your amateurcommunicationssystem. Itprovidesexcellent
performancewhen usedwith any
KENWOOD transceiver,
thereby upgradingyour existingsystem.
The zinc die-cast baseoffers improvedstability and is
completewith a feather-touch
PTT switch, an impedance
selector switch, anda built-inpreamplifier.
The microphone is constructedof precisionparts. Do not
open the microphoneas it may result inserious damage.
The microphoneissensitiveto shockandvibration. Treat

Installing the Batteries
1 Removethe 4 screwsfromthe baseof the
rrricrophoneand gently separate the basefrom the
rr~icrophoneunit.
2 Inserttwo AA batteries into the battery compartment,
beingsureto matchthe polaritieswith those marked in
the compartment.
3 Replacethe 4 screws.
Note: If your transceiversupplies power through its microphone
connector,you do not need to installthe two
AA batteries.

standto the rear of the microphone.
