360° Ceiling Mount Passive Infrared SenSwitch
LC-360HI Installation Instructions
GENERAL
The LC-360HI is a heavy duty 360° ceiling mount
passive infrared SenSwitch designed for automatic
lighting control and energy management of industrial
commercial and residential buildings. This sensor
employs an innovative hybrid switching control
technology to switch the load with high inrush current.
The connected lights will be switched on
automatically when LC-360HI detects the movement
of human body. Lights will be switched off
automatically if no motion is further detected before
the delay time expire. The built-in photocell sensor
can be set to inhibit the light switching if the ambient
light level is high.
INSTALLATION
Caution: Some local building codes may require
installation by a qualified electrician. Consult an
electrician about safely rule and correct wiring.
Switch off the power to the li htin circuit
before wirin .
1. Loosen the cover locking screw remove the
cover from the main unit. Releases two screws
on the main unit to disassemble the mounting
plate.
2. Fix the mounting plate on the ceiling at the
center of desire coverage.

Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram of
the desired control mode. Replace the main unit then
test can be conducted.
WIRING DIAGRAM
Warning !!!
Wrong connection between "live" and "neutral" wires
may cause malfunction or permanent damage to the
unit. Verify the feature of power line before wiring.
Automatic control
The following diagram shows the connection of
automatic lighting control by SenSwitch.
Automatic control with manual-on
An additional manual switch connected in parallel
with the SenSwitch provide automatic control of the
light when the switch is off. The light will be constantly
on when the switch is on disregard any motion or
light level.
WALK TEST
After the wiring completed check again to ensure
correct wiring. Switch on AC mains power light will
remain on about 90 seconds to warm up. After the
warm up time expires (light goes off) walk within the
detection range at normal speed light will be
switched on automatically when motion is detected.
Note: If the SenSwitch responds to the movement
outside of desired range the provided label can be
used to mask the lens segment proportionally.
Note: After the walk test completed ensure to set the
adequate light-on delay time (TIME) and ambient light
level (LUX) jumper head at corresponding positions.

DETECTION COVERAGE
Detection range of LC-360HI varies with the mounting
height. Following chart shows the maximum coverage
at different ceiling heights.

TIME & LUX CONTROL
TIME
TIME control determines the light-on delay time after
the last motion is detected. Different delay time can
be set by placing the jumper head at different pin.

LUX
LUX control determines the switching operation of
SenSwitch by sensing the ambient light level.
Different light level can be set by placing the jumper
head at different pin.

smaller value selected the darker when SenSwitch
operates to control the lighting.
