VERSA FLEX BAR Quickstart Guide
Versa Flex Bar (Base)
- The Versa Flex Bar will reset once plugged in and the power switch is turned on.
- Allow the Versa Flex to boot up. This may take up to 1 minute.
-How to Connect the RF Remote
- Go to the MENU on the LED Screen and select “SETTINGS”
- Maneuver to “RF Remote” and once you press enter, make sure that the setting
is turned “ON”
- Return to the “SETTINGS” Menu, and select “RF ID”
- You can pick RF IDs between #s 1-8
- Once selected, press menu until the the display goes back to the starting
screen
- Using the RF Remote, press the ID (button) you set rapidly 3 times, the “signal”
LED above the display should light up RED.
1. Auto Mode
a. Press “Auto” to begin Auto-Preprogrammed Shows
b. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
2. Sound Mode
a. Press “Sound” to place the Versa Flex Bar into Sound Mode
i. The Versa Flex Bar has a default microphone sensitivity of 80%
b. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
c. Adjusting microphone Sensitivity
i. Press “Sound” and then press “+” and “-” to adjust microphone sensitivity
ii. Pressing “MID” will reset the sound sensitivity to the default setting of
80%
3. Manual Mode
a. You can manually set up your own unique show by selecting different presets for
each part of the Versa Flex Bar
b. Moving Heads
i. Pressing the “Head” button will turn on the moving heads.
ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
c. Warm
i. Pressing the “Warm” button will turn on the Warm White LEDs.

ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
d. Cool
i. Pressing the “Cool” button will turn on the Cool White LEDs.
ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
e. Red
i. Pressing the “Red” button will turn on the Red LEDs.
ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
f. Green
i. Pressing the “Green” button will turn on the Green LEDs.
ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
g. Blue
i. Pressing the “Blue” button will turn on Blue LEDs.
ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
h. “RGB”
i. Pressing the “RGB” button will turn on the RGB LEDs.
ii. Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
i. Dimmer (will give you a static look)
i. Pressing the “Dimmer” button will turn on the bar and moving heads at full
brightness (moving heads have no movement during this function).
1. Press the “+” / “-” buttons to scroll through the 5 different levels of
brightness.
Note: The dimming function does not apply to any other function.
j. Adjusting your Show
i. You can press “Undo” to cancel out the last action you did trying to create
your unique show
ii. You can press “Redo” to activate the last action you did trying to create
your unique show
iii. Color Mixing
1. You can Color Mix the RGB LEDs by starting a preprogrammed “R” “G” “B” program, and
then pressing a different color.

2. You can undo the color by pressing “Undo”
4. The RED

Button allows you to black out the entire show or individual part of the
Versa Flex Bar
5. The GREEN ▷allows you to resume the entire show or individual part of the Versa Flex
Bar after a black out.
6. Special Functions:
a. Strobe, overrides any function.
i. Pressing the “Strobe” button makes the bar and moving heads strobe at
maximum speed.
ii. Press the “+” / “-” buttons to select between anyone of the 7 strobe
speeds.
iii. Press the GREEN ▷ to cancel strobe and resume the previous function.
b. Reverse LED direction
i. The LED direction can be changed to match your preference by going to
“SETTINGS” on the Menu, and Selecting “LED Dir.”
- Turning this “ON” will reverse the direction of the LED.

c. Master/Slave
- In “SETTINGS” go to “MASTER SET.”
- Choosing “MASTER” will make the VERSA FLEX BAR the Master
- Choosing “ALONE” will make the bar the Slave
- **Connecting Multiple Bars in Master/Slave**
- Daisy chain the bars together using DMX Cables
- All bars that are set to “ALONE” must have the setting “RF Remote”
turned to “OFF” or else they will be receiving the signal from the remote
as well.
- Make sure that all the Versa Flex Bars are set to the same DMX Address
- Connect the RF Remote to the MASTER Bar and press “AUTO” on the
remote. All connected bars should automatically be starting Auto Show
#1.
- Select between the 12 preprogrammed shows by pressing any of the 1-12
buttons or by pressing the “+” / “-” buttons.
**Controlling Multiple Bars with Only the RF Remote**
- Make sure all bars are set to “MASTER”
- Set all Versa Flex Bars to the same RF ID
- Now all bars will function using the same signal.

Versa Flex Bar (Pars)
Note: When connecting the Par Lights, make sure the Versa Flex Bar is OFF. Failure to
do so can result in damage to the electrical components of the Versa Flex Bar and Pars.
1. Attach your wanted Pars, turn the Versa Flex Bar and wait for it to boot up.
2. Go to Menu option “Add Ons” and set which Pars you want for Unit 1 and Unit 2
Note: Linked ports are Unit-1 (ports 1&3), and Unit-2 (ports 2&4).
Note: You can NOT use 4 Pars of the same kind with one bar, it has to be 2 different pairs.
3. Auto Mode
a. Auto mode will work the same as the Base Model
b. Each Par has 12 preset shows that match the Base’s shows
4. Manual Mode
a. You can manually change the Pars while building your own manual shows
b. “Unit 1” activates the Pars that you set as Unit 1
i. You can pick between 12 settings using the 1-12 buttons or scroll through
options using “+” and “-” buttons
c. “Unit 2” activates the Pars that you set as Unit 2
i. You can pick between 12 settings using the 1-12 buttons or scroll through
options using “+” and “-” buttons
d. Adjusting your Show
i. You can press “Undo” to cancel out the last action you did trying to create
your unique show
ii. You can press “Redo” to activate the last action you did trying to create
your unique show
5. The RED

REMOTE CONTROL BUTTONS:
ID1 - ID8: Links remote to VFB
UNDO: Back one step, reverses last function.
REDO: Forth one step, repeat the reversed function.
RED STOP: Blackout
GREEN PLAY: Back - ON
DIMMER: Turns the bar & moving heads ON to full brightness, use +/- to adjust brightness. Use
preset #’s 1-12 to change the moving heads color wheel. Note: Dimmer does not apply to any
other setting.
STROBE: Activates the bar and moving head strobe function, press “UNDO” to cancel strobe
and auto to go back.
I<<: Reduces the selected scene speed.
>>I: Increases the selected scene speed.
#1 - #12: Pre-programmed scenes
+: mic sensitivity UP, when in sound mode. Increases brightness when in DIMMER mode.
-: mic sensitivity DOWN, when in sound mode. Decreases brightness when in DIMMER mode.
MED: resets mic sensitivity to default when in sound mode
HEAD: Activates moving heads, default scene is #1
RED: Activates (BAR) red LED lights, default scene is #1
GREEN: Activates (BAR) green LED lights, default scene is #1
BLUE: Activates (BAR) blue LED lights, default scene is #1
UNIT1: Activates (PAR) lights connected to FIXTURE 2 & 4 plugs behind the bar, default scene
is #1.
WARM: Activates (BAR) warm white beams, default scene is #1.
RGB: Activates (BAR) RGB LED lights, default scene is #7.
COOL: Acticates (BAR) cool white LED lights, default scene is #1.
UNIT2: Activates (PAR) lights connected to FIXTURE 1 & 3 plugs behind the bar, default scene
is #1.
DMX: Disconnects the remote control from the bar.
WDMX: No function
AUTO: Activates preprogrammed scenes, default scene is #1.
SOUND: Activates sound mode scenes, default scene is #1.
