2.0 Usage
The car seat has been designed, tested and approved for use in accordance
with the requirements of UN/ECE Regulation No. 129 concerning the
approval of child improved restraint systems (UN/ECE R129/03).
The MINK PRO car seat is designed for children of a body size from 40 cm to
75 cm.
Maximum weight of the child: 13 kg.








The car seat must be installed rearward facing (RWF) in the vehicle on the
ISOFIX MINK FX base or with the use of the three-point car seat belt. The car
seat can be installed in the car in the places indicated by the manufacturer in
the vehicle manual. It is required to read the vehicle manufacturer's operating
instructions. The child in the car seat is secured with internal safety harness.
ATTENTION! Never use the car seat in a forward facing position.
ATTENTION! If the child exceeds the maximum length of the body, stop using
the car seat.
In order to set the car seat handle in the desired position, press the car seat
handle adjustment button on both sides at the same time. After unlocking the
handle, release these buttons and set the handle in a desired position. The
handle should be automatically locked (fig. A.1)
The handle of the car seat can be locked in four positions shown in the table
on the left side. (fig. A.2)

3.0 Safety instructions
WARNINGS
Please take a few minutes to read this instruction manual in order to ensure
the proper safety of your child. Many injuries that are easy to avoid are caused
by reckless and improper usage of the car seat.
• The car seat is designed to be installed only on forward facing vehicle seats.
The car seat must not be installed on rearward facing or side facing vehicle
seats. The car seat must always be attached to the base or secured with the
three-point car seat belt (fig. A.4).
• A car seat MUST NOT be placed on seats with an active front air-bag as this
could be dangerous. This does not apply to the side air-bags (fig. A.5).
• If the car seat is installed in the front seat, the front air-bag must be
deactivated. It is recommended to install the car seat only on the vehicle back
seats. Please refer to your vehicle operating manual for information on the
suitability of the vehicle seat for use with a car seat.

• Remember that the internal safety harness holding the child should be
adjusted to the child's body shape and not twisted. For this reason, the
child should not wear thick clothes under the safety harness.
• The car seat should be replaced when it has been subjected to violent
stresses during a traffic accident.
• The car seat may not be modified in any way without the acceptance of
the relevant approval authority. Failure to install the car seat in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions may pose a threat to life and health.
• Protect the car seat from direct sunlight, otherwise your child may be
burnt by heated parts. Protect your child and the car seat from sunlight.
• Never leave your child unattended in the car seat.
• Make sure that luggage and other objects are adequately secured, in
particular on the shelf under the rear window, as they can cause injuries in
the event of a collision.
• The car seat cannot be used without the cover.
• Do not use replacement covers, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer, as the cover is an integral part of the safety system of the
car seat.
• Do not use any other attachment points than those described in the
instruction manual and marked on the car seat.
• All hard parts and plastic parts of a car seat must be positioned and installed
in a way that prevents them from being trapped by a sliding seat or vehicle
door under normal vehicle operating conditions.
• Regularly check the technical condition of the car seat, pay special attention
to the fixing points, seams and adjusting elements. It is important to ensure
that all mechanical elements are fully operational. Never grease or oil parts of
the car seat.
• Do not use the car seat if its parts are damaged or loose.
• In the event of an emergency, it is important to quickly unfasten the seat
belt. This means that the release button of the safety harness is not fully
secured; make sure your child does not play with the safety harness.
• Set a good example for your child and wear your car seat belt at all times. An
adult who is not fastened with a car seat belt can also pose a threat to a child.
•Make sure that the car seat is correctly secured before each journey in the
car.
• The car seat must be secured at all times, even when not in use.

The car seat that is not secured can injure the passengers even during
emergency braking.

