- Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperature.
- Do not tamper the internal components of the unit.
- Clean your unit with a dry cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used.
- Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
- Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps
or motors.
Resetting the Unit
If the unit is subject to a power surge or electric shock, it is possible that the internal micro-controller may
lock up and the unit will not respond to any commands from the top panel controls or remote control.
1.In this event, unplug and then reconnect the AC power plug into the wall outlet.
2.Use a straightened paper clip, toothpick or similar objects to press the RESET button located at rear of
the main unit (see the below figure). The reset operation clears the system memory and all of your
previous settings will be erased. CAUTION: DO NOT USE SHARP, POINTED OBJECT TO PRESS
THE RESET BUTTON. IT MAY DAMAGE THE RESET SWITCH INSIDE THE UNIT.
If drop-outs or interruptions occur in the music during play, or if the disc fails to
play at all, its bottom surface may require cleaning. Before playing, wipe the disc
from the center outwards with a good soft cleaning cloth.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
SLEEP TIMER
1. The sleep timer allows you to turnthe unit off after adesignated time isreached .
2. To activate the sleep timer, turn the uniton and eitherload a CD,dock your iPodor tune
to the desired radio station.
3. To select the sleep timer to turn the unitoff after 15, 30, 45or 60 minutes,press SLEEP button
1, 2, 3 or 4 times, respectively. The unit will play forthe selected lengthof time then automatically
turn off.
4. To turn the unit off before the selected length of time, press POWER button at anytime.
Note: If you activatethe sleep timerwhile a CDis playing, theunit will onlycontinue until the end of
the disc thenshut off automatically no matterwhat time the sleep timer isset to. For example, if your
CD is only30 minutes long and a 45-minute sleep timer is selected, the unitwill shut off approximately
1 minute afterthe CD finishes playing.

ALARM OPERATIONS
Setting the Alarm time
When the unit is in power off mode.
1. Press the MODE button once. The alarm clock display flashes.
2. To set the hour, press / button to set advance or reverse hour setting. Press and hold the button for
fast advance / reverse value.
3. To set the minute, press the VOLUME + / - button to set advance or reverse minute setting. Press and hold
the button for fast advance / reverse value.
4. Press the MODE button again. The alarm source icon flashes.
5. Press VOLUME + / - button to select wake up modes:
Note : - When “Wake to Radio” is selected, make sure the radio station you want to wake to is tuned.
- If “Wake to CD” or “Wake to iPod”,is selected but your iPod not been docked or a CD is not
inserted, the alarm source will be redirected to the Alarm Buzzer automatically when the alarm
time is reached.
6. To save all settings and exit the setting mode, press the MEM button.
7. To activate the daily alarm, press the ALARM ON/OFF button. A " " indicator appears on LCD display.
8. When the current time matches the alarm setting, the alarm sounds from the selected source.
Wake to Alarm Buzzer
• When the alarm time is reached, the buzzer alarm will sound for one minute.

• After the 1 alarm minute, it goes into Auto Snooze mode. The display shows the "SNOOZE" indicator.
The buzzer turns off for the snooze time (around 10 minutes) then comes on again.
• You may also activate the snooze function manually after the alarm sounds by pressing the SNOOZE button.
The buzzer stops for the snooze time then comes again.
• The snooze operation (including auto snooze and manual snooze) can be repeated by within the 50 minutes
from the set alarm time.
• To stop the alarm immediately after the buzzer sounds, you can also press the ALARM ON/OFF button.
It resets itself for the following day.
BUZ ----- Wake to Buzzer
RAD ----- Wake to Radio
iPod ----- Wake to iPod
CD ----- Wake toCD
Wake to Radio / CD / iPod
• When the alarm time is reached, the selected alarm source Radio, CD or iPod will automatically turn “ON”.
It starts softly and gradually becomes louder.
• It plays for 60 minutes then shuts off and resets itself for the following day ( without pressing the
snooze button).
• During the activation of the desired alarm source, you may press the SNOOZE button to activate the
snooze function. The alarm source stops for the snooze time (around 10 minutes) then turns
“ON” again. This manual snooze operation can be repeated within the 50 minutes from the set alarm time.
• To stop the alarm immediately after the alarm source sounds, you may also press the ALARM ON/OFF
button. It resets itself for the following day.
