1. Concise description of the TOUCHCONTROL
The Klafs TOUCHCONTROL system offers you the possibility of comfortably operating your sauna
cabins. For various bathing types, there are preset standard Experience Programmes for your use.
You can adjust the settings of each standard program. These adjustments are stored in an individual
program.
The operating values of the cabins are changeable within the allowed adjustment ranges from the
control panel before and during the operation.
Depending on bathing type the following choices are available:
dTemperature.
dStart- and operational period.
dAir humidity.
dSpecial features such as for example AQUAVIVA.
.Functions can be activated depending on the cabin version.
Each type of bath in your Klafs sauna cabin should benefit your health and well-being.
Therefore: Bathe for the benefit of your health and your well-being!
This applies to:
dTemperature.
dBath duration.
dHumidity.
Orientate yourself not only on the given bathing times, but also on your condition.
Leave the cabin as soon as you no longer feel well.

2. Intended Use
The TOUCHCONTROL is designed for the wellness facilities tested and authorised by Klafs in
accordance with VDE (German Association for Electrics, Electronics and IT Technology e.V.) or TÜV
(Technical Control Association regulations).
The TOUCHCONTROL system is to be used only as intended. Adherence to the instructions for
operation, assembly and service as prescribed by the manufacturer is required as well.
The manufacturer is not responsible for the damage resulting from unauthorised use or arbitrary
changes to the control system. The user alone carries the risk.
The control system may only be operated and maintained by persons, who are familiar with its usage
and informed of the dangers involved. Follow the relevant German VDE regulations as well as other
generally recognized safety rules!
3. General safety information
Read and observe the operating and safety instructions before start-up!
dBefore opening the control system housing remove the power from the control system!
dInform Klafs Customer Service of problems that a certified electrician cannot repair!
dUse original Klafs spare parts only!
dArbitrary changes to the control system are not allowed!
dInstall the control system, in accordance with the assembly instructions!
dElectrical wiring inside the cabin and the cabin walls must have silicone insulation.
dBefore activating the control system always make sure that no inflammable objects are on or near
the sauna heater. FIRE RISK!
dDo not use the sauna to dry your laundry!
dNever pour concentrated aromatic oils or extracts directly onto the sauna heater. Only use the
indicated concentration (approx. 20-30 drops to 1 litre of water)!
dAs infusion agent it is only permissible to use Klafs' aromatic extract!
dNever store the bottle containing aromatic oils or infusion agent in the sauna cabin!
dRegularly check the sauna heater for damage.
dNever pour herbal extracts, as used in Softclima mode, directly into the evaporator. Outside of
the cabin, fill the evaporator bowl a quarter full with water and add the herbal extracts drop by
drop in accordance with the instructions on the bottle. Then put the evaporator bowl back on the
water tank!

.The cabin selection is displayed only if there is a choice to select between several cabins.
Otherwise the TOUCHCONTROL system starts with the bathing type selection.
Button: Function:
1. Touchscreen Touch-sensitive display and control monitor.
2. Current display Display of menus, menu overview, overview of current settings, as
well as explanations. Current values can be viewed or modified in
this field.
3. Main menu bar Change directly to the respective submenus with this bar.
.The menu bar can be different depending on the respective
menu.
4. Service Settings .The button for Service Settings is displayed only with the Cabin
Selection.
Press button in the menu Cabin Selection - switch to the submenu
Service Settings.

1. Touch the Touchscreen.
.The display shows a cabin selection (see above) i.e. the bathing type.

TOUCHCONTROL Press button - switch Off the control system.
2. Cabin Lighting Press button - switch to the submenu Cabin Lighting or switch the
illumination of the selected cabin On or Off.
3. Back Press button - return to previous menu.
4. Help Press button - call up Help for the current menu.
5. Wellness ABC Press button - display of interesting information concerning the topic
Sauna.
6. Medical effect Press button - display of the respective type of sauna, bathing type
etc., explanation of the corresponding medical effect.
7. Start Press button - start the selected programme.
8. Time The button displays the current time.
Press button - call up menu to set the time/clock.

with +/- buttons (5-minute increments) or
with the controller (2).

7.15. Saving Own Settings
1. Select menu Save with button (N).
2. Select storage location. To do this overwrite the
existing programme (3) or create new
programme (4).
3. Enter name (5) for new programme. Cancel
input/s with arrow button (6).
4. Confirm input by pressing button (7).
5. After this, the programme may be called up in
the menu Bathing Types.

1. Select the button Service Settings (A). The menu Service Settings is displayed for selecting further
submenus.

8.8. Cleaning the screen
Clean TOUCHCONTROL at regular intervals.
For cleaning do not use any cloth made of microfibre!
Clean with a mild soap, water and a soft cloth.
Stubborn residue can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.
1. Press button for screen cleaning (H).
2. The touch panel is deactivated for 30 seconds.
Clean screen now.
.The touch panel displays the time remaining.

9.1. Error indication on the display
The Display shows the Error Messages of the sauna/s.
Repair and maintenance is to be carried out exclusively by Klafs Service personnel or
by a technician expressly authorised by Klafs!

10.1. Cleaning the TOUCHCONTROL unit
Clean the TOUCHCONTROL unit at regular intervals.