Using the car seat as a baby bouncer (EN 12790-1:2023 standard)
WARNING
● Never leave your child unattended.
● Stop using the product when your child starts to sit up.
● Never use this product on raised surfaces (e.g. on a table).
Always use the safety harness.
● Never let your child sleep in this product. This product is not a substitute for
a cot or bed. If your baby needs to sleep, it should be placed in a proper cot
or bed.
● Do not use the product if any of its components are damaged or missing.
● Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those
recommended by the manufacturer

4.0 Use of insert
The insert (3) serves to support and protect the head and back of a very small
child. The insert prevents the child from collapsing inside or sliding down and
ensures a proper physiological position of the child in the car seat.
4.1. Installation of the insert (fig. B.1)
•Unfasten the internal safety harness (8) by pressing the red button on the
buckle (7).
•Place the insert in the car seat so that it adheres to the sides.
•Adjust the position of the safety harness by guiding it under the headrest part
of the insert.
4.2 Adjustment of the insert to the child's height
When the child reaches the height of 60 cm, the insert (3) must be removed to
give the child more space inside the car seat (fig. B.2).


5.0 Installation in the vehicle
In the event of sudden braking or an accident, people not wearing car seat
belts may injure other passengers.
Always check whether:
• The seat backrests in the vehicle are locked (i.e. the folding backrest of the
rear seat is latched).
• All heavy and sharp-edged items are secured (e.g. on the rear shelf).
• All passengers have fastened their car seat belts.
• The car seat is always secured even if the child is not transported in it.

5.1 Rearward facing car seat installation for
children between 40 and 75 cm using the ISOFIX
MINK FX base
5.1.1 installation of the ISOFIX MINK FX base
•Unfold the base support leg (18) (fig. C.1).
•While holding down the ISOFIX connector release button (16) (fig. C.2), pull
the connector out of the base (19) as far as possible (fig. C.2). Repeat it on
the other side of the base.
•Place the base on the vehicle seat and hook the ISOFIX base connectors
(16) into the car connectors. You will hear a click and the indicators should
turn green (fig. C.3).
•Move the base as close to the backrest of the seat as possible. When
moving the base, make swinging movements - alternately move one side,
then the other, until the base fits evenly to the backrest of the seat (fig.
C.4).


ATTENTION! With a properly installed base there is no gap between the
backrest of the vehicle seat and the shell of the base (fig. C.5).
•Press the base support leg extension release buttons (fig. C.6). Adjust its
length until it touches the floor of the car (fig. C.6). The indicators at the
bottom of the support leg (20) should turn green. If they turn red, repeat
this step.
ATTENTION! The properly positioned support leg should be slightly inclined
forward (fig. C.6). In a correctly positioned leg, the indicators should be green.
If the indicator at the bottom of the support leg is red, it must be repositioned.
ATTENTION! Never install the support leg on the storage compartment in the
floor of the car. It may tear the storage compartment in the event of an
accident and reduce the safety provided by the base.

 

5.1.2 Installation of the car seat on the ISOFIX
MINK FX base
Place the car seat on the base as shown in figure C.7. Position the car seat
perpendicularly to the base - you will hear a click.
ATTENTION! The car seat can be installed on the base in the rearward facing
position only (fig. C.8).
The car seat is installed correctly when the indicator on the base (20) turns
green. If the indicator on the base is red, the car seat should be reinstalled.

5.1.3 Removing the car seat from the ISOFIX base
and removing the base
In order to remove the car seat from the base, move the lever (17) to the left
and hold it, then press the button (2) to release the seat. (fig. C.9, C.10)
To remove the ISOFIX base, first fold the leg extension while pressing the
release button (fig. C.11). Then, while pressing both ISOFIX connector release
buttons, pull the base towards you (fig. C.13). This way the ISOFIX connectors
(15) will come out. Now pull the buttons on the connectors towards you (fig.
C.12). The ISOFIX base connectors and the vehicle seat connectors shall
disengage. You can remove the ISOFIX base from the vehicle.
 

5.2 Forward facing car seat installation for
children between 40 and 75 cm using the car seat
belt
ATTENTION! The car seat must be installed in the rearward facing position.
ATTENTION! Never install the car seat on a seat with an active front air-bag.
ATTENTION! Before starting the installation, make sure that the seat is
equipped with a three-point car seat belt. This refers especially to the middle
seat.
•Set the handle of the car seat (1) in the carrying position (fig. A.2), and
then place the car seat on the back seat of the car in close proximity to
the backrest of the back seat. The car seat should be placed in the
rearward facing position (fig. D.1).
•Extend the car seat belt as far as possible. Pull the car seat belt through
both waist safety harness guides (marked green) in the car seat and
fasten the car seat belt buckle (fig. D.1).
•Pull the shoulder part of the car seat belt through the shoulder car seat
belt guide (14) marked green, located at the back of the car seat (fig.
D.1).


