Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your device, please check the following:
1. Make sure the unit is plugged in properly and turned on via the ON/OFF switch on
the back.
2. Make sure the wall outlet to which the power cable is connected is an active outlet that
is working properly.
3. Make sure that the ozone plates are clean and dry without any cracks. Ozone plates
generally need to be cleaned about once a month. Environmental factors such as pet
dander, cigarette smoke, etc., can aect the duration of ozone output. It’s optimal to
replace the ozone plates once every six months. Clean or change your ozone plates
more often if ozone output is weak. Follow these steps to check your ozone plates:
a. Make sure the ozone air purifier is o and disconnected from the
power supply.
b. Flip the unit over so the handle is on the bottom. You will see two
screws toward the front plate of the device. Remove those two
screws with a Philips-head screwdriver.
c. Remove the bottom plate. You should see a piece of white plastic
material with a black honeycomb pattern on it, held in place by a
black clip at the top. Press back on the clip until it releases the
plate and you can pull the white plastic ozone plate toward you
without bending it.

3. Turn the timer knob clockwise to set the timer for up to 60 minutes. Please refer to the
table below for a general guideline about operation time in relation to room size.
NOTE: For very large spaces, you can press the red HOLD button to make the unit run
indefinitely. Please note the unit is designed to operate in unoccupied spaces only. If you
set the red HOLD button, the unit will continue operating until someone quickly comes in,
turns it o, and then leaves the space again.
4. As soon as you set the timer, the machine will begin generating ozone. Leave the
room immediately.
5. Wait for the timer to run out and the machine will automatically deactivate. If the HOLD
override is in operation, wait for someone to deactivate the unit.
6. Once the machine is deactivated, wait at least another hour before re-entering the room,
so the ozone molecules have enough time to revert to oxygen molecules.
7. Enter your room after at least an hour and enjoy the fresh, clean air! (Please note, a slight
“electrical” odor in the air is normal; ozone has its own distinctive scent that will fade.)
