IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
2. Check that your mains voltage corres onds to that stated on the
rating late of the a liance before using the a liance.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles.
4. To rotect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, lug, or
the a liance in water or other liquid.
5. Close su ervision is necessary when the a liance is used by or
near children.
6. Un lug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before cleaning the a liance.
7. Do not o erate any a liance with a damaged cord or lug or
after the a liance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Return a liance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, re air, or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
a liance manufacturer may cause injuries.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces.
11. Do not lace on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an a liance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
13. Always attach lug to a liance first, then lug cord into the wall
outlet. To disconnect remove the lug from the wall outlet.
14. Do not use a liance for other than intended use.
15. When using this a liance, rovide adequate airs ace above
and on all sides for air circulation. On surfaces where heat may
cause a roblem, an insulated hot ad is recommended.
16. Do not leave unit unattended during use.
17. Always use the roduct on a clean, flat, hard, dry surface. There
should be no material such as a tablecloth or lastic between
the unit and surface. A fire may occur if sandwich maker is

covered or touching flammable material, including curtains,
dra eries, walls, and the like, when in o eration.
18. It is absolutely necessary to kee this a liance clean at all times
as it comes into direct contact with food.
19. Be careful not to scratch the non-stick coating of the cooking
late, as you might get little ieces of this coating into the food. If
scra ing is necessary, un lug the a liance and use a classical
wooden s atula or a heat resistant lastic one.
20. To disconnect the a liance remove the lug from the wall
outlet.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
POLARIZED PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
Some a liances are equi ed with a olarized lug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this lug
will fit into the olarized outlet only one way. If the lug does not
ro erly fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit,
contact a com etent qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
For a liances equi ed with a standard lug, sim ly insert the lug
into the outlet without aying attention to the way you lug it.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short ower su ly cord is rovided to reduce the hazards resulting
from becoming entangled in, or tri ing over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
