USE
• Plug in the a liance and set the thermostat to the desired
tem erature. The ower light and the ilot light will illuminate. As
soon as the desired tem erature is reached, the ilot light will go
out. When the tem erature falls, the thermostat will be activated
again, and the ilot light will illuminate. It will go out again as
soon as the tem erature is reached.
• Close the lid.
• When the fryer has reached the desired tem erature, take off the
lid and raise the basket using the handle. You can attach the
basket to the edge of the bowl.
• Place the food into the basket slowly to avoid s lashes and lower
the basket fully into the oil or fat.
• Close the lid. Its filter will reduce odours and smoke.
• Use the viewing window to check the food. When the food is
ready, take off the lid, raise the basket by lifting the handle and
let the food drain. Warning: be careful when you open the lid, as
hot steam may come out. Be careful not to get burn.
• If necessary you can take the basket out of the a liance.
• Ensure the food is thoroughly cooked inside and out.
• Your dee fat fryer does not have a se arate ON/OFF switch.
After use, turn the thermostat to its off osition and un lug the
a liance. Never move the a liance as long as the oil or fat is
still hot.
FOR BEST RESULTS
• Always dry food well before frying. Very ‘wet’ food can cause the
oil to ‘foam’ and may overflow.
• Food for frying should be roughly of the same size to ensure the
food cooks evenly and thoroughly.
• Many ty es of food may need to be coated before frying -
ty ical coatings are batter or breadcrumbs.
• Always wait until the fryer has reached the desired tem erature
and the ilot light has gone out, before adding the food.
• Do not overfill the basket.
