Warranty
IVT tools are intended only for do-it-yourself activities. We
guarantee that IVT tools are in accordance with statutory/
country-specic regulations (proof of purchase by invoice or
delivery note). The warranty is not valid for consumables and
accessories which partly belong to the scope of supplies.
The warranty cannot be invoked in the following cases:
1. normal wear of mechanisms and components which have a
limited life;
2. maintenance and replacement of hardware parts that wears
quickly (carbon brushes, cutting tools, gearwheels);
3. overloads or loads which are too extensive and may lead
to: simultaneous failure of one or more hardware parts which•
are functionally connected with the system;
burning, charring, melting due to excessive internal•
temperatures of the hardware (heating elements, switches,
wiring, housings);
4. mechanical damage or presence of foreign objects in the
tool;
5. commercial use;
6. use of purposes not mentioned in this instruction manual;
7. dismantling and repair work not carried out by IVT
specialist.
8. defects in the tool caused by improper use, inappropriate
operatingormaintenanceprocedures,any use not in accordance
with the printed material provided, abnormal environmental or
electric conditions.
Gewährleistung
Die IVT Geräte sind nur für das Haushaltarbeit vorbestimmt.
Benutzer muss die Bedienungsanleitung für die Geräte der
Firma. IVT ist eine Gewährleistung entsprechend den Gesetzen
und spezischen Besonderheiten jedes Landes vorgesehen (die
Faktura oder der Abgabeschein gilt als einen Beweis des Kaufs).
Diese Gewährleistung ist nicht für Verbrauchsmaterialien und
Zubehör geeignet, die teilweise in den Lieferumfang enthalten
sind.
Garantie gilt nicht bei den nächsten Fällen:
1. bei dem Langzeitverschleiß der Mechanismen und Bauteile,
die begrenzte Leistungsfähigkeitsperiode haben;
2. bei der Vorbeugung und dem Einsatz der Verschleißteile
(Kohlebürsten, Zahnräder);
3. bei der Überlastung und der intensiven Ausnutzung, deren
Folgen sind:
gleichzeitiges Versagen von einem oder mehreren•
funktionell verbundenen Bauteilen oder Baugruppen
Verbrennen, Verkohlung, Nachschmelzen unter der hohen•
Temperatur der Bauteile (Heizkörper, Schalter, Leitungsdraht,
Gehäuse);
4. wenn mechanische Fehler, Fremdkörpern gefunden sind;
5. wenn das Werkzeug mit dem Produktions- und Industieziel
ausgenutzt worden ist;
6. wenn das Werkzeug mit dem nicht von dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung geeignetem Ziel ausgenutzt worden ist;
7. wenn das Werkzeug nicht von den Fachleute von IVT
geönet, repariert worden ist.
8. bei der Beschädigungen des Gerätes nach
dem unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, Bedienungs- und
Betriebsordnungübertretung, bei der Nichtbefolgung
der Vorschriften, bei dem Gebrauch im abnormelen
Umweltbedienungen oder Elektrischebedienungen.

бытовых работ. Мы гарантируем, что инструменты
компании IVT соответствуют установленным в каждой
конкретной стране нормам (доказательством совершения
покупки является счет-фактура или накладная) Гарантия
не распространяется на расходные материалы и
дополнительные приспособления, входящие в объем
поставки.
Гарантия не действует в следующих случаях:
1. Обычный износ быстро изнашиваемых механизмов и
деталей;
2. Текущий ремонт и замена быстро изнашиваемых
изделий (угольные щетки, режущие детали, шестерни);
3. Перегрузка или избыточная нагрузка, ведущие к:
одновременному выходу из строя одной или нескольких•
деталей, функционально связанных с системой;
возгоранию, обугливанию, оплавлению изделий•
(нагревательные элементы, выключатели, проводка,
розетки) вследствие высоких внутренних температур;
4. Механическое повреждение, присутствие посторонних
предметов в инструменте;
5. Коммерческое использование;
6. Использование для целей, не предусмотренных
настоящей инструкцией по эксплуатации;
7. Разборка и ремонт, выполненные не специалистами IVT.
8. Повреждения инструмента в результате ненадлежащего
использования, нарушения порядка эксплуатации или
обслуживания, несоблюдения письменных указаний,
эксплуатации в аномальных условиях окружающей среды
или электрических условиях.
Кепілдік
IVT құралдары тұрмыстық жұмыстарды атқару үшін ғана

Gwarancja
Narzędzia IVT są przeznaczone tylko do użytku prywatnego.
Dla instrumentu IVT jest przewidziana gwarancja odpowiednio
do praw i specycznych właściwości każdego kraju (dowodem
spełnienia kupna jest faktura albo fracht). Gwarancja nie
rozpowszechnia się na dodatkowe materiały i narzędzia, które
częściowo wchodzą do dostarczonego kompletu.
Gwarancja nie działa w następnych wypadkach:
1. Naturalnego zniszczenia mechanizmów i węzłów, które
mają ograniczony okres przydatności do pracy;
2. Prolaktyki i zamiany szybko zniszczalnych detali (szczotki
węglowe, koła zębate);
3. Przeładunku lub wykorzystania w trybie intensywnym,
skutkiem których jest:
jednoczesne złamanie jednego lub więcej funkcjonalnie•
związanych detali oraz węzłow;
spalanie się, zwęglanie, topienie się pod wpływem•
wysokiej temperatury wewnętrznej detali (elementy
grzejne, przyciski, druty, korpusy);
4. Mechanicznych obrażeń, zaistnienia w środku przedmiotów
obcych;
5. Wykorzystania w celach wytwórczych lub przemysłowych;
6. Wykorzystania w celach, nie przewidzianych przez niniejszą
instrukcję;
7. Otwarcia, remontu, który był zrobiony nie fachowcem IVT.
8. Uszkodzenia instrumentu wskutek użycia w sposób
niewłaściwy, naruszenia sposobu eksploatacji albo obsługi,
nieprzestrzegania wskazań pisemnych, eksploatacji w
anomalnych warunkach środowiska przyrodniczego albo
warunkach elektrycznych.

