INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTING ALARM UNIT

1. Contents:
Alarm Housing, Battery Cover,
Battery, Reed Switch with Jack
plug, Magnet, De-activation Pin, x2
Rivets, x2 Ø 5mm self tapping
Screws, x2 Ø 4mm self tapping
screws.
2. Remove Battery Cover from Alarm
Housing.
3. Drill 2 x 4mm holes behind the recess for
the reed switch in the side of the
Jonesco Box, using template at bottom
of sheet. (Avoid shelves if fitted).
4. Drill 2 holes Ø 5.5 in reed switch recess,
positions indicated by a small dimple.
5. Attach the reed switch with lead in to the
recess inside the main body of the box
using x2 Ø 5mm screws (Fig. 2).
6. Fit the magnet to the door in the recess
using x2 Ø 4mm screws (Fig. 1).
7. Attach the alarm unit to the inside of box
with x2 rivets (rivet head on outside of
box) ensuring that the battery cavity is
facing the box opening.
8. Plug the reed switch jack plug into the
alarm unit (Fig. 2).
9. Plug the “De-activation Pin” into the
alarm unit (Fig. 2).
10. Attach the battery and fit the Battery
Cover.
11. To test alarm: Remove De-activation pin.
Close and lock door, wait 30 seconds,
open door.
Refit De-activation pin to disarm,
when alarm sounds.
If alarm fails, check battery.
12. To set alarm: Remove De-activation pin,
close and lock door. Store De-activation
pin in a safe place.
1. Contenu:
Boîtier alarme, couvre-batterie,
batterie, contacteur avec prise
jack, aimant, goupille d'armement,
2 rivets, 2 vis diamètre 5 mm, 2
vis diamètre 4 mm.
2. Oter le couvercle de la batterie du boîtier
alarme.
3. Percer 2 trous de diamètre 4mm centrés
sur le côté du coffre Jonesco à l'aide du
gabarit ci-joint pour fixer le boîtier de
l'alarme.
4. Percer 2 trous de diamètre 5.5mm dans
le corps du boîtier d'alarme aux endroits
prémarqués.
5. Fixer le contacteur avec la prise jack
dans l'emplacement réservé au droit du
joint du coffre à l'aide des 2 vis diamètre
5 mm (Fig. 2).
6. Fixer l'aimant sur la porte dans
l'emplacement réservé à l'aide des vis
diamètre 4 mm (Fig. 1).
7. Fixer l'alarme à l'intérieur du coffre à
l'aide des rivets (tête du rivet à
l'extérieur) en vous assurant que le
logement de la batterie se trouve le plus
prêt possible du système d'ouverture de
la porte.
8. Brancher la fiche jack à l'alarme (Fig. 2).
9. Brancher la goupille d'armement à
l'alarme (Fig. 2).
10. Connecter la batterie et fixer son
couvercle
11. Pour tester l'alarme : ôter la goupille
d'armement. Fermer la porte du coffre,
attendre 30 secondes, ouvrir la porte.
Pour désactiver l'alarme réinsérer la
goupille d'armement. Si l'alarme ne se
déclenche pas, vérifier la batterie.
12. Pour activer l'alarme : ôter la goupille
d'armement, fermer la porte du coffre.
Conserver cette goupille en lieu sûr.
1. Inhalt:
Alarmgehäuse, Batteriedeckel,
Batterie, Reedschalter mit Klinken-
stecker, Magnet, Entaktivierungsstift, 2
Nieten, 2 Treibschrauben (5 mm Ø), 2
Treibschrauben (4 mm Ø).
2. Batteriedeckel entfernen.
3. Mit Hilfe der beigefügten Schablone in die
Seitenwand des Jonesco-Kastens - im
Bereich hinter der Reedschalter-
aussparung - 2 Löcher (4 mm) bohren;
Ablegefächer beachten, falls vorhanden.
4. Von außen 2 Löcher (5,5 mm) in die
Reedschalter-Aussparung bohren;
Positionen vormarkiert.
5. Den Reedschalter in der Aussparung im
Innern des Kastens anbringen und mit 2
Treibschrauben (5 mm Ø, Abb. 2) sichern.
6. Den Magnet mit 2 Treibschrauben (4 mm Ø)
in der Türaussparung befestigen (Abb. 1).
7. Alarmeinheit im Kasteninnern anbringen
und mit 2 Nieten (Nietkopf an Kasten-
Außenseite) so sichern, daß das
Batteriefach zur Türöffnung zeigt.
8. Den Klinkenstecker in die Alarmeinheit
stecken (Abb. 2).
9. Den ‘Deaktivierungsstift’ in die
Alarmeinheit stecken (Abb. 2).
10. Batterie einlegen und Batteriedeckel
anbringen.
11. Alarmtest: Deaktivierungsstift entfernen,
Tür schließen und sichern, 30 Sekunden
warten, Tür öffnen. Zum Abschalten des
Alarms Deaktivierungsstift wieder ein-
fügen.
Alarm ertönt nicht – Batterie überprüfen.
12. Alarm einschalten: Deaktivierungsstift
entfernen, Tür schließen und sichern.
Deaktivierungsstift sicher aufbewahren.
