in a pro perly grounded wall rec eptacle. If t he wa ll rece ptacle you in tend to use is
not adequately gr ounded or protected by a tim e dela y fuse or cir cuit breaker , have a qua lied electrician
install the proper recep tacle.
Ensur e the recep tacle i s acce ssible after the unit insta llation.
Do no t use exten sion c ords or an adap ter pl ugs w ith th is uni t. However, if it is nec essar y to use an
extension c ord, u se an approved Dehumidier exten sion c ord only (ava ilable at most loca l hardware
stores ).
To avo id the possi bility of pers onal injury, alwa ys dis connect the power supp ly to the un it, before in stalling
and/or serv icing.

The humidity level can be s et within a range of

For drier air, press the pad and s et to a lower
percent value(% ).
For damper air, press the pad a nd s et a higher

IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS

Wait 3 minutes before resuming operation
After the unithas s topped, it can not be restart
opertation in the first 3 minutes. This is to protect
the unit. Operation will automatically s tart after
3 minutes.
NOTE: All the pictures in the manual are
for explanation purposes only .Your unit

When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the
compressor will cycle oand the fan will continue to
run until the frost disappears .
Auto Defrost
Auto-Restart
If the unit breaks o unexpectedly due to the power cut, it will restart
with the previous function s etting a utomatically when the power
resumes.
Setting the Timer
When the unit is on, press the T imer button to a ctieve the AUTO
S TOP featrue. When the unit is o, press this button to a ctieve the
AUTO START feature
P ress or hold the U P or DOWN button to c hange the Auto time by
0.5 hour increments, up to 10 hours, then a t 1 hour increments up to
24 hours. T he control will count down the time remaining until start.
The s elected time will register in 5 s econds a nd the s ystem will
automatically revert back to display the previous humidity s etting.
Turning the unit O N or OFF a t any time or adjusting the timer setting
to 0.0 will cancel the Auto S tart or Auto S top feature.
When L E D display window displays the code of P 2, the Auto S tart
or Auto S top feature will also be cancelled.

OPERATING THE UNIT
When using the unit
W hen rst using the dehumidier, o perate the unit continuously 2 4 hours.

This unit is designed to operate with a working e nvironment between 5 C(41 F) a nd 35 C (95 F) .
If the unit has been s witched off and needs to be switched on a gain quickly, a llow approximately
three minutes for the correct operation to resume.
Do not connect the dehumidier to a multiple s ocket outlet, which is a lso being used for other electrical appliances .
Se lect a s uitable loca tion, making su re y ou have ea sy a cc es s to a n elec trica l outlet.
Plug the unit into a 115V~6 0Hz/220~240V 50Hz (R efer to the nameplate located on the side/rear of the unit ) electrical
socket-outlet with e arth c onnection.
Make sure the Water bucket is correctly tted otherwise the unit will not operate properly.
A dehumidier operating in a bas ement will have little or no
effect in drying an a djacent enclose d storage area , s uch as a
c lose t, unless there is a dequate circulation of a ir in a nd out of
the area .

Positioning the unit
Do not use outdoors.
T his dehumidifer is intended for indoor res idential
a pplications only. T his dehumidier s hould not be used
for c ommercial or industrial a pplications.
P lace the dehumidier on a smooth, l evel oor s trong
enough to s upport the unit with a full bucket of water.
Allow a t lea st 2 0cm of a ir space on a ll sides of the unit
for good air circulation.
P lace the unit in a n area where the temperature will not

fa ll below 5 C (41 F) . T he c oils c an become covered with
OO
frost at temperatures below 5 C (41 F) , w hich may re duce
performance.
P lace the unit away from the clothes dryer, heater or radiator.
U se the unit to prevent moisture damage anywhere books
or valuables are stored.
U se the dehumidier in a bas ement to help prevent
m oisture damage.
T he dehumidier must be operated in a n enclos ed
a rea to be mos t eective.
C lose a ll doors, windows and other outside openings
to the room.

Casters can only move laterally.
Do not force casters to move over carpet,
nor move the unit with water in the bucket.
(The unit may tip over and spill water.)
NOTE:Casters is optional,some models without.

Removing the collected water
There are two ways to remove collected water.
1. Use the bucket
When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically
stop running, and the Full indicator light will ash.
Slowly pull out the bucket. Grip the left and right
handles securely, and carefully pull out straight so
water does not spill. Do not put the bucket on the oor
because the bottom of the bucket is uneven.
Otherwise the bucket will fall and cause the water
to spill.
Throw away the water from the water outlet (See Fig.7)
and replace the bucket. The bucket must be in place
and securely seated for the dehumidier to operate.
The machine will re-start when the bucket is restored
in its correct position.
NOTES:
When you remove the bucket, do not touch any parts
inside of the unit. Doing so may damage the product.
Be sure to push the bucket gently all the way into the
unit. Banging the bucket against anything or failing to
push it in securely may cause the unit not to operate.

1. Pull out the bucket a little.
2. Hold both sides of the bucket
with even strength, and pull it
out from the unit.
3. Pour the water out.
Water can be automatically emptied into a oor
drain by attaching the unit witha water hose
( 12mm) (not included).
NOTE: When the continuous drain feature is not
being used,remove the drain hose from the outlet
and attach the rubber plug back to the drain outlet.
R emove the rubber plug from the back of the unit and s tore
it in a s afe location.
Inse rt the water hose into the unit from the drain outlet in the
bac k of the unit as s hown in F ig.8. Attach the water hose to
the drain hose outlet of the unit.Make sure the connec tion
of the water hose and the drain hose outlet of the unit is tight
and do not let the water leak.
T hen lead the water hose to the oor drain or a s uitable
drainage facility.T he drainage facilify should be lower than the
drain outlet of the unit.
B e sure to run the water hose sloping downward and let the
water to ow out s moothly.Do not install the water hose as
s hown Fi g.9a a nd F ig.9b.

After turning o the unit, wait one day before emptying
the bucket.
Clean the main unit, bucket and air lter.
Wrap the cord and bundle it with the band(see Fig.16).
Cover the unit with a plastic bag.
Store the unit upright in a dry , well-ventilated place.
NOTE: You should loose the screw on the cover of the
bucket before clean it and then install it back.
4. When not using the unit for long time periods
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Care and cleaning of the dehumidifier
Turn the dehumidier o and remove the plug
from the wall outlet before cleaning.
1. Clean the Grille and Case
Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach
or abrasives.
Do not splash water directly onto the main unit. Doing
so may cause an electrical shock, cause the insulation
to deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust.
The air intake and outlet grilles get soiled easily, so use
a vacuum attachment or brush to clean.
2. Clean the bucket
Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent
growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially
ll the bucket with clean water and add a little
mild detergent. Swish it around in the bucket,
empty and rinse.
NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher to clean the
bucket. After clean, the bucket must be in place
and securely seated for the dehumidier to operate.

3. Clean the air filter
The air lter behind the front grille should be
checked and cleaned at least every 30 days
or more often if necessary.
NOTE: DO NOT RINSE OR PUT THE FILTER
IN AN AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER.
To remove:
Pull the water bucket out as shown in Fig.10.
Grip the tab on the lter and press them in slightly
to take them out from the lter holder,then pull out
the lter downward.(see Fig.11~13).
Clean the lter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and
let the lter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the
lter in a dishwasher.
To attach:
Insert the lter into the unit,then press the tab in on
the lter slightly and push the lter upward.(See
Fig.14 and Fig.15).
CAUTION:
DO NOT operate the dehumidier without a lter
because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce performance.
