1.1 Informationen zum Gebrauch der Betriebsanleitung /
Information on the use of the operating instructions
Sehr geehrte Kundinnen und Kunden,
vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Produkt der Kesseböhmer Ergonomietechnik GmbH entschieden
haben. Alle Produkte der Kesseböhmer Ergonomietechnik GmbH sind bezüglich Sicherheit auf
dem neuesten Stand der Technik. Die Steuerung dient der elektrischen Höhenverstellung von
Tischen. Mit dieser Bedienungsanleitung wird dem Montagepersonal und Anwender ein gefahr-
loser Umgang mit der Steuerung ermöglicht.
fDiese Bedienungsanleitung dient als Ergänzung zur Bedienungsanleitung ControlBasic und
ControlAdvance unter besonderer Berücksichtigung folgender Kapitel:

1 General information
1.1 Information on the use of the operating instructions
Dear customers,
Thank you for choosing a product from Kesseböhmer Ergonomietechnik GmbH. All Kesseböhmer
Ergonomietechnik GmbH products are state-of-the-art in terms of safety. The control system is
used for electrical height adjustment of tables. These operating instructions enable the installati-
on personnel and users to handle the control system safely.

operating instructions, with special consideration of the following chapters:

Die Produkte werden in hohen Stückzahlen an den Tischhersteller geliefert und können in Kunst-
stoff oder Karton verpackt sein.
1. Entfernen Sie Karton und Kunststofffolie.
2. Überprüfen Sie den Inhalt der Packung auf Vollständigkeit und Beschädigungen.
3. Trennen Sie Kunststoeile und Karton sortenrein. Entsorgen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial
umweltgerecht.
4. Legen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung für das Montagepersonal bereit.
3 Unpacking
The products are delivered in large quantities to the table manufacturer and can be packed in
plastic or cardboard.
1. Remove cardboard and plastic film.
2. Check the contents of the package for completeness and damage.
3. Separate plastic parts and cardboard according to type. Dispose of the packing material in an
environmentally friendly manner.
4. Make the operating instructions available to the installation personnel.
4 Montage / Installation
Die Montage des Handschalters erfolgt an der Tischplatte. Zur Montage benötigen Sie folgendes
Werkzeug:

tSchraubendreher
fAchten Sie auf ausreichenden Abstand zu anderen Anbauteilen (z.B.
Plattenträger).
fAchten Sie auf die lagerichtige Montage des Handschalters! Der Kabelab-
gang führt von der Tischkante weg!

1. Markieren Sie die Bohrlöcher mit einem Bleisti (siehe Montageskizze).
2. Bohren Sie an den markierten Stellen durch die Tischplatte.
3. Führen Sie das Anschlußkabel durch die Bohrungen.
4. Stecken Sie den Handschalter bis zum Anschlag in die Bohrungen

2. Bohren Sie an den markierten Stellen durch die Tischplatte.
3. Befestigen Sie den Handschalter an der Tischplatte.
4 Installation
The handset is installed on the table top. For installation, you need the following tools:

1. Mark the drill holes with a pencil (see installation sketch).
2. Drill through the tabletop at the marked locations.
3. Pass the connection cable through the holes.
4. Insert the handset into the holes as far as it will go.

f Make sure there is sufficient distance from other attachments (e.g.
support bar).
f Pay attention to the correct positioning of the handset during installation!

Die Tischplatte bewegt sich solange nach oben bzw. unten, bis Sie die Taste
loslassen oder bis die maximale bzw. minimale Tischplattenhöhe erreicht ist.
Hinweis
Der Handschalter sollte nicht unterhalb oder in direkter Nähe von Metallteilen
montiert werden.
Hinweis
Der Handschalter wurde nach EG-Standardnorm EN 61000-4-3:2006 +
A1:2008 + A2:2010 auf Störfestigkeit gegen hochfrequente elektromag-
netische Felder geprü. Um einen störungsfreien Betreib zu gewährleisten
müssen alle im Umgebungsbereich befindlichen Elektrogeräte die Grenzwerte
der Prüfnormen EN55014 einhalten.

Reset ist der Auffahrschutz ISP inaktiv.
fAchten Sie darauf, dass sich keine Gegenstände oder Personen im
Gefahrenbereich (Sicherheitsabstand > 25 mm) befinden und nicht in den
Gefahrenbereich gegriffen wird.