Інструменты IVT прызначаныя толькі для выканання бытавых
работ. Для iнструменты IVT прадугледжана гарантыя ў
адпаведнасціззаконамііспецыфічныміасаблівасцямікожнай
краіны (доказам здзяйснення пакупкі з’яўляецца рахунак-
фактура або накладная). Гарантыя не распаўсюджваецца
на расходныя матэрыялы і прыналежнасці, якія часткова
ўваходзяць у камплект пастаўкі.
Гарантыя не дзейнічае ў наступных выпадках:
1. натуральнага зносу механізмаў і вузлоў, якія маюць
абмежаваны перыяд працаздольнасці;
2. прафілактыкі і замены быстразношваючыхся дэталяў
(вугальныя шчоткі, шасцярня);
3. перагрузкі або інтэнсіўнага выкарыстання, вынікам якіх
з’яўляюцца:
адначасовы выхад са строю аднаго або больш•
функцыянальна звязаных дэталяў і вузлоў;
згарання, асмальвання, аплаўлення пад уздзеяннем•
высокай унутранай тэмпературы дэталяў (награвальныя
элементы, кнопкі, правады, корпусы);
4. механічных пашкоджанняў, наяўнасці ўнутры
іншародных прадметаў;
5. выкарыстання ў вытворчых або прамысловых мэтах;
6. выкарыстання ў мэтах, не прадугледжаных дадзенай
інструкцыяй;
7. раскрыцця, рамонту, які быў зроблены не спецыялістамі
IVT
8. Пашкоджанні інструмента ў выніку неналежнага
выкарыстання, парушэнні парадку эксплуатацыі або
абслугоўвання, невыканання пісьмовых указанняў,
эксплуатацыі ў анамальных умовах навакольнага асяроддзя
або электрычных умовах.
Гарантія
Інструменти IVT призначені тільки для виконання побутових
робіт. Для електроінструмента IVT передбачена гарантія
відповідно до законів і специфічні особливості кожної
країни. Підтвердженням є гарантійний талон!
Гарантія не поширюється на витратні матеріали та приладдя,
які частково входять в комплект поставки.
Гарантійне обслуговування не здійснюється у випадках:
1. Природного зносу механізмів та вузлів, що мають
обмежений період працездатності;
2. Профілактики і заміни швидкозношуваних деталей
(вугільні щітки, шестірні);
3. Перевантаження або інтенсивного використання,
наслідком яких є:
одночасний вихід з ладу одного або більше•
функціонально пов’язаних деталей і вузлів;
згоряння, обвуглювання, розплавлення під впливом•
високої внутрішньої температури деталей (нагрівальні
елементи, кнопки, проводи, корпуси);
4. механічних пошкоджень, наявності всередині сторонніх
предметів;
5. використання у виробничих або промислових цілях;
6. використання в цілях, не передбачених цією
інструкцією;
7. розтину, ремонту, який був зроблений не фахівцями IVT.
8. Пошкодження інструменту в результаті неналежного
використання, порушення порядку експлуатації або
обслуговування, недотримання письмових вказівок,
експлуатації в аномальних умовах навколишнього
середовища або електричних умовах.
Garanzia
Gli strumenti IVT sono progettati per il solo utilizzo hobbistico
e per il fai-da-te. Il team IVT garantisce che i nostri prodotti
sono conformi ai regolamenti specici per i Paesi in cui sono
commercializzati (a prova dell’acquisto è necessaria la fattura
o la bolla di consegna). La garanzia non è valida per i beni di
consumo che fanno parte del campo degli accessori.
La garanzia non può essere rivendicata nei seguenti casi:
1. normale usura dei meccanismi e degli assemblaggi, che
hanno una vita limitata;
2. per la manutenzione o la sostituzione di parti di consumo
(spazzole al carbonio, utensili da taglio, ruote dentate);
3. picchi di tensione che possono indurre a:
simultanea rottura di una o più parti dei componenti•
collegati con il sistema;
carbonizzazione, fusione a causa di eccessive temperature•
interne al motore (elementi termici, interruttori, cavi, custodie);
4. danni meccanici dovuti alla presenza di oggetti estranei
inseriti nell’apparecchio;
5. uso commerciale;
6. usi e scopi non menzionati in questo manuale di istruzioni;
7. disassemblaggio e lavori di riparazione non eettuati dal
servizio assistenza IVT.
8. difetti allo strumento riconducibili a un uso improprio,
inosservanza delle istruzioni operative o di manutenzione,
qualsiasi impiego non conforme con il materiale stampato
fornito o un utilizzo in anomale condizioni elettriche o
ambientali.

