Beim ersten Aufbau: Sie sollten Ihr neues Tarp erst
einmal probeweise aufbauen und sich vor Antritt
der ersten Reise mit allen Aufbauschritten vertraut
machen.
Für den Aufbau werden zwei Personen benötigt.
Wenn Sie das Tarp alleinstehend aufbauen möchten,
benötigen Sie zusätzlich (1) zwei Aufstellstangen
(von ca. 200 – 220 cm Länge, im Fachhandel erhältlich,
z. B. den JACK WOLFSKIN TELESCOPIC POLE). Stellen
Sie die erste Stange leicht schräg auf und stecken Sie
das obere Ende in die dafür vorgesehene Schlaufe.
Während eine Person die Stange festhält, fixieren Sie
die beiden Abspannleinen mit Heringen (2). Ziehen
Sie das gegenüberliegende Planenende straff und
fixieren Sie die zweite Stange auf die gleiche Art
(3). Justieren Sie noch einmal nach und achten Sie
darauf, dass die Hauptnaht zwischen den Stangen
wirklich stramm gespannt ist. (Dies ist die Grundvor-
aussetzung für einen perfekten Stand.) Anschließend
werden die seitlichen Abspannleinen ausgespannt (4).
Pitching your tarp for the first time: We recommend
you do a dry run pitching your new tarp in order to
familiarise yourself with all the steps in the pitching
procedure before embarking on your first trip.
Assembly requires two people. If you would like to
assemble the tarp in a freestanding configuration,
you will require two rigging poles (1) (approx. 200 to
220 cm in length, such as the JACK WOLFSKIN TELES-
COPIC POLE). Position the first pole at a slight angle
and insert the upper end into the corresponding loop.
While someone else holds the pole in place, secure
the two guylines with pegs (2). Tauten the opposite
end of the tarp and secure the second pole in the
same manner (3). Make any necessary adjustments
and ensure that the primary seam between the poles
is sufficiently taut for maximum performance. Then
secure the side guylines (4).

Lors du premier montage : Avant d’entamer votre
voyage, il est conseillé tout d’abord de procéder au
montage de votre nouveau tarp, afin de vous familia-
riser avec les différentes étapes de montage.
Deux personnes sont nécessaires pour le montage. Si
vous souhaitez monter le tarp seul, il vous faudra en
plus (1) deux piquets de montage (d’environ 200-220 cm
de longueur, disponibles dans le commerce spécialisé,
par ex. le TELESCOPIC POLE de JACK WOLFSKIN).
Disposez le premier piquet de façon légèrement
penchée et placez l’extrémité du haut dans la boucle
prévue à cet effet. Pendant qu’une personne tient le
piquet, fixez les deux haubans à l’aide de sardines
(2). Tirez le côté opposé de la bâche pour le tendre
et fixez le deuxième piquet de la même manière (3).
Ajustez de nouveau en veillant à ce que la couture
principale entre les piquets soit bien tendue (ceci
est une condition de base pour une bonne stabilité).
Ensuite les haubans latéraux peuvent être tendus (4).

Das Tarp hat vielseitige Einsatzmöglichkeiten; durch
Anpassung der Abspannleinen und den flexiblen
Gebrauch von zusätzlichen Teleskopstangen kann es
entweder freistehend oder an diverse Zelte ange-
dockt werden (1). Ohne zusätzliche Stangen können
z. B. Bäume als Befestigung dienen (2).
This tarp can be used for a variety of applications.
Adjustable guylines and the optional use of telescopic
poles (not included) allow the tarp to be set up in a
free-standing configuration or placed over a number
of tents (1). Trees can be used instead of poles to
secure the tarp (2).

Le Tarp peut être utilisé de nombreuses manières dif-
férentes ; en adaptant les haubans et par l’utilisation
flexible de piquets télescopiques supplémentaires,
il peut être monté seul ou attaché à différentes
types de tentes (1). Sans piquets supplémentaires,
des arbres peuvent servir par exemple de point de
fixation (2).

