Important Precautions Cont.
Charging Process
1.
Plug the charger into the AC power
source.
2.
The charger is powered up properly if
the LED light between the chemistry
type and amperage selection begins
flashing green.
3.
Choose your battery’s correct
chemistry type (LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, NiMH)
using the selector button on the left
of the charger. If charging a NiCd
battery, use the NiMH selection.
4.
Choose the maximum charge
current using the button on the right
of the charger. If you are unsure what
current to charge at, consult your
battery’s manual.
5.
Connect the charge cable to the front of
the charger. Please ensure that the red
plug is connected to the red (positive)
port and the black plug is connected to
the black (negative) port.
6. Connect your battery to the charger. If
charging a LiPo or LiFe, the battery will
not begin to charge until the balance
plug is connected to the balance port
on the right side of the charger.
7.
The green LED in the center of
the charger will stop blinking and
turn constant red. The individual
cell voltage of each cell (LiPo/LiFe)
will begin to display in the center
LCD window.
8. The LED will turn solid green when the
battery is fully charged.
9. When the battery is removed from the
charger, the LED will begin flashing
green. The next battery can now be
charged.
Notes
1. Please make sure the input power and
battery type selected are suitable for the
batteries parameters.
2.
Do not reverse the polarity of the
charger leads as it may permanently
damage the charger or battery.
3.
Do not change battery type selector
switch when charging. If this happens
accidentally, the display will show “Err”.
To begin charging, unplug the battery
from the charger, double check your
charge settings, reconnect your battery
and begin charging normally.
