reached.
• Do not put the lid o the deep at ryer during use. Only put it
once the appliance has completely cooled down to avoid dust
getting into the oil.
• When the ryer has reached the desired temperature, raise the
basket using the handle.
• Place the ood into the basket slowly to avoid splashes and lower
the basket ully into the oil or at.
• When the ood is ready, raise the basket by li ting the handle and
let the ood drain.
• I necessary you can take the basket out o the appliance.
• Ensure the ood is thoroughly cooked inside and out.
• Your deep at ryer does not have a separate ON/OFF switch.
A ter use, turn the thermostat to its o position and unplug the
appliance. Never move the appliance as long as the oil or at is
still hot.
FOR BEST RESULTS
• Always dry ood well be ore rying. Very ‘wet’ ood can cause the
oil to ‘ oam’ and may over low.
• Food or rying should be roughly o the same size to ensure the
ood cooks evenly and thoroughly.
• Many types o ood may need to be coated be ore rying -
typical coatings are batter or breadcrumbs.
• Always wait until the ryer has reached the desired temperature
and the pilot light has gone out, be ore adding the ood.
• Do not over ill the basket.
C UTION: This ryer has a built-in sa ety cut o switch that triggers i
the unit accidentally overheats (e.g. temperature control ails to
unction.) Should this happen, irstly put the thermostat knob on
minimum position and unplug the deep at ryer. Wait until the
element cools down (about 15 minutes). Then press the restart button
situated in the back o the control panel, above the cord storage
using a toothpick. This will reset the deep at ryer. Your deep at ryer
is now ready to use. To make sure this does not happen again,
please read the instruction manual thoroughly.
