2. Purpose and usage
Kiddie ride is an amusement mac ine designed for c ildren aged 3 to 10
years (weig ting 29 to 66 lb [13 to 30 kg]). T is is a motor-driven slow-speed
mac ine wit a c air rotating around a main axis.
THE MACHINE IS BUILT TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING FUNCTION:
ROTATING A CHILD IN A SAFE CHAIR AROUND THE MAIN AXIS OF
THE MACHINE FOR AMUSEMENT PURPOSES; ALL OTHER USES
ARE TO BE CONSIDERED IMPROPER. THE MANUFACTURER
DECLINES ALL LIABILITY FOR USES OTHER THAN THOSE
STATED ABOVE.
A c ild is placed on a mac ine-mounted c air, fastened wit safety belts, t e
coin as to be inserted and after pressing “START” button t e mac ine starts.
T e c air rotates around t e w eel radius clockwise or counterclockwise. T e
mac ine stops few times during a ride. After t e ride is over, t e c air stops
in a low position. T e ride as an emergency stop button (“STOP”). T e ride
can be continued wit pressing „START” again.
T e mac ine is equipped wit t e following safety guards:
-safety belts sensors,
-platform sensors,
-emergency stops („STOP” buttons).
Safety belts sensors will not allow for a ride to commence w ile t e safety
belts are not properly fastened. Unfastening t e safety belts during ride
make stop t e ride.

Page 6
Platform sensor reacts to t e presence of people in its area. Platform
intrusion makes t e ride stop.
C ild guardian as t e possibility to stop t e ride at any time by pressing one
of t e emergency stop buttons (“STOP”).
Every emergency stop is signalized by t e mac ine wit a spoken comment.
Once t e cause of t e sensors operation ad been removed, t e ride can be
continued after pressing “START” button.

T e Kiddie ride mac ine is built of two parts: base wit ousing and c air and
top ousing (lid). T e base includes platform sensor, and t e c air as safety
belts wit fastening sensor.
T e ousing is provided wit transmitting c ain mec anism w ic transmits
rotation from t e motor to t e kiddie ride c air. T e built-in mec anism
ensures t e c air’s leveling in one position.
T e top ousing protects t e mac ine against t e adverse effects of t e
weat er.
Main assembly t at ensures mac ine’s correct work is t e main board placed
inside t e kiddie ride (main board sc ematics, Drawing 1 in point 6.2), to
w ic ot er operating and signalizing parts are connected.
T e electric-electronic assembly consists of:
-power supply 100-240V AC/ 12V DC,
-main board,
-motor controller,
-platform sensor,

8. Assembly and installation
Kiddie ride mac ine is supplied in two parts: base and top lid.
T e top lid as to be mounted on t e ousing:
-position t e lid,
-insert screws,
-connect t e lig ting cable to t e main board.
Next, close all mac ine door and connect t e power cord to t e socket.
T e mac ine as to be installed in its location:
-t e mac ine as to be placed on ard stable ground in a way t at its
base is properly leveled. T e level s ould be acquired using spirit
level; t e adjustment is done by tig tening screws (plates under t e
base),
-it is important t at t e middle ousing stands uprig t, as in ot er
case t e seat reel or coin acceptor mig t not work properly,
-during installation it is important to watc t e power cord so t at it
does not get pressed down,

way to clean it is by using simple clot slig tly soaked in distilled alco ol.
Focus s ould be placed on cleaning t e area w ere coins slide t roug (make
sure sliding part is in open position). Do not use acetone or dissolvent.
2 Mechanism maintenance
Periodically, once a mont or even more often if needed, t e moving parts
(c ain, bearing, grease fitting of rolling bearing) ave to be lubricated wit
lubricant.
3 Fuse change
T e mac ine is equipped wit a one time-delay fuse (motor security). A
blown fuse as to be exc anged for a new fuse of t e same type: 125V/8A
time delay ceramic fuse.
To c ange t e fuse unscrew
