12. Always attach lug to a liance first, then lug cord in the wall
outlet. To disconnect, remove lug from wall outlet.
13. Remove the accessories from the motor unit before washing.
14. The blades of the stick mixer are shar . Handle carefully.
15. Kee hands and utensils away from moving blades while
rocessing food to reduce the risk of severe injury to ersons or
damage to the a liance. A scra er may be used but must be
used only when the a liance is not running.
16. When mixing liquids, es ecially hot liquids, use a tall container or
make small quantities at a time to reduce s illage.

POLA IZED PLUG INST UCTIONS
Some a liances are equi ed with a olarized lug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this lug
will fit into the olarized outlet only one way. If the lug does not
ro erly fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit,
contact a com etent qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
For a liances equi ed with a standard lug, sim ly insert the lug
into the outlet without aying attention to the way you lug it.
SHO T CO D INST UCTIONS
A short ower su ly cord is rovided to reduce the hazards resulting
from becoming entangled in, or tri ing over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least that
of the a liance. If the electrical rating of the extension cord is
too low, it could overheat and burn.
• The resulting extended cord should be arranged so that it will not
hang over the counter to or tableto where it can be ulled on
by children or tri ed over.
IMPO TANT INFO MATION
This a liance is not for rofessional use. You should follow the
requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result
in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the
maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum
usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.

HOW TO USE
Your new stick mixer is a convenient and easy to use for owerful
high s eed blending. It is great for shakes, sou s, sauces, omelettes
and much, much more.
• Before using for the first time, the a liance should be cleaned
with a dam cloth. Ensure the unit is un lugged first!
• Screw the shaft onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor
unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by the
locked symbol. Using gentle hand ressure only ensures that
the shaft is fully tightened on to the motor unit.
• Put the ingredients into a suitable container such as a mixing
bowl, cooking an or mixing beaker (if included). Do not overfill
to avoid s lashing when the motor is switched on.
• Plug in at the mains.
• Put the shaft of the a liance into the ingredients before ressing
one of the “s eed 1” or “s eed 2” switches. This will avoid
s lashing when the motor is switched on.
• Switch on motor by choosing “S eed 1“ or “S eed 2” and blend
but remember to use for no longer than 1 minute continuous use.
The motor must then be rested for 10 minutes.
HOW TO CLEAN THE DETACHABLE SHAFT
• Always un lug the unit before cleaning.
• The motor unit should only be wi ed down with a moist cloth.
• Unscrew the shaft from the screw thread at the bottom of the
motor unit. Take care to screw the shaft in the direction shown by
the unlocked symbol .
• Wash the shaft under running water immediately after use. If it is
very dirty, it can be washed in warm washing-u water.
• Dry the detachable shaft thoroughly after washing.
• NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN ANY LIQUID.
WHEN PROCESSING FOODS WITH COLOUR (E.G. CARROTS) SOME
PARTS MAY BECOME DISCOLOURED. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE
PERFORMANCE OF YOUR PRODUCT.

not a condition of these warranties. You can also fill this warranty

This KALORIK roduct is warranted for 1 year from the date of
urchase against defects in material and workmanshi . This warranty
is not transferable. Kee the original sales recei t. Proof of urchase
is required to obtain warranty erformance.
During this eriod, the KALORIK roduct that, u on ins ection by
KALORIK, is roved defective, will be re aired or re laced, at
KALORIK's o tion, without charge to the customer. If a re lacement
roduct is sent, it will carry the remaining warranty of the original
roduct.
This warranty does not a ly to any defect arising from a buyer's or
user's misuse of the roduct, negligence, failure to follow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manual, use on current or voltage
other than that stam ed on the roduct, wear and tear, alteration
or re air not authorized by KALORIK, or use for commercial ur oses.
There is no warranty for glass arts, glass containers, filter basket,
blades and agitators, and accessories in general. There is also no
warranty for arts lost by the user.
ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS WITH RESPECT TO
THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO LIMITED TO THE ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
PERIOD
Some states do not allow limitation on how long an im lied warranty
lasts or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential

If the a liance should become defective within the warranty
eriod and more than 30 days after date of urchase, do not return

nearest service location.

CONSEJOS DE SEGU IDAD

GUA DE ESTAS INST UCCIONES
INFO MACIÓN SOB E EL ENCHUFE POLA IZADO
Algunos a aratos están rovistos con un enchufe olarizado (una
ata es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de choque
eléctrico, este enchufe calza en el tomacorriente olarizado de una
sola manera. Si el enchufe no cabe totalmente en el tomacorriente,
gire el enchufe. Si aún así no calza, consulte a un servicio técnico
cualificado. No intente anular esta característica de seguridad.
Para los a aratos rovistos con un enchufe clásico, basta con
insertar el enchufe en la toma de corriente.
INST UCCIONES DEL CABLE
El cable de alimentación del a arato es un cable corto a fin de
disminuir el riesgo de accidentes (caídas al tro ezar con él, etc.)
Puede utilizar un alargador si es necesario.
• Asegúrese de que el nivel eléctrico del cable es igual o mayor
que el indicado. Una extensión con un bajo nivel eléctrico
conllevaría el riesgo de su sobrecalentamiento y daño.
• Para evitar riesgos, coloque el a arato de forma tal que los niños
no uedan jalarlo o tro ezar con él. Que no arrastre nunca or el
suelo.
TIEMPO DE UTILIZACIÓN
Este a arato no es ara usos rofesionales. Es necesario realizar
aradas a intervalos regulares. No realizar esas aradas odría
dañar el motor. Para una utilización ó tima de su a arato y evitar el
deterioro de su motor, controle el tiem o de utilización continuada

máxima indicada en la laca de características. (KB xx min. donde
xx es la duración máxima). Las ausas de utilización tienen que

MODO DE EMPLEO
Fácil, ráctico y sim le de lim iar, ideal ara batir leche, so as,
huevos, etc.
• Antes de utilizar el a arato or rimera vez, la varilla debe ser
lim iada con un año húmedo.
• Atornille la arte se arable dentro de la rosca en la arte inferior
del bloque motor en el sentido de las agujas del reloj. Haga una
leve resión sólo ara asegurarse de que la varilla está
totalmente aco lada a la unidad del motor
• Vierta los ingredientes en el vaso batidor o en otro reci iente
vigilando las cantidades ara evitar sal icaduras.
• Conecte la clavija a la red eléctrica.
• Introduzca la varilla del a arato dentro de los ingredientes antes
de resionar uno de los interru tores “velocidad 1” o “velocidad
2”. Esto evitará sal icaduras cuando el motor esté en marcha.
• Enciende el motor escogiendo “velocidad 1” o “velocidad 2” y
bata. Nunca utilice el a arato durante más de 1 minuto de
manera continua. Des ués, es necesario efectuar ausas de 10
minutos.
LIMPIEZA
• Desenchufe el a arato antes de roceder a su lim ieza.
• El bloque del motor no tiene que ser lim iado más que con
una bayeta húmeda.
• Desenrosque la varilla de la rosca que se encuentra en la
arte inferior de la unidad del motor en el sentido contrario
de las agujas del reloj
• Seque cuidadosamente la varilla.
• NO SUMERJA NUNCA EL BLOQUE MOTOR EN EL AGUA O EN
CUALQUIER OTRO LÍQUIDO.
CUANDO PREPARE ALIMENTOS CON COLORANTES (zanahoria por
ejemplo), ES POSIBLE QUE ALGUNAS PARTES DEL APARATO CAMBIEN
DE COLOR.
