Infraredtouchscreenisanentirenewhuman‐computerequipment,whichallowspeopletocontrolthecomputer
directlybyfingers.RS2200seriesinfraredtouchscreensupports2touch.
2.1 Howinfraredtouchscreenworks
IRTOUHCinfraredtouchscreenusesakindoftechnologybasedonopticalblockinginductiondetectionand
locationsystem.Theinfraredtouchscreenissurroundedbyclosedarrangementofinfraredemissionandreceiver
tubearrays.Theinfraredemissiontubesemitinfraredlightsoadenselightnetisformedontheglasssurface.The
infraredreceivertubesreceiveinfraredlightemittedbythecorrespondinginfraredemissiontubes.Whenuser
touchestheglasssurface,theinfraredemit‐ receivelightpathisblocked,whichcanbeusedtocalculatethe
locationofthetouchingpoint.



Step1:Double‐clickdriverinstallation“Setup_IRTOUCH_USB.exe”,interfaceintothedriverinstallation;
Notes:IfyourcomputersystemisWindowsVistaorWindows7,pleaserightclick“Setup_IRTOUCH_USB.exe”and
choose“RunasAdministrator”.

Step2:Thedefaultinstallationpathofthedriveris“C：\ProgramFiles\TouchScreen\Infrared\USB”,youcanclick
“Change…”toselectanotherinstallationpath,andthenclick“Next”,asshownin:

Step3:Driverinstallationiscomplete,click“Finish”toclosethewizard,asshownin:

Tips:Somesystemsecuritysoftwaremaypromptwhethertodisablethedriver,pleasechoose“No”.
Step4:PlugtheendoftheUSBconnectinglinetotheUSBportofthecomputer,thentoolbaratthelowerright
cornerofthecomputerprompts:”FoundNewHardware”,asshowninthefollowingfigure.Thenewhardwareis
installedandreadytouse:

Notes:Nowthedriverhasbeeninstalledtoyourcomputer,systemwillautomaticallyretrievethedriver.Butitis
suggestedthatyourestartyourcomputerandpleasewait5secondsbeforeyouusethewhiteboard.Andmoreover,
somecomputersneedtotakethefollowingstepstofindthenewdriver.
Step5:Inthepop‐up“FoundNewHardwareWizard”window,choose“No,notthistime”,andthenclick“Next”to
continue,asshownin:


3.3.2 SilentInstallation
Step1：Follow“Start”‐“Run”andinput“cmd”toenterDOSoperatingenvironment.
Step2：Inputthedriverinstallationpackagefolder’spath,andthenclick“Enter”.
Step3：Runcommandline:“setup.exe/s”(“setup.exe”isthenameofthedriverinstaller)andclick“Enter”to
installthedriver.
3.4 TouchscreenConnection
Connectthetouchscreenlead‐outwiretothePCorothersupporter,andthenconnectthepowersupply.
3.5 BegintoUse
Select“MouseEmulation”mode,thencheck“EnableTouch”,“EnableRightClick”,“Enablesmoothness”in
“Options”.Whetherchecking“HideCursor”or“EnableBeep”dependsonyouractualconditions.

3.5.1 ParametersSetting
1. TouchSensitivitySettings
Throughtouchsensitivitysettings,youcansetacertaintimeandscopeforthefingers’liftinganddroppingwhen
touching.Ingeneral,“Delay”issetto300ms(0.3second),“Area”issetto8mm.
2. RightClickSettings
Clickandpressonanyareaofthescreenforawhile,thentheright‐clickpop‐upmenuwillappear.Thisfunctionis
onlyavailablein“MouseEmulation”mode.Ingeneral,“Delay”issetto1000ms(1second),“Area”issetto8mm.
3. SmoothnessSettings
Youcandragtheslidertoadjustthevalueofthesmoothness,from0to12.Thehighervalueofthesmoothness,
thebettereffectofwritingordrawing,butthehigherrequirementofthecomputersystemconfiguration.The
lowervalueofthesmoothness,thefasterofwritingordrawing.Itisrecommendedthatyouusethedefault
setting(thevaluesetto12).
3.6 Uninstallation
3.6.1 CommonUninstallation
Step1：Click“ControlPanel”‐“AddorRemovePrograms”,select“USBTouchScreenDriver”fromthelist,thenclick
“Remove”buttontouninstallthedriver,asshownin:

MODIFICATIONSTOTHISEQUIPMENT.SUCHMODIFICATIONSCOULDVOIDTHEUSERAUTHORITY

canradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructio
ns,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethat
interferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmful
interferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoff
andon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowing

—Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
—Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.

connected.