5.3.2 Rücksetzung Werkseinstellungen /
Restoring to factory settings
Um die Steuerung auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Beenden sie den Energiesparmodus der Steuerung indem Sie die AUF- oder AB-Taste kurz
drücken.
2. Halten Sie die AUF- und AB-Taste ca. 3 Sekunden lang gleichzeitig gedrückt bis die Reset-
Fahrt beginnt.
3. Lassen Sie während der Reset-Fahrt beide Tasten los.
4. Drücken Sie Die AUF-Taste für ca. 10 Sekunden. Die Bestätigung erfolgt durch ein Klick-
geräusch der Steuerung. Lassen Sie danach die Taste los.
5. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker für mindestens 30 Sekunden. Stecken Sie danach den Netz-
stecker wieder in die Steckdose.
6. Führen Sie eine Reset-Fahrt durch, siehe Kapitel 5.2.3 Reset, Seite 16.
5.3.2 Restoring to factory settings
To restore the control system to the factory settings, proceed as follows:
1. Exit the energy-saving mode of the control system by briefly pressing the UP or DOWN
button.
2. Hold down the UP and DOWN button simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds until
the reset starts.
3. Release both buttons during the reset.
4. Press the UP button for about 10 seconds. Confirmation is signaled by a clicking sound
of the control system. Release the button.
5. Disconnect the power plug for at least 30 seconds. Then plug the power plug back into
the socket.
6. Perform a reset, see chapter 5.2.3 Reset, page 17.
5.3.3 Reset
Bei der Erstinbetriebnahme des Antriebssystems ist eine Reset-Fahrt erforderlich. Durch den
Reset werden, z.B. bei einem Tisch, alle Säulen auf das gleiche Niveau in mittlerer Tischposition
gebracht. Damit wird gewährleistet, dass die Tischplatte parallel zur Grundebene verfahren wird.
Zudem speichert die Steuerung in der Standardausführung die Anzahl und den Typ der ange-
schlossenen Komponenten (Säulen) und einen eventuell angeschlossenen Sensor. Nach dem
Reset werden Konfigurationsänderungen erkannt und als Fehler gewertet. Das System verfährt
nicht mehr bis der abgespeicherte Zustand wiederhergestellt ist. Soll die Steuerung dauerha für

eine veränderte Konfiguration verwendet werden, ist eine Rücksetzung auf die Werkseinstellungen
wie in Kaptiel 5.2.2, Seite 15 beschrieben, erforderlich.
Zur Durchführung einer Reset-Fahrt gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Beenden Sie den Energiesparmodus der Steuerung, indem Sie die AUF- oder AB-Taste kurz
drücken.
2. Halten Sie die AUF- und AB-Taste gleichzeitig gedrückt. Nach ca. 3 Sekunden beginnt die
Reset-Fahrt. Die Tasten so lange gedrückt halten, bis das Erreichen der Resetposition durch ein
doppeltes Klickgeräusch der Steuerung quitiert wird.
3. Jetzt die Tasten loslassen.
5.3.3 Reset
When starting up the operating system for the first time, a reset is required. Through the reset,
e.g. with a table, all columns are brought to the same level in the middle table position. This
ensures that the table top moves parallel to the ground. In addition, the standard version of the
control system saves the number and type of connected components (columns) and any
connected sensor. Aer the reset, configuration changes are detected and classified as errors.
The system will not move until the saved state is restored. If the control system is to be used
permanently with a changed configuration, a reset to the factory settings as described in chapter
5.2.2, page 16 is required.

des Tisches.
·Befindet sich der Tisch oberhalb der Resetposition, verfährt der Tisch erst
unter die Resetposition und dann von unten auf die Resetposition.
·Befindet der Tisch sich unterhalb der Resetposition, fährt der Tisch nach
oben in die Resetposition.
·Befindet sich eine Säule des Tisches über der Resetposition und die
andere Säule unter der Resetposition, verfährt erst die Säule, die sich
über der Resetposition befindet unter die Resetposition. Dann fahren
beide Säulen von unten in die Resetposition.
·Jede Säule führt ihre eigene Resetfahrt durch. Das bedeutet wenn eine
Säule weitereingefahren ist als die andere, erreicht die Säule den Reset-
punkt früher und schließt die Resetfahrt auch früher ab als die andere
Säule.

fVerwenden Sie keine Lösungs- oder Scheuermittel.
fVerwenden Sie für die Reinigung ausschließlich trockene, weiche Tücher.

pushed in further than the other, the column will reach the reset point
sooner and will complete the reset sooner than the other column.

To perform a reset, proceed as follows:
1. Exit the energy-saving mode of the control system by briefly pressing the UP or DOWN button.
2. Hold down the UP and DOWN buttons at the same time. Aer approx. 3 seconds, the reset
starts. Keep the buttons pressed until the reaching of the reset position is confirmed by a
double clicking sound from the control system.
3. Now release the buttons.

fHalten Sie die Handschalter und Steckverbindungen stets frei von Staubablagerungen!

7 Entsorgung / Disposal
Information zur Entsorgung von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten in der Europäischen
Union:
Innerhalb der Europäischen Union wird für elektrisch betriebene Geräte die
Entsorgung durch nationale Regelungen vorgegeben, die auf der EU-Richtlinie
2012/19/EU über Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) basieren. Danach darf das
Gerät nicht mehr mit dem kommunalen Müll oder Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Das Gerät wird bei den kommunalen Sammelstellen bzw. Wertstoffhöfen
kostenlos entgegengenommen. Die Produktverpackung besteht aus recycling-
fähigen Materialien. Entsorgen Sie diese umweltgerecht und führen diese der
Wiederverwertung zu.
