This rrricrophone has been designed expressly for usewith
your amateurcommunicationssystem. Itprovidesexcellent
performancewhen usedwith any

transceiver,
thereby upgradingyour existingsystem.
The zinc die-cast baseoffers improvedstability and is
completewith a feather-touch
PTT
switch, an impedance
selector switch, anda built-inpreamplifier.
The microphone is constructedof precisionparts. Do not
open the microphoneas it may result inserious damage.
The microphoneissensitiveto shockandvibration. Treat
itwith care.

Installing the Batteries

Removethe
4
screwsfromthe baseof the
rrricrophoneand gently separate the basefrom the
rr~icrophoneunit.
2 Inserttwo AA batteries into the battery compartment,
beingsureto matchthe polaritieswith those marked in
the compartment.

Replacethe
4
screws.
Note:
If
your transceiversupplies power through its microphone
connector,you do not need to installthe two
AA
batteries.
