Le principe du nettoyage parultrasonsconsisteen
l’utilisationd’ondessonoresdehautefréquence(40KHz)
qu’un générateurtransmetàun transducteur.Celui-ci
lespropage mécaniquementàl’intérieurde la cuve,
produisantun effetde cavitation qui crée la formation
de millionsde microbullesàbassepression,exerçant
unnettoyagemoléculaire.
Lespièceslespluscompliquéespeuventainsiêtre
nettoyéessansêtredémontées,lacavitationpénétrant
àtoutendroitoùlasolutiondenettoyageestencontact
aveclasurface.
EQUIPMENTDESCRIPTION
Theprincipleofultrasoniccleaningconsistoftheuse
ofhighfrequencysoundwaves(40Khz)producedby
ageneratorthrough atransducer,whichpropagates
themmechanicallyinside the tank;thisproducesa
cavitationeffectwhichleadstothe formationofmillions

Complexpartscan be cleaned withoutdisassembly
sincethecavitation penetrateswhereverthecleaning
solution isin contactwiththe surface.

The cleanercan neverbe used withless than a

signalisation réseau (orange)(2)s’allumeraau
mêmemoment.
2. Une foisletempssélectionné écoulé,l’appareil
s’arrêteraautomatiquement.
3. Pourarrêterlebain,tournerdanslesensinverse
desaiguillesd’une montrejusqu’à OFF.
OBSERVATIONS
*Ne jamaissurchagerlacuve.De même,éviterde
placerdespiècestroplourdesdirectementaufond
delacuve(utiliserdespaniersprévusàceteffet).
*Ne pass’étonnerde voirleliquide prendreune
certaine températureou lapartieinférieurede la
cuvechauffer.
*Lors d’un premiernettoyaged’objetsordinairesou
d’objetsprécieux, il est indispensablede faireun
essaiavecl’unedespiècesavantdepoursuivreavec
lesautres.Nepasutiliserlebainpourlenettoyage
desperlesorganiques,carpendantlenettoyagela
chaleurestassezimportante.
*Utiliserlesproduitschimiquesde nettoyage
compatiblesavecl’appareiletlesoutilsde travail.
STARTINGUP:
1. Turnonthe disconnectingswitch-timerclockwise
(1),until the required timeisreached.Indicator
lamp(2)will light.
2. Oncechosen timeispast, the cleanerwill auto-
maticallystop.
3. Tostop the cleaner,turnon counter-clockwiseto
position OFF.
COMMENTS:
*Do notoverload the cleaner.Avoid placing heavy
instrumentsdirectlyon the bottomoftank.
*Ultrasoniccleaners createheatand the cleaning
solution will get warm. The baseof the unit may
becomevery hotin extendeduse.
*Beforecleaninganything-particularlyvaluable
items- forthe firsttime,itisworthexperimenting
withasole piecebeforecontinuing withthe oth-
ers.Organicpearlsareunsuitable forultrasonic
cleaners.
*The chemical cleaning solutionsemployed must
be compatible withwork toolsand furniture.

type del’étendueetde l’emplacementde la
salissure. Danscertainscas,lorsque lasalissure
n’estque superficielle,lenettoyage s’effectue en
quelquessecondes.Parcontre,silasalissureest
plustenace,ou s’il s’agitde rouille,lenettoyage
prendraquelquesminutes.
* Aprèsutilisation,nettoyerlebainàl’aided’unsimple
chiffonhumecté,puislefairecorrectementsécher.

Lessolutionsde nettoyage peuventêtreclasséesen
deuxgrandsgroupes:cellesàbaseaqueuseàlaquelle
on mélangeraunagentdétergent, etlesdissolvants.
Lesdétergentsquisemélangentavecdel’eaupeuvent
setrouversousformeliquideou solide.
Etantdonnésacapacitéàdissoudredenombreux
minéraux,l’eauestlemoyende nettoyageleplusutilisé.
Ellene peutpasdissoudrelesmatièresorganiques
commedesgraisses, leshuilesetlacire; cependant,
l’eausertdemoyendetransportauxagentsdétergents
quiagirontsurcessolides.
L’eau agitégalementcommemoyen de dispersion sur
lesmatièresorganiques,sanspourautantlesdissoudre
maisen lesmaintenantsen suspension.
Danslaplupart descas,et notamment lorsqu’il n’ya
pasde dépôtsimportantsde graisseou d’huile,il est
possibled’utiliserundétergentliquidedomestiquepour
lenettoyage.
Lorsquel’ampleuretlanaturedelasalissuresonttelles
quelessolutionsaqueusesneparviennentpas,ou que
trèslentement àladissoudre, utiliserdesdissolvants
ayantl’avantage de posséderun excellentpouvoirde
dissolution descires,desgraissesethuiles.
*Corrosivesolventsmustbeavoided.Whenclean-
ing fragile objectsandforvaluable items,aclean-
ingsolventrecommendedbythemanufacturermust
be used.
*Thetimenecessarytoclean eachobjectdepends
on the type,quantityand location ofthe dirttobe
removed.Inthe caseofsuperficial dirt, onlyafew
secondsmaybe necessary,butin othercases,
someminutesoperationwill berequired.
*Afterusing the cleaner,clean itwithadampcloth
andwipedry.Disconnectfrommainsbeforeclean-
ing.
*Forgreaterconservationanddurabilityofcleaner,
itisbettertokeep itconnected onlyduring the
cleaning ofitems.Ifthe cleanermustbe acertain
timewithoutoperating,itmustbe keptdiscon-
nectedfrommainspower.
CLEANINGSOLUTIONS:
Cleaning solutionscan be classified intotwogroups:
thosewhichhavewaterasthebasicelementtowhich
adetergentisadded,and solvents.The detergents
whicharemixed withwatermaybe solidsorliquids.
Wateristhemostuniversal cleaning type,asitisable
todissolvesuchorganicsubstances.Although water
maynotdissolvesuchorganicsubstancesasoil,
greaseorwax,itcan be used tocarry the cleaning
detergenttoacton the substancestobe dissolved.
Wateralsoactsasameansofdispersal fororganic
substanceswhichcannotbedissolvedbutwhichmay
be suspended in the solution.
Inmostcases,andespeciallywhen therearenolarge
tracesofgreaseoroils,astandarddomesticliquid
detergentmaybeused.
When volumeand type ofdirt issuchthat aqueous
solutionsdo notattack itatall ordo itvery slowly,
solventswithagreatpowertodissolvewax,oilsand
greaseshavetobe used.
