Important safety Information
This product requires hot and cold water supply plus an
electrical connection (see Electrical section on page 10 for
details). This product is not an electric shower.
Products manufactured by Kelda Technology are safe and
without risk provided they are installed, used and maintained
in good working order in accordance with our instructions and
recommendations.
DO NOT operate the unit if the shower head becomes
damaged.
DO NOT restrict ow out of shower by placing an obstruction in
front of the shower head nozzles.
DO NOT allow children to play with thew shower
DO NOT allow children to use the shower without supervision
General
1. Read all of these instructions and retain them for later use.
2. DO NOT take risks with plumbing or electrical equipment.
3. Isolate electrical and water supplies before proceeding with
the installation.
4. The shower head must be cleaned regularly with descalant
to remove scale and debris. PLEASE SEE MAINTENANCE
SECTION.
5. This product is not suitable for mounting into steam rooms
or steam cubicles.
6. The shower should not be installed in an outdoor
environment, including sheltered areas.
Plumbing
1. The plumbing installation must comply with water
regulations, building regulations or any particular
regulations as specied by local water company or
water undertakers and should be in accordance with BS
EN 806 (Specications for installations inside buildings
conveying water for human consumption. Operation and
maintenance).
2. IMPORTANT! The hot and cold-water supply pipes must
be ushed to clear debris from before connecting to water
inlets on shower.
3. DO NOT solder pipes or ttings within the panel shower,
this could result in damage to the product. Use push t or
compression ttings.
4. DO NOT use excessive force when making connections to
the mixer.
5. All plumbing connections must be completed beforemaking
the electrical connections.
6. Water pressure. Kelda products are designed to operate up
to a maximum of 5 bar, if you wish to operate outside of this
please discuss with a Kelda Engineer.
Electrical
1. The installation must comply with BS 7671 ‘Requirements
for electrical installations’ (IEE wiring regulations), building
regulations or any particular regulations as specied by the
local electrical supply company.
2. In accordance with ‘The Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety)
Regulations 1994’, this appliance is intended to be
permanently connected to the xed wiring of the electrical
mains system.
3. A 32A 30 mA Residual Current Breaker Operator (RCBO)
MUST be installed in all UK electric and pumped shower
circuits. This may be part of the consumer unit or a
separate unit.
4. Each shower must be connected to a 3A switched fused
spur which is easily accessible. Switch o at fused spur
for maintenance or if not in use for extended periods. This
is a safety procedure recommended with all electrical
appliances.
5. Make sure all electrical connections are tight to prevent
overheating.
6. As with all electrical appliances it is recommended to
have the shower and installation checked at least every
two years by a competent electrician to ensure there is no
deterioration due to age and usage.
Lighting
BEWARE, this product uses a strobing eect at 72Hz. Should
anyone begin to feel unwell whilst using the strobing eect,
users are advised to switch to higher. Please see page x for
more details.

Description

A surface mounted shower system which uses Kelda’s patented
Bubble Technology. This system comes with an arm, a riser, a
handset and a glass shelf. The shelf uses TMV2 thermostatic
temperature control.

Exposed Installation
Use the measurements provided to mark out the holes for the
bracket and the Fixing Bracket. If cold and water inlets are present,
measure where the bracket holes would be from the inlets. Use the
Alignment Tool to help mark out the holes for the Fixing Bracket.

Drill the holes for the Arm Bracket. Then screw in the Arm
Bracket using the Rawl Plugs and Screws provided.

Screw the Fixing brackets and Spacer Bracket into the wall using
the provided Wall Screws and Rawl Plugs. The silicone padding
can be placed in between the wall and Fixing brackets to protect
the wall. The Alignment Tool can be used to assist with screwing
in the holes.

Insert an olive into the collars and screw the Collars onto the
Fixing Brackets.

prior to commencing installation!

Screw the Wall Arm onto the Vertical Arm using the screws
provided.

Place the Vertical Arm onto the shelf and the Arm Bracket. Then
screw the Arm onto the Arm Bracket.
Exposed Installation
Insert lters into the Collars and push the shelf onto the Collars.
Ensure the shelf is ush against the wall for a secure t.