Záruka
IVT nástroje sú určené len pre domáce použitie. Zaručujeme,
že nástroje spoločnosti IVT vyhovujú určitým v každej krajine
štandardom (dokladom o kúpe je faktúra alebo dodací list).
Táto záruka sa nevzťahuje na spotrebný materiál a dodatočné
príslušenstvo, ktoré je súčasťou dodávky.
Záruka sa nevzťahuje v týchto prípadoch:
1. Bežné opotrebenie rýchlo opotrebených mechanizmov a
detailov;
2. Bežné opravy a výmeny rýchlo opotrebených výrobkov
(uhlíky, ostré časti, prevodovky);
3. Preťaženie alebo nadmerné zaťaženie, čo vedie k:
súčasnému zlyhaniu jedného alebo viacerých častí, ktoré sú•
funkčne spojené so systémom;
zapaľovaniu, ohraňovaniu, topeniu výrobkov (vykurovacie•
telesá, spínače, elektrická inštalácia, zásuvky) v dôsledku
vysokých vnútorných teplôt;
4. Mechanické poškodenie, prítomnosť cudzích predmetov v
nástroji;
5. Komerčné použitie;
6. Použitie na iné účely, než ktoré sú popísané v tomto návode
na prevádzku;
7. Demontáž a oprava vykonané nie odborníkmi IVT.
8. Poškodenie nástroja v dôsledku nesprávneho používania,
porušenie poriadku prevádzky a údržby, nedodržanie
písomných pokynov, prevádzka za abnormálnych podmienok
životného prostredia alebo elektrickej podmienky.
Garanţia
Instrumente de IVT sunt destinate numai pentru uz rezidential.
Vă garantăm că instrumentele companiei IVT corespund
standardelor ecărei ţări (drept dovadă de procurare serveşte
factura sau foaia de însoţire). Garanţia nu se aplică pentru
materialele consumabile şi dispozitivele suplimentare incluse în
volumul de livrare.
Garanţia nu se aplică în următoarele cazuri:
1. Uzura obişnuită a mecanismelor şi pieselor rapid uzurabile;
2. Reparaţia curentă şi schimbarea pieselor rapid uzurabile
(perii de carbon, piese de tăiere sau roţi zimţate);
3. Supraîncărcarea sau încărcarea excesivă, care conduc la:
defectarea simultană a unei sau a mai multor piese care•
funcţional sunt legate de sistem;
incendierea, carbonizarea, topirea produselor (elemente•
de încălzire, întrerupătoare, cablu, prize) ca rezultat al
temperaturilor interne ridicate;
4. Defecţiuni mecanice, prezenţa obiectelor străine în
instrument;
5. Utilizarea comercială;
6. Utilizarea în alte scopuri decât cele descrise în acest manual
de exploatare;
7. Dezasamblarea şi reparaţia efectuate de alţi specialişti decât
cei ai companiei IVT.
8. Deteriorarea instrumentului, ca urmare a abuzului, încălcare
a ordinii de funcţionare, întreţinere sau, non-instrucţiuni scrise,
care funcţionează în condiţii anormale, de mediu sau condiţiile
de funcţionare electrice.

IVT nástroje jsou určeny pouze pro domácí použití. Zaručujeme,
že nástroje společnosti IVT souhlasí stanoveným v každé
konkrétní zemi normám (kontrola a nákup se provádí na základě
faktury a výdejky). Záruka se nevztahuje na spotřební materiál a
přídavné příslušenství které jsou součástí dodávky.
Záruční podmínky neplatí v následujících případech:

požáru, spékání, tavení díky vysoké vnitřní teplotě výrobků•
(topná tělesa, spínače, kabeláž, zásuvky);
mechanické poškození, přítomnost cizích předmětů uvnitř4.

Komerční využití;5. Použití pro účely neuvedené v tomto návodu k použití;6. Rozebírání a opravy, provedené ne odborníky IVT.7. Poruchy nástroje v důsledku neodpovídajícího využívání,8.
narušení provozu, nebo služby, nedodržení písemných předpisů,
provozu v anomálních podmínkách okolního prostředí, nebo
elektrických podmínkách.

Инструментите ITV са предназначени само за работи,
свързани с бита. Ние гарантираме, че инструменти на фирма
IVT отговарят на установените във всяка конкретна страна
норми (проверката и закупуването стават на основание на
фактура и на товарителница).
Гаранцията не се отнася за разходните материали и
допълнителните приспособления, включени в обема на
доставката.
Условията на гаранцията не се прилагат в следните случаи:
1. Нормално износване на бързо износващи се механизми
и детайли;
2. Текущ ремонт и подмяна на бързо износващи се

This model of Jig saw is intended for the sawing of wood, plastic
and aluminum materials.
Thanks to the wide range of accessories and saw blades available
as optional extra, this machine can be used for many applications
and it enables also to obtain curved or circular cuts.