•For maximum tightness of the car seat belt, pull its waist part towards
the car seat belt buckle and the shoulder part in the opposite direction.
First tighten the waist section of the belt, and then the shoulder section.
•Set the handle of the car seat (1) to the position for installation with the
use of car seat belt (fig. D.2).
ATTENTION! Make sure that the car seat belt is correctly guided, tightened,
not twisted and has not slipped off the guides (fig. D.2). ATTENTION! Make
sure the position of the car seat is set well and stable.


6.0 Using the sun shade
The sun shade (13) is used to prevent direct sunlight on the child's face.
6.1 Installation of the sun shade
•Set the car seat handle (1) to the carrying position (fig. A.2).
•Place the fastener of the sun shade in the appropriate place on the
handle of the car seat (fig. E.1).
To remove the sun shade, follow the above steps in reverse order.
6.2 Unfolding and folding the sun shade
When using the sun shade, first place the set in the carrying position (fig. A.2)
and then attach the sun shade to it. When the sun shade is not in use, release
the hooks from the handle and tilt it back to expose the inside of the car seat.

7.0 Using the car seat
7.1 Adjusting the position of the internal safety
harness and the headrest
The adjustment of the car seat safety harness is integrated with the adjustment
of the headrest. The headrest should be adjusted according to the child's
height. The height of the safety harness will change with the height of the
headrest. Adjust the appropriate height of the shoulder part of the safety
harness so that the harness enters the seat backrest at the height of the child's
shoulders or slightly above (fig. E.2).

In order to correctly position the child's head, make sure that the lower part of
the headrest is in line with the child's chin (fig. E.4). Before changing the
position of the headrest, loosen the inner belts (point 7.2) by pressing the
adjustment button while pulling the shoulder straps towards you.
• In order to raise the headrest and internal shoulder safety harness, pull the
headrest adjustment handle until it unlocks (fig. E.3). The headrest and
shoulder safety harness will be raised at the same time.
• In order to lower the headrest and shoulder safety harness, pull the headrest
adjustment handle and lower the headrest (fig. E.3). The headrest and shoulder
safety harness will be lowered at the same time.
ATTENTION! Proper adjustment of the headrest height has a direct impact on
the child's safety.

7.2 Adjusting the length of the internal safety
harness and fastening the child in the car seat
•Adjust the position of the internal safety harness to the correct height
(see point 7.1)
•Place the car seat on a level surface and set the handle (1) to the position
for placing the child in the cat seat.
•Unfasten the internal safety harness - press the red button on the
internal safety harness buckle (7), (fig. E.4).
•Loosen the internal safety harness - press and hold the internal safety
harness adjustment button (5) while pulling the safety harness towards
you (fig. E.5).
•Set both buckle latches aside. This will make room for the child in the car
seat (fig. E.6).
•Put the child in the car seat
•Fasten the internal safety harness


•Put the child in the car seat and fasten the internal safety harness (fig.
E.7) - fold both buckle latches together to engage them, then insert them
into the buckle hole (7). A “click” sound will be heard to indicate that the
buckle is locked (fig. E.7). Make sure that the child is correctly placed in
the car seat, with the back completely adjacent to the car seat.
•Tighten the internal safety harness - pull the internal safety harness
adjustment strap (5) in the direction of the arrow (fig. E.8) located at the
front of the car seat until the safety harness fits close to the child's body.
ATTENTION! Proper tension of the safety harness is ensured if the space
between the shoulder part of the safety harness and the child's chest
does not exceed approximately 1 cm (thickness of a finger), (fig. E.9).
•Loosening the safety harness - press and hold the adjustment button on
the front of the car seat and simultaneously pull both safety harness
straps towards you.
•Fastening the safety harness - pull the middle strap at the front of the car
seat down until the seat belt adjusts to the child's body. Make sure the
waist part of the safety harness runs low so that the pelvis is held
securely.
ATTENTION! Make sure that the safety harness is not twisted or crossed (fig.
E.10).

