11.1.4 Clean the milk system:
After each milk product preparation the message shows up (CLEAN THE MILK SYSTEM).
The same happens when switching-off the appliance. After 10 sec. the automatic switch-off
procedure will be continued.

11.3.7 Water hardness:
Is always enabled, in descale mode or filter mode
The water hardness level can directly be programmed in German hardness (1 °dH –30 °dH).
INACTIVE not possible.
Steam will also be calculated with an internal factor
To perform the appropriate maintenance programme prompt, you have go into the
MAINTENANCE SETTING (1/3)
During the switch-ON rinse, the water flow will be monitored.
If this flow is insufficient, the measurement will be done twice again.
If it is still not ok, then the descale message will be set.
That means, the message may appear before the calculated amount of water.
Activating of this feature is always 5 litres after an ordinary descale procedure.

12 Empty system:
Frost protection
Precondition: PLEASE SELECT PRODUCT is displayed.
1. Press the 1 PORTION MILK FOAM button
2. 1 PORTION MILK FOAM, hot steam is discharged from the dual spout
3. Remove and empty the water tank
4. Turn the Rotary Switch until AMOUNT OF MILK FOAM / 60 SEC. is displayed
5. Steam will continue to be discharged from the dual spout until the system is empty
FILL WATER TANK
6. Press the On/Off button and your Z6 is switched off
13 Prepare appliance for resale:
Procedure:
All products will be reset to factory settings and the fluid system is empty due to protection against frost.
The appliance asks the customer for the desired language and afterwards it will fill the system with water.
Initial position:
The appliance is fully working.
1. Switch on appliance until the message in the display appears PLEASE SELECT PRODUCT
2. Go into the program to MACHINE SETTINGS/FACTORY SETTING
3. The display shows SAVED and appliance switches-off automatically
4. Empty system according to manual:
Press the 1 PORTION MILK FOAM button
1 PORTION MILK FOAM, hot steam is discharged from the dual spout
Remove and empty the water tank
Turn the Rotary Switch and wait until the system is empty FILL WATER TANK
Switch-off appliance
5. Switch on again the appliance (no water in water tank, display message FILL WATER TANK)
6. Press key combination key 1 (ESPRESSO) & key 6 (1 PORTION MILK FOAM) at the same time
until SAVED shows up
7. Switch off appliance
If beforehand an exit diagnosis had been made, one can start right away with step 5.