Inspect the entire tool to look for loose parts (e.g. nuts, bolts,•
screws, etc.) and for any damage. Check at frequent intervals if
screws and bolts (if present) are properly tight to be sure the
equipment is in safe working condition. Repair or replace them,
if necessary, before using the tool. Serious injury to the operator
and to the bystanders could result if there’s any damage to the
tool.
While using the tool, dress properly. Do not wear loose•
clothing or jewellery that could become caught by the tool.
Wear suitable working clothes. It is recommended that legs and
feet are covered, to protect them from eventual ying debris.
Do not work barefoot or wearing open sandals. Long air should
be tided back.
Keep handles and grips dry, clean and free from oil and•
grease.
Use proper protective equipment. Use safety glasses•
and safety gloves. Also use a dust mask during pulverulent
operations or if exhaust gases are present. When necessary, use
also non-slipping boots or shoes, hardhat and earplugs. If the
noise level exceeds 85 dB(A), ear protection is obligatory.
WARNING
Use personal protective equipment! Safety devices and
personal protective equipment protect your own health and
the health of others and ensure a trouble-free operation of
the tool.
Do not start to use the tool if it is in an inverted position or it•
is not in the right working order.
Ensure that you have a good stand, while you operate with•
the tool. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries. Before•
use, all foreign bodies must be removed from the working area,
also pay attention to foreign objects during the operation.
Do not force the tool.•
Only work in daylight or suciently good articial light.•
Never operate the tool without good visibility.
Be careful not to drop the tool or hit it against obstacles.•

Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Distraction can cause
you to lose control. Use common sense.
Electrical safety rules
ATTENTION
When using electrical tools, the following safety instructions
should be observed to prevent the risk of electric shock,
personal injury and re. Read and observe these instructions
carefully before using the tool.
It is recommended for increased electrical safety to use•
a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a tripping current of not
more than 30 mA. Always check your RCD every time you use it.
Consult a reliable electrician.
WARNING
The use of an RCD or other circuit breaker unit does not
release the operator from the safety instructions and safe
working practices given in this manual.
The main voltage must correspond to the one marked•
on the labels and on this manual. Do not use other sources of
power.
Before inserting the plug in the main socket, make sure that•
the socket ratings are correct and correspond to those indicated
on the rating label on the appliance.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes,•
radiators, ranges and refrigerators. This increases risk of electric
shock if your body is grounded.
CAUTION
Touching electried parts may cause death by electric shock
or burn.
Never move the appliance by pulling at the cables.•
Do not abuse the cord. Keep it away from heat, oil, sharp•
edges or moving parts.
Always guide the connection line safely.•
Do not use power tools near ammable liquids or gases.•
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply•
before transporting it to other places.
CAUTION
The appliance should always be switched o at the mains
before disconnecting any plug and socket connector or
extension cables.
Never pass the appliance over the extension cable while the•
tool is working. Make sure you always know where the cable is.
Do not wire an extension cable directly into your device•
yourself. Instead, take the device to your nearest authorized
Service Centre.
To avoid danger, damaged power cord should be replaced•
by manufacturer or its agent, or similar qualied person.
Immediately unplug the tool when its cable is damaged or•
cut.
ATTENTION
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Consider working area
environment. Do not expose power tools to rain. Do not use
power tools in damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit
and dry. Try to prevent the device from getting wet or being
exposed to humidity. Do not leave it outside overnight. Water
entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
The power supply cable should be checked regularly and,•
before using it, make sure the cable is not damaged or worn out.
If the cable is not in good condition, do not use the appliance;
take it to an authorized service centre.
When tool is used outdoor, only use an extension cable that•
is suitable for outdoor use and which is marked for this specic
use. Keep it away from the working area, from damp, wet or oily
surfaces and away from heat and ammable materials.
Avoid any accidental starting: make sure that the power•
switch (if present) is in the o position, before plugging the
tool in.

Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning the tool•
on.
Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn the tool on•
or o. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
WARNING
During the use of power tools, some dust containing chemicals
known to cause cancer, may occur. Some of these chemicals are:
lead from lead based paints, crystalline silica from bricks and
cement and other masonry products, arsenic and chromium
from chemically treated lumber and other dangerous products. If
dust is present, your risk from these exposures varies, depending
on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure
to these chemicals, any time you do pulverulent operations,
work in a well ventilated area and work with approved safety
equipment, such as dust masks that are specially designed to
lter out microscopic particles.
If the appliance strikes a foreign body, examine the device•
for signs of damage and carry out any necessary repairs before
restarting and continuing to work.
If the appliance starts to vibrate abnormally, turn it o•
and check for the cause immediately. Vibration is generally a
warning of trouble.
Always switch o the appliance and wait until the device•
completely stops whenever you leave the machine, before
carrying out maintenance, before checking, cleaning or working
on the appliance.
It is forbidden to move or modify any of the internal parts•
of the device.
Specic safety rules
Never cut materials containing asbestos because they may•
generate dust dangerous to your health.
To reduce your exposure to harmful chemicals that may be•
content in materials you’re working on: work in a well ventilated
area and work with approved safety equipment, such as dust
masks that are specially designed to lter out microscopic
particles. Connect a dust extraction device to the tool.
Use clamps or other practical way to secure and support•
the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the work by hand
or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
Don’t work on any workpiece that is too small to clamp in place.
Never cut or saw in concealed areas where there may be•
electric gas, or water lines. Use a suitable detector to nd such
lines.
Keep the cutting path free of obstacles, both above and•
below.
Be aware of the location and setting of the lock-on button. If•
the switch is locked“ON”during the use, be ready for emergency
situations to switch it“OFF”, by rst pulling the on-o switch then
immediately releasing it without pressing the lock-on button.
The base plate must rest securely on its entire surface.•
When working, never move your hand or nger ahead of•
the saw blade.
Tool can chatter or vibrate if blade speed is too slow at•
beginning of cut and possibly kickback.
Always pull out the mains plug before changing the saw•
blade and/or adjusting the base plate.
Use only sharp, awless saw blades. Replace immediately•
cracked, bent or dull cutting tools.
The saw blade must be locked in its mount absolutely•
securely. Check every time it is securely seated.
When removing the saw blade from the tool avoid contact•
with skin and use proper protective gloves.
After switching o, do not force the saw blade to a stop by•
applying side pressure.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure that all components are
included. Refer to the drawings on this manual. If any parts are
missing or broken, please call IVT assistance center.
Initial operation
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power supply voltage
must match the information quoted on the tool identication
plate.
Inserting/Replacing the saw blade
ATTENTION
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
CAUTION
Wear gloves when you change or insert a new saw blade (5).
(JS-400SG; JS-570SGP; JS-750SGP)
Use the hex key (10) to loosen both holding screws on the•
stroke rod. (JS-750SGP – x1 screw).
When inserting the saw blade (teeth in cutting direction),•
take care that the back of the saw blade rests in the groove of
the guide roller (6).
Tighten holding screws again.The shafts of all conventional•
saw blades t in the universal saw blade holder. [F1]
(JS-800SGP)
Thismodelofjigsawis equipped with a quick-releasemechanism
for a faster and easier change of the saw blade (5).
Lift up the lifting rod (14) of the quick-release mechanism.•
Insert the saw blade (5) with the teeth of the blade pointing•
in the cutting direction, until it reaches the stop position.
Pull down the lifting rod (14) to lock the saw blade (5) rmly•
in position. [F1]