Tighten the grub screws underneath the shelf.

Screw the BubbleSpa showerhead onto the Wall Arm using
an adjustable spanner. PTFE Tape may be added onto the
Threaded Adaptor to prevent leaks.

Screw the mounting bracket onto the wall using the wall plugs
and wall screws.
Slide the handset mount onto the mounting bracket until the
snap t clicks.

Using the mount bracket, mark out and drill the holes for the
screws. Ensure that the bracket is in the correct orientation (snap
t facing downward).

Exposed Installation
Screw the hose into the thread on the underside of the shelf.
Make sure that there is a washer inside of the hose before
screwing.

Screw the other side of the Hose onto the thread at the
bottom of the Handset. Ensure that there is a washer in the
hose and the ow regulator is inside the Handset before
screwing in the Hose.
Attach the Power Cable together and place the joint and cables
into the slots on the top of the head.

The installation of the Handset is complete. Place the Handset
onto the mount.

Run the shower to test the air and water supply. Whilst the
shower is running check the ball joint for any leaks

Electrical Installation
This shower requires a 100-240 VAC, 47 ~ 63Hz single phase supply. A single 3 Amp switched fused spur should be used
for each Panel. Up to 12 Kelda showers can run from a single 32A 30mA RCBO.
Before connecting to power supply, make sure that the mains terminal is able to sustain 240V and 3A. All electrical installation to
be carried out by an approved electrician in accordance with Part “P” U.K. Building Regulations and to the latest IEEE
standards, or the appropriate regulations in the country of installation.

Operation (Exposed Shelf System)
The outlet is selcted by pressing the button in towards the vlave body. The graphics on the top of the glass shelf denote
each outlet with the overhead Bubble Spa showerhead being on the left and the 3 Function handset being on the right.
Selecting an outlet
Adjusting the Temperature
The temperature is adjusted by rotating the temperarure control knob on the far right of the shelf valve body. Turn anti-
clockwise to increase the temperature of the Thermostatic Valve and clockwise to decrease the temperature.
The default temperature should be calibrated to the water system of the residence upon commissioning. If you desire a
temperature above 38⁰C press the ‘over temperature’ upstand button while rotating the temperature knob anti-clcokwise.
Selecting a handset mode
The 3- Function handset cycles through three modes, inner, outer and fast outer. Use the chrome button on the front of
the handle to cycle between modes.

Bubble eect light settings
Your Kelda Bubble Spa showerhead comes with a selection of light modes to give you a satisfying Bubble experience no
matter what your mood is or the time of day. The light modes can be activated both when the shower is on (Wet Working
mode) or when the shower is o (Dry Showroom mode).
Simply click through the modes using the iluminated button in the faceplate.

Dry ‘Showroom’ mode
Warning!
Air overrun function
The system has an air overrun function which allows the air to continue to operate for approximately 1 second after the
water ow stops. This function purges the water from the shower head, reducing the build up of lime-scale.
• To activate Showroom mode short press the button (1-2 seconds) with NO WATER
• Wet Working mode is automatically activated when water is turned on the Bubble Spa shower
• Short pressing the button will turn the light on/o regardless of what mode is currently selected. Once switched back
on the light will go to the most recently used mode
• If the water is turned on while the Showroom mode is still engaged the lights will change to Bubble Mode 1, 4 or 7 –
matching the level brightness.
• The Bubble Spa shower will ‘remember’ the last light mode used during the previous shower session. Once a new
shower session begins the last used Bubble mode will be applied. If Showroom mode is activated between shower
sessions, then the previously used wet working mode will not be ‘remembered’.
Diagnostic Function
Long press the button (5 seconds) to engage the diagnostic tool. During this function the main light array will ash x times
to conrm this mode has been initiated - to exit press and hold.........
Strobing Warning!
!
This product uses a strobing eect at 72Hz (Bubble mode 1, 4 and 7). Although
this is above the ‘triggering zone’ this may cause discomfort to come people.
Should anyone experience discomfort, users are advised to change bubble
modes or switch o the LED.