REPARATUREN
Reparaturmaterialien für kleine Reparaturen unter-
wegs liegen bei. Produktionsfehler werden im Rahmen
der Garantieleistungen repariert. Andere Reparaturen
führen wir gegen eine Gebühr gerne aus. Schicken Sie
das gereinigte Tarp mit klarer Reparaturkennzeich-
nung/-anweisung und Ihrem Kaufbeleg über Ihren
Fachhändler ein.
LAGERUNG
Bevor Sie Ihr Tarp längere Zeit lagern, muss es
vollkommen durchgetrocknet sein, sonst besteht die
Gefahr von Schimmel- und Stockfleckenbildung.
UV-STRAHLUNG
Ultraviolette (UV) Strahlung zerstört mit der Zeit alle
modernen Zeltmaterialien. Das spezielle Polyester-
Zeltmaterial erhöht die Lebensdauer gegenüber her-
kömmlichen Nylon- Zeltmaterialien, kann aber auch
auf Dauer der Natur nicht trotzen. Bitte vermeiden
Sie deshalb dauerhafte intensive Sonneneinwirkung.
JACK WOLFSKIN übernimmt keine Garantie für Schä-
den durch UV-Strahlung.
RÉPARATIONS
Un kit de réparation pour les petites réparations en
voyage est fourni. Les défauts de fabrication seront
réparés dans le cadre de la garantie. Nous effectuons
volontiers toutes autres réparations moyennant un
paiement. Faites-nous parvenir le tarp via votre reven-
deur en indiquant clairement les endroits à réparer,
accompagné de votre preuve d’achat.
STOCKAGE
Avant de stocker votre tarp pour une durée pro-
longée, veillez à ce qu’il soit complètement sec, faute
de quoi des taches de moisissures ou d’humidité
peuvent se former.
RAYONS UV
Au fil du temps, les rayons ultraviolets (UV) endom-
magent tous les matériaux modernes de tentes. Le
matériau de tente en silicone spécial a une durée de
vie plus longue que les matériaux de tente traditi-
onnels, mais à la longue il ne résiste pas non plus à
la nature. C’est pourquoi, nous vous recommandons
d’éviter toute exposition intensive de longue durée
au soleil. JACK WOLFSKIN décline toute responsabilité
quant aux dommages causés par des rayonnements
UV.
REPAIRS
Repair materials for minor repairs during usage are
provided. Production faults will be repaired under
the terms of our guarantee. Our service department
will be pleased to perform other repairs for a small
charge. Please send in your cleaned tarp via your
nearest dealer, enclosing clear repair instructions and
proof of purchase.
STORAGE
Allow your tarp to dry thoroughly while still assem-
bled before storing it for any longer period. This will
prevent mildew and damp stains forming.
UV LIGHT
Ultraviolet (UV) radiation reduces the tearstrength
of all tent materials in the course of time. The special
polyester tent material increases the service life in
comparison with conventional nylon materials. Tarp
materials, however, cannot permanently defy the
effects of nature. Therefore, please avoid subjecting
the tarp to intensive sunlight for extended periods of
time. JACK WOLFSKIN will not assume any liability for
damage caused by ultraviolet light.

ENTRETIEN
Nettoyer votre tarp, une fois monté, uniquement
avec de l’eau et très peu de savon. Ne jamais utiliser
votre machine à laver ou le pressing, ceci pourrait
endommager le revêtement de manière irréversible.
Des produits lubrifiants en silicone adaptés protègent
les piquets de la corrosion.
FEU
Le feu ouvert et les flammes représentent un danger
pour les tissus de tentes. Évitez de placer la tente à
proximité d’un feu ouvert.
PFLEGE
Reinigen Sie Ihr Tarp in aufgebautem Zustand aus-
schließlich mit Wasser und wenig Seife. Auf keinen
Fall in die Waschmaschine oder Reinigung geben, da
hier die Beschichtung irreversibel zerstört werden
kann. Geeignete Silikon-Schmiermittel schützen
Stangen vor Korrosion.
FEUER
Offenes Feuer und Flammen sind eine Gefahr für Zelt-
gewebe und Ihre Sicherheit. Vermeiden Sie offenes
Feuer in unmittelbarer Nähe des Tarps.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean your tarp when assembled using only a little
soap and water. Zips in particular should be cleaned
regularly to remove dirt and grit. On no account
should the tent be machine washed or dry cleaned,
since this could cause irreversible damage to the
protective coating on the tent fabric. Suitable silicone-
based lubricants protect poles from corrosion.
FIRE PREVENTION
Open fires and flames are a hazard for the tent ma-
terials. Avoid naked flames in the immediate vicinity
of the tent.

WEITERE TIPPS
Die stramme Grundspannung der Stangen, des Zelt-
dachs und der Abspannleinen sind die Vorraussetzung
für beste Wetterstabilität. Überprüfen Sie den Sitz der
Plane und korrigieren Sie ihn wenn nötig. Investieren
Sie beim Aufbau ruhig ein paar Minuten mehr an Zeit
und Mühe, dann können Sie beim nächsten Wetterein-
bruch ganz „entspannt“ sein.
NAHTDICHTER
Die wichtigsten Nähte sind mit einer speziellen Naht-
bandversiegelung versehen. Es empfiehlt sich Naht-
stellen, in die Bänder oder Gummilitzen mit eingefasst
sind und die so die Bandabklebung unterbrechen,
von innen und außen zusätzlich mit beiliegendem
PU-Nahtdichter abzudichten. Eine Garantie für die
Verklebung ist ausgeschlossen.
AUTRES CONSEILS
Une forte tension de base des piquets, du toit de
tente et des haubans garantira une meilleure résis-
tance aux intempéries. Veillez à que la toile soit bien
maintenue et corrigez si besoin. Mieux vaut prendre
quelques minutes de plus pour le montage, pour être
tranquille lorsque le mauvais temps arrive.
IMPERMÉABILISANT À COUTURES
Les coutures importantes sont recouvertes d’une
bande scellée spéciale. Il est recommandé de sceller
de nouveau les endroits des coutures, où des bandes
ou bien des cordons en caoutchouc ont été intégrés
et interrompent ainsi la bande scellée, avec l’im-
perméabilisant à coutures en polyuréthane fourni,
en l’appliquant de l’intérieur et de l’extérieur. Le
collage est exclu de la garantie.
FURTHER TIPS
Correct initial tensioning of the poles, the roof tarp
and the guy lines are the prerequisites for a secure
pitch and optimum wind stability. Check that the
tarp is correctly positioned and guylines correctly
tensioned and correct if necessary. Take your time; a
few minutes spent checking the tarp during pitching
will mean that you can relax when the weather next
turns bad!
SEAM SEALANT
The important seams are specially tape sealed.
However we do recommend additional sealing with
the PU seam sealant provided, particularly at those
points of the seam where tapes or rubber tensioning
loops are integrated into seam and thus interrupt the
continuity of the tape seal. We offer no guarantee on
the seam taping of the seams.