Stroke rate selection
(JS-570SGP; JS-750SGP; JS-800SGP)
With the tumbwheel (1), the required stroke rate can be selected
(also while running). [F3]
1-2 = low stroke rate
3-4 = medium stroke rate
5-6 = high stroke rate
Light pressure on the on/o switch (2) means low stroke-•
rate.
Increasing pressure on the on/o switch (2) results in higher•
stroke-rate.
Dust extraction
Dust extraction prevents large accumulations of
dust, high concentration of dust in the ambient air
and facilitates disposal.
For long periods of working with wood or for commercial use
on materials that produce dust that is detrimental to health,
the machine is to be connected to a suitable external dust
extraction device.
Pendulum action setting
(JS-570SGP; JS-750SGP; JS-800SGP)
The saw blade pendulum action that is adjustable in four steps,
makes possible the optimal adaptation of sawing advancing
(cutting speed), cutting performance and cut appearance of
the machined material.
For each downward movement, the saw blade is lifted o
the material, which facilitates sawdust ejection, reduces heat
generated by friction and increases the service life of the
saw blade. At the same time, the reduction of the necessary
advancing force provides fatigue-free working.
The lever for pendulum stroke adjustment (7) makes possible the
adjustment of the pendulum action in four steps. The switching
can take place with the machine running: [F4]
Step 0: No pendulum action;
Step 1: Small pendulum action;
Step 2: Medium pendulum action;
Step 3: Large pendulum action;
The following basic recommendations are to be observed:
The smaller the pendulum step selected (or switched• o),
the ner and cleaner the cut edge;
When working with thin materials, like metal sheet,the•
pendulum action should be switched o (Step 0);
Materials such as soft wood cut in the direction of the grain,•
should be cut with the maximum pendulum action setting (Step
3).
Operating instructions
Sawing
Before sawing, make sure that the saw blade (5) is seated•
correctly and put the front guard (4) down as far as possible.
The base plate (8) of the jig saw must lie securely on its•
entire surface.
Do not force the saw; this cause the saw blade (5) to•
overheat and bend and/or break.
If material to be cut is thin, place it on an additional board/•
plate to dampen vibrations and improve cutting.
For long cuts, lubricate the guide roller (6) now and then•
with a few drops of oil and let the machine cool down.
Wait until the saw blade (5) has come to a standstill before•
you put the device down.
Cutting angle adjustment
(JS-400SG; JS-570SGP; JS-800SGP)
To set the saw for bevel and angled cutting, undo the•
holding screws of the saw base with the hex key and push the
base back out of its rest position.
Set the cutting angle by angling the base to the right or to•
the left.
Tighten rmly both holding-screws. [F5]•
(JS-750 SGP)
Loosen the holding screw of the base plate with the hex•
key
Pull the locking lever (13).•
Rotate the base plate (8) and set the desired angle of the•
base by using markings on a scale.
Pull out the locking lever (13).•
Laser guide
(JS-800SGP)
For precision cutting, this jig saw is equipped with a switchable
laser guide. It projects an easily visible line in the direction of
the cut so that you can take a bearing at exactly one point.
This signal beam makes a perfectly straight cut possible even
without a guide. Switch on using the laser guide button (15) on

the front.
Plunge sawing
ATTENTION
Only soft materials such as wood, aerate concrete, plaster
board, etc may be worked with the plunge method.
Cut-outs in wood are possible without predrilling by piercing
with the running machine. This requires certain amount of
practice, however, and is possible only with short saw blades.
Place the front edge of the base plate on the workpiece and•
switch on.
Press the machine rmly against the workpiece and plunge•
the saw blade slowly into the workpiece.
After reaching the required cutting depth, bring the•
machine again to the normal working position so that the
complete surface of the base plate rests on the workpiece and
continue to saw along the cutting line. [F6]
After completing the cut, rst switch «o» the machine an•
then pull it out of the cut.
Circle cutting (circle cutting guide not included)
[F7]
Mark the circle which will be cut and drill the opening in•
its centre.
If the cutting does not start from the edge of the material,•
drill the opening from which the cutting will start.
Mount the circular guide on the machine.•
Slide the circular guide in order to determine the radius of•
cutting and lock it using the locking screws (11).
Place the aligning pin in the central opening and start the•
cutting by moving the device over the circle.
In order to get the optimal results it is recommended to use
the narrow blades.
Maintenance and storage
CAUTION
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if present)•
cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the appliance
will ensure eciency and prolong the life of your tool.
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous manufacturing•
and testing procedures, the repair should be carried out by an
authorized IVT customer service.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the tool is in•
safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.•
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced by•
manufacturer may cause poor t and possible injury.
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and away•
from any ammable material.
Never wet the device or spray water on it!•
Use a damp cloth to clean the plastic elements. Do not use•
any cleansers, solvents, or pointed objects.
Regularly clean any dust that is stuck to the ventilation slots•
(9) and moving parts with a soft brush or a paint brush.
Oil the saw blade guide roller (6) regularly.•
Environmental protection
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste.
Tool, accessories and packaging should be sorted for
environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper manufactured
without chlorine.

