INSTALACIÓN Y FUNCIONAMIENTO
Verique que el acople del equipo sea el mismo
que posee el cavitador Gema , luego controle
que salga aire y agua por el conector, enrosque la
tuerca del acople en sentido horario y ajuste.
Seleccione el inserto y rósquelo en sentido ho-
rario manualmente (g. 1) y ajuste con la llave
provista.
La llave extractora esta diseñada para proteger
las puntas en el momento de intercambio y/o
cuando el instrumento se encuentra en el so-
porte del equipo.
Para el funcionamiento correcto la presión de aire
debe ser de 2,10 kg/cm2 o 30 p.s.i. Una vez regu-
lada la presión de aire, hacer funcionar el cavita-
dor sin agua y abra lentamente el paso del agua
hasta que forme una na llovizna en la punta.
Es imprescindible procurar un aire comprimido
seco y limpio.
DESINFECCIÓN Y ESTERILIZACIÓN
Desacoplar el cavitador del equipo.Limpiar el
mismo exteriormente con alcohol u otra solución
desinfectante.
NO SUMERGIR EN SOLUCIONES DESINFEC-
TANTES
Lubricar el cavitador con spray KMD inyectado
durante 2 seg. Envolver en papel. Esterilizar en
autoclave hasta 135ºC (275ºF) durante un ciclo.
Retirar el instrumento y acoplarlo a la línea de
aire accionando el mismo durante unos segun-
dos así se eliminará el excedente de aceite.
MANTENIMIENTO
Es necesario lubricar después de cada jornada
de trabajo. Recomendamos usar aceite KMD
spray inyectándolo durante 2 seg. siguiendo la
indicación de la gura A.
Para destapar los pasos de agua: en el caso de
la punta: inyecte aire con la jeringa
por el circuito de agua; si con esto no es su-
ciente, utilizar la sonda provista según g. 2.
En el caso del instrumento: inyecte aire con la
jeringa por el circuito de agua según g 3.

INSTALLATION AND WORKING
Verify that the coupling of equipment is the
same one which Air Scaler Gema has got, then
control that the air and water get out through the
connector, twist the nut of coupling clockwise
and fasten.
Then choose the inserted and screw manually
clockwise (Fig 1) and adjust with the wrench
provided.
The extractor key is designed to protect the
points at the moment of interchanging and/
or when the instrument is in the base of the
equipment.
For a correct working of the air scaler Gema
the air pressure has to be from 2,10 kg/cm2 or
30 p.s.i. Once regulated the air pressure, make
working the air scaler without water, slowly add
the step of water until it forms a ne drizzle in
the tip.It is indispensable to supply dry and clean
compressed air.
DESINFECTION AND STERILIZATION:
Disconnect the air scaler from the equipment.
Clean it’s external parts with alcohol or another
desinfectant solution.
DO NOT SUBMERGE IT IN DESINFECTANT
SOLUTION.
Lubricate the air scaler with KMD spray oil in-
jected during two seconds. Sterilize in autoclave
up to 135ºc (275ºF) during one cycle.
Withdraw the instrument and connect it to the
line of air, operating the same during some
seconds, so will be eliminate the oil exceeding.
MAINTENANCE
Lubricate after every working day with our KMD
Spray Oil or another similar product apt to air
scaler .
We recommend using KMD Spray Oil, which
must be injected for two seconds, following the
indication of the gure A.
Lubricate: To uncover the passages of water:
In the case of the point: inject air with the sy-
ringe through the water circuit; if it is not enough
with it, use the sound suplied. (g. 2)
In the case of the instrument: inject air with the
syringe through the circuit of water. (g. 3)

INSTALACIÓN Y FUNCIONAMIENTO
Verique que el acople del equipo sea el mismo
que posee el cavitador Gema, colocar el instru-
mento en el acoplamiento y apretar hacia atrás
hasta que gatille.
Luego seleccione el inserto y rósquelo en
sentido horario manualmente (g. 1) y ajuste
con la llave provista.
La llave extractora esta diseñada para proteger
las puntas en el momento de intercambio y/o
cuando el instrumento se encuentra en el
soporte del equipo.
Para el funcionamiento correcto la presión de
aire debe ser de 2,80 kg/cm2 o 40 p.s.i. Una vez
regulada la presión de aire, hacer funcionar el
cavitador sin agua agregue lentamente el paso
del agua hasta que forme una na llovizna en
la punta.
Es imprescindible procurar un aire comprimido
seco y limpio .
DESINFECCIÓN Y ESTERILIZACIÓN
Desacoplar el cavitador del equipo.
Limpiar el mismo exteriormente con alcohol u
otra solución desinfectante
NO SUMERGIR EN SOLUCIONES DESINFEC-
TANTES
Lubricar el cavitador con spray KMD inyectado
durante 2 seg.
Envolver en papel.
Esterilizar en autoclave hasta 135ºC (275ºF)
durante un ciclo.
Retirar el instrumento y acoplarlo a la línea de
aire accionando el mismo durante unos segun-
dos así se eliminara el excedente de aceite.