Allgemeine Sicherheitsregeln
Folgende Weisungen der Unfallverhütungstechnik werden
Benutzer richtig das Gerät anwenden helfen und ihre eigene
Sicherheit gewährleisten. Deshalb ist es notwendig, sie
aufmerksam zu lesen. Im Fall der Übergabe des Geräts für
Drittperson soll man die gegenwärtigen Anweisungen über die
Unfallverhütungstechnik übergebe.
Erhalten Sie eine gegebene Anweisung und andere Literatur, die
im Satz der Lieferung eingeht.
Folgen Sie Unfallverhütungstechnik und Mahnungen auf dem
Gerät. Vordem Anfang von Arbeiten machen Sie sich Bekannt
mit Kontrollelementen und Behandlungsregelung des Geräts,
Lernen Sie, wie man Gerät in Notfall aufhört.
Einhalten dieser einfachen Anweisungen hilft Ihren Geräht in
gutem Zustand unterstützen.
Vor demWerkzeuggebrauch ist es nötig das Gerät richtig zu•
montieren.
Gebrauchen Sie das Geräht nur nanch seiner Bestimmung.•
Erlernen Sie die Warnungsaufschriften auf dem Gerät, folgen•
Sie den Hinweisen nach der Nutzung der Schutzvorrichtungen.
Die Unfälle können durch die Aufmerksamkeit, vernünftiges

Lassen Sie das Gerät ohne Aufsicht nicht.•
Lassen Sie nicht zu, damit die Kinder und der Tiere sich auf•
dem Arbeitsgrundstück nicht benden. Erlauben Sie zu den
Kindern nicht, mit Gerät zu spielen.
Hindern Sie, in der Nähe von den Kindern und Tieren zu•
nden. Unbefugten sollen in einer sicheren Entfernung von
Arbeitseinfall sein. Hören Sie Arbeit auf, wenn in der Nähe es
anderen Leute, in besonderen Kindern, oder Tieren gibt.

Personen, die nicht bekannt mit Anweisungshandbüchern•
gemacht, Kinder, Minderjährige, die der erlaubtende

Personen, die sich in Zustand des Geistes oder rauschgift-
suchterzeugender Intoxikation, oder durch die Tätigkeit von
medizinischen Pillen niederläßt, wird nicht erlaubt, mit Einfall zu
arbeiten. Alter des Arbeiters wird in lokalen normativen Taten
installiert.

ACHTUNG
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie Alkohol, Medikamente
und Drogen eingenommen haben, als auch Sie krank,
müde sind oder Fiber haben. Ihre Reaktion kann sich
verschlechtern.
Überzeugen Sie sich, dass alle Schutzvorrichtungen (bei•
Vorhandensein) installiert und funkzionsfähig sind.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät ohne Schutzvorrichtungen (bei•
Vorhandensein) nicht oder falls diese beschaedigt sind.
Schauen Sie das Gerät für die losen Details (der Mütter,•
Bolzen, Schrauben usw.) oder die Beschädigungen an.Um
eine sichere Arbeit des Gerätes zu gewährleisten, prüfen Sie
ab und zu, ob die Bolzen und Schrauben gut festgezogen
sind. Falls notwendig, reparieren Sie diese vor der Nutzung
des Gerätes oder ersetzen die durch die neuen. Im Falle der
Nutzung des beschädigten Gerätes kann der Operator oder die
nebensächlichen Personen schwer verletzt werden.
Für die Arbeit benutzen Sie entsprechende Berufskleidung.•
Die geräumige Kleidung, Schmuck können von den sich
bewegenden Teilen festgezogen sein. Gebrauchen Sie
entspechende Berufskleidung. Schützen Sie die Beine und
Fußsohlen vor dem auseinanderiegenden Müll. Arbeiten Sie
barfuß oder in geonete Sandalien nicht. Sammeln Sie das
lange Haar hinten.
Enthalten Sie die Grie in der Sauberkeit und Trockenheit.•
Benutzen Sie die entsprechenden Schutzvorrichtungen.•
Benutzen Sie die Schutzbrille und Schutzhandschuhe. Bei der
Arbeit mit den Pulvern oder bei den Abgaseausstößen benutzen
Sie die Atemschutzmaske. Notwendigerweise ziehen Sie nicht
glitschige Schuhe, den Helm und die Ohrenstöpseln an. Wenn
das Niveau des Lärms 85 dB (A) übertritt, verwenden Sie die
Schutzkopfhörer unbedingt.
ACHTUNG
Verwenden Sie die Arbeitsschutzmittel! Schutzvorrichtungen
und individuelle Schutzmittel gewährleisten Schutz Ihrer Ge-
sundheit und Gesundheit der Leute, die nahe, ebensogut wie
störungsfreier Arbeit des Gerätes legen, werden garantiert.
Fangen Sie das Gerät nicht an, wenn es nach oben gerichtet•
ist oder es in nicht Betriebsbedingung ist.
Bewahren Sie eine unveränderliche Stellung. Bewahren Sie•
das Gleichgewicht ständig.
Vor dem Gebrauch des Geräts räumen Sie von•
Arbeitsplattform alle fremde Gegenstände weg, vermeiden
Sie Treen unter. Halten Sie ihr Arbeitsplatz sauber. Auf
den übergeladenen Abreitsplätzen wird das hohe Niveau
Traumatismus beobachtet.
Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht.•
Gebrauchen Sie das Gerät nur am Tag oder bei gutem•
künstlichen Erläuterung. Benutzen Sie das Gerät bei schlechten
Sichtverhältnissen nicht.
Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht fallen, lassen Sie den•
Zusammenstoß des Gerätes mit irgendwelchen Hindernissen
nicht zu.
VORSICHT
Seien Sie aufmerksam. Beobachten Sie ihre Arbeit, beim
Ablenken kann man die Führung verlieren. Sie kommen zur
Arbeit vernunftmäßig heran.
Elektirsche Sicherheitsregeln
ACHTUNG
Mit dem Ziel der Verhinderung des Schlages durch
elektrischen Strom, Verursachen des persönlichen Schadens
oder bei dem Gebrauch von Electrowerkzeuge ist es nötig
nächste Vorschriften über Sicherheitsregeln zu beachten. Vor
dem Werkzeuggebrauch lesen Sie und beachten Sie genau
gegebene Anweisungen.
Um die Sicherheitsneveau zu steigern, es wird empfohlen•
den Fehlerstromschalter zu benutzen (RCD), ausgerechnet für
das Abschaltstrom nicht mehr als 30 mA. Kontrollieren Sie den
RCD bei jeder Benutzung.Wenden Sie sich an den qualiezierten
Elektriker.
ACHTUNG
Gebrauch von RCD, oder von anderem Unterbrecher befreit
den Arbeiter des Rasenmähers von obligatorischem Mitteilen
mit Sicherheitsvorkehrungsregelungen und den Aufnahmen
der sicheren in gegebener Anweisung angegebenen Arbeit
nicht.
Netzanstrengung soll dem auf dem Schild oder dem•
Aufkleber angegebenen Wert entsprechen. Gebrauchen Sie
anderen Stromversorgungseinrichtungen nicht.
Vor Verbindung des Geräts zum Netzwerk überzeugen•
Sie sich, dass die Fassung auf dem Einfallt eller angegebene
Gegebenheiten entspricht.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit den geerdeten Oberächen•
(Rohre, Heizkörper, Batterien und Kühlapparaten). Bei der
Erdung durch den Körper wird das Risiko des Schlages vom
Strom erhöht.
VORSICHT
Zur Vermeidung der Brandwunde oder der Niederlage vom
Strom rühren Sie die elektrodurchführenden Details nicht an.
Ziehen Sie Kabel an Gerätsbewegen nicht.•
Verwenden Sie die Schnur vorsichtig. Bewahren Sie Schnur•
von der Einwirkung der Wärme, vermeiden Sie deren Kontakt
mit den Schmierstoen, sowie den scharfen Gegenständen
oder den sich bewegenden Teilen.
Seid Sie vorsichtig mit der Schnur.•
Verwenden Sie die Elektroinstrumente in der Nähe von•
den feuergefährlichen Flüssigkeiten und der brennbaren Gase
nicht.
Vordem das Gerät an anderen Platz zu übergeben, schalten•
Sie es von Netzwerk aus.
VORSICHT
Das Gerät ist notwendig zuerst auszuschalten, und dann von

Fassung oder Verlängerungskabel zu trennen.
Drücken Sie die Verlängerungsleitung während der Arbeit•
des Gerätes nicht durch. Verlieren Sie das Kabel nicht aus den
Augen.
Schalten Sie das Verlängerungskabel direkt zu dem Gerät•
selbst nicht an. Wenden Sie sich an den nächsten oziellen
Bedienungszenrum.
Um die Gefahr bei der Netzschnurbeschädigung zu•
vermeiden, er soll beim Hersteller, dem Vertreter oder bei der
gleichartigen qualiezierten Person ersetzt werden.
Ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker aus der Steckdose aus, wenn•
das Kabel beschädigt oder eingeschnitten ist.
ACHTUNG
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR! Produktionsumgebung. Verwenden
Sie die Elektroinstrumente während des Regens nicht.
Verwenden Sie die.
Überwachen Sie die Elektroinstrumente in den feuchten und
nassen Räumen nicht. Behalten Sie den Arbeitsplatz trocken,
sichern Sie gute Beleuchtung ab. Bewahren Sie das Gerät von
der Feuchtigkeit. Lassen Sie das Gerät nachts in der oenen Luft
nicht. Beim Treen des Wassers ins Elektroinstrument wird das
Risiko des Schlages vom Strom erhöht.
Regelmäßig prüfen Sie und jedesmal vor der Nutzung•
das Kabel einer Ernährung auf das Vorhandensein der
Beschädigungen und der Merkmale des Verschleißes.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät mit dem beschädigten Kabel nicht;
wenden Sie sich an das ozielle Service-Zentrum.
Bei der Arbeit außerhalb des Raums verwenden Sie nur•
die dazu vorbestimmten Verlängerungsleitungen mit der
entsprechenden Markierung. Vermeiden Sie das Treen des
Kabels unter das Gerät, bewahren Sie es von der Feuchtigkeit,
Einwirkung der Wärme, vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit den
Schmierstoe und den feuergefährlichen Stoen.
Vermeiden Sie den zufälligen Start des Gerätes: vor dem•
Anschließen zum Netz überzeugen sich, dass sich der Schalter
(bei Vorhandensein) in der Lage «o» (ausgeschaltet) bendet.
Vor dem Einschluss des Gerätes ziehen Sie die Einstelkeile•
und die Schlüssel heraus.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät mit dem gestörten Schalter nicht.•
Das Gerät mit dem fehlerhaften Schalter stellt die Gefahr vor
und fordert die Reparatur.
ACHTUNG
Manchmal wird den Staub während der Gerätsarbeit
gebildet,den Krebserzeugenen chemischen Stoen enthalten
kann. Zu solchen chemischen Stoen gehoeren: Blei im Bestand
vom Bleiweiß, Quarz, der den Ziegel und den Zement bildet,
Arsen und Chrom, die im Sägeholz enthalten sind, bearbeitet
von den chemischen Reagenzien, und übrige schädliche Stoe.
Das Risiko der Einwirkung der angegebenen chemischen Stoe
hängtvonder Frequenzder mit ihnendurchfuehrendenArbeiten
ab. Um ihre schädliche Einwirkung zu verringern, arbeiten Sie
im gut lüfteten Raum und verwenden Sie die sanktionierten
Schutzvorrichtungen, zum Beispiel, Mundschutz, die für
AbltrierungdermikroskopischenTeilchenspeziellentwickelt
sind. Bewahren Sie eine unveränderliche Stellung.
Beim Treen unter das Gerät des nebensächlichen•
Gegenstandes, schauen Sie es auf das Vorhandensein der
Beschädigungen an und, falls notwendig, reparieren Sie es.
An Enstehung der übermäßigen Vibration, stoppen Sie•
sofort die Kraftmaschiene und stellen Sie Gründe klar. Vibration
ist normalerweise Zeichen der Beschädigung.
Bevor dem Verlassen des Arbeitsplatzes, Reparatur,•
Besichtigung oder Reinigung des Gerätes schalten Sie es ab und
bis zum vollen Stillstand warten.
Es wird verboten, elektrische und mechanische•
Schutzvorrichtungen zu ändern oder zu entfernen.
Sondere Sicherheitsregeln
Nie asbestenthaltende Materialien schneiden, da sie den für•
die die Gesundheit gefährlichen Staub hervorrufen können.
Um das Niveau der Einwirkung von schädlichen chemischen•
Stoen, die in zu bearbeitenden Materialien enthalten sein
können, zu reduzieren, muss man in einem gut gelüfteten Raum
arbeitenundgenehmigteSchutzmittel,solchewieStaubmasken,
die speziell für die Auslterung von mikroskopischen Teilchen
vorgesehen sind, anwenden; an die Stichsäge den Staubsauger
anschließen.
Für die Festigung des bearbeitbaren Werkstückes an•
die gefestigte Stelle sind Schraubzwingen oder sonstige
zweckmäßige Verfahren anzuwenden. Bei dem Halten des
Werkstückes mit der Hand oder bei dem Andrücken an
den Körper wird seine feste Stellung nicht gesichert, was
zum Kontrollverlust über dem Werkstück führen kann. Die
Werkstücke, die in der Arbeitsstelle wegen der sehr kleinen
Größe nicht gefestigt werden können, nicht bearbeiten.
Schneiden Sie, bohren und sägen Sie nie in den Zonen, die•
zur Kontrolle unerreichbar sind, wo sich Leistungs-, Gas- und
Wasserleitungen benden können. Um diese Leitungen nden
zu können, muss man entsprechende Spürgeräte anwenden.
Es sollen keine Hindernisse im Lauf des Schneidens, unten•
und oben des Werkstückes.
Sichmitder AnordnungunddemBetriebdesKnopfschalters,•
der den Schalter in der Stellung „EIN“ xiert, bekannt machen.
Wenn während des Betriebes der Schalter in der Stellung„AUS“
xiert ist, muss man zur Notsituation und zur unverzüglichen
Umstellung des Schalters in die Stellung „AUS“ mittels des
schnellen Drückens auf den Schalter „EIN – AUS“ und seines
unverzüglichen Freilassens ohne Drücken auf den Knopfschalter
der Fixierung der Stellung„EIN“ bereit sein.
Das Stützstück der Stichsäge soll durch die ganze Oberäche•
an das Werkstück angedrückt sein.
Bei der Arbeit die Hände oder Finger vor der Stichsägebahn•
nie anordnen.
Wenn am Anfang des Schneidens die Geschwindigkeit der•
Bahn zu langsam ist, so kann das Werkzeug attern und rattern,
und dabei ist sein Rückzug möglich.
Es ist den Gerätestecker von der Stichsäge vor dem•
Austausch der Bahn bzw. vor der Funktionskontrolle des
Stützstückes immer abzuschalten.
Es ist nur spitze und defektlose Bahnen der Stichsäge•
anzuwenden. Es ist abgerissenen, verbogene oder stumpfe
Bahnen unverzüglich auszutauschen.
