Ensure to read all instructions and warnings in this user guide prior to first use. Retain this
user guide for future reference.
•This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe
way by the person responsible for their safety, and understand the hazards involved.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the fan as a toy.
•Always use a separate outlet according to the current / voltage of the fan. Do not use a
multi-purpose socket for simultaneous use with other electrical devices.
•If the fan does not work due to a damaged power cord, turn off the power and ask a
qualified person for repair.
•Do not move the fan when you pull the plug out of the socket.
•Do not pull out the plug by the cable. Pull out the plug and do not grip the cable.
•Do not operate the fan with a damaged cable or connector. Please contact customer
service to replace or repair the cable if the cable is damaged.
•Do not stretch or energize the cable. Keep the cable away from the heat source.
•Do not run the cable under carpets, do not cover it with carpets or similar covers. Route
the cable outside the traffic area to avoid tripping the cable.
•Turn off all controls before pulling the plug and pull the plug out of the socket if you are
not going to use the device for a long time.
•Do not place any objects on the air inlet or outlet. Make sure that the ventilation
openings are free of dust, lint, hair and other obstacles that could impair the airflow.
•The fan should be set up dry on a horizontal platform and should not be near heat
sources, corrosive air and moisture. The fan should be kept a distance of 150mm around
to ensure good air circulation.
•Do not use the fan outdoors or on a wet surface.
•Do not immerse the fan, power cord or plugin water or other liquids to avoid danger.
The use of an extension cord is not recommended unless it has been tested by a
qualified person.
•Do not use an air cleaner or similar product right next to the fan.
•Do not use any cleaning agents or lubricants for this fan and pull out the power plug
before cleaning, transporting and servicing the device.

•Swallowing may lead to serious injury or death in as
little as 2 hours, due to chemical burns and potential
perforation of the oesophagus.
•If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a
button battery immediately call the 24-hour Poisons
Information Centre on 13 11 26 (Australia) or 0800 764
766 (New Zealand) for fast, expert advice.
•Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment Is correctly secured, e.g.
that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is
not secure.
•Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be
dangerous.
•Tell others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their
children safe.

•Please use the fan on a flat platform. Do not place the fan in an unstable place, such
as an inclined or soft surface, to avoid damage or malfunctions caused by the fan
tipping over.
•Avoid blocking the air inlet when using. Stay away from the curtains to avoid objects
blocking the air inlet and the fan not working.
•Do not place any objects within 30 cm of the air outlet, otherwise the blower effect will
be impaired.
Filter replacement
This machine is equipped with an air cleaning filter.
Before using the fan, the filter should be installed in the fan so that the air can be cleaned.

Installation and replacement method of air cleaning filter:
1. Turn the filter system top cover
counterclockwise to unlock and
remove the filter.
2. Disconnect the old filter from the top
cover.
3. The new filter and top cover are
attached and assembled with a
buckle.
4. After assembling, put it back in the
main unit and turn it clockwise to
secure it.
Auto reminder of Filter Replacing
•The fan has a memory function. After a total of 720 hours of operation, the display (as
shown above) lights up cycle indicator light when turned on, the buzzer sounds 5 times
and the status is displayed after 5 seconds.
•After replacing the filter screen, the power button on the remote-control device can
clear the alarm for 5 seconds and the operating time is reset again.

Remote Control
The device can be switched on and off by pressing the “ON & OFF”
button.
Press the “strong mode” button on the remote control.
The display will show H and the airflow strength will increase.
Press again to exit strong airflow mode. (You can also exit the current
mode by pressing the “+ -” Exit button.)
Press the “Quiet mode” button on the remote control.
The display shows “L” and the airflow force is reduced.
Press again to exit the night sleep mode.
(You can also exit the current mode by pressing the “+ -” Exit button.)
Press the Oscillation button to turn on the oscillation
This fan can swing left & right 80 degrees.
Press this button again to stop oscillating.
Press the “+” button on the remote control to increase the air volume.
Press the “-” button to decrease the air volume.
There are 9-speed settings.

Press the timer button on the remote control to set 1 to 8 hours. Press
the timer button on the remote control, the display shows: “0” to
cancel the timer.
After the timer function is set, other functions can be used normally.
When the device is turned off, the timing setting is also cancelled.
Remote control battery replacement
This remote control requires x1 CR2025 battery to operate.
1. Press the buckle on the battery cover inward and pull the battery slot out. Remove the
old battery.
2. Identify the battery polarity and insert a new battery onto the slot.
3.Place the battery slot back into the bottom of the remote control.
The remote control should be pointed at the remote-control signal receiver on the display to
maximize the remote-control signal.

Notes:
•If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery.
•This battery is not rechargeable.

Known troubleshooting issues:
1. This fan may respond to the remote control of other devices.
2. If you use the remote control of this fan, other devices may respond.
This is due to the overlapping frequencies of the remote control.
There is no quality problem in the product itself. To avoid misuse, keep the remote control
away from other electrical devices during operation

Host Operation
Installing on Wind Kreis
Set the wind outlet after fan has stopped.
Hold fan body with one hand and set the wind outlet 15° before and after.
Switch on and off
Connect the power supply, the LED display lights up and the machine goes into
standby mode.
Click the host's power button, the buzzer will beep once and the fan will start.
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds, the buzzer will beep twice and the fan
will stop running after you release your hand.
Set the air volume
When the host is operating: Click the button to adjust the air volume from 1 to 9.
Oscillation
When the host is operating, press and hold the screen touch button for 1 second. The
buzzer beep once and the fan starts to oscillate. Press and hold the screen touch button
again for 1 second. The buzzer beep once and the fan stops oscillating.

Install App
Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Register
If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a verification
code sent by SMS.
To register:
1. Tap to enter registration page.
2. The system automatically recognises your country/area. You can also select your
country code manually. Enter your email address and tap ‘Next.’
3. Alternatively, you can select ‘Register by mobile number’ and enter the verification
code sent to you by SMS.
4. Create a profile on the next page to define your location and room.

Set device in pairing mode
When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode (the touch
screen display will be flashing “F”).
If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in
pairing mode by pressing and holding the touch screen button for 5 seconds until you hear
three beeps and the touch screen display begins flashing “F”.
Add device through network
5. Once registered, tap “+” in the upper right corner of the app’s home page to add a
new device through the network.
6. Select the fan heater type from the list of options in the app (Heating & Cooling >
Fans).
7. Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the Wi-Fi light indicator flashing,
and tap “Confirm light is rapidly flashing”.

8. Upon successfully confirming pairing mode, enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important
that your SmarterHome™ device and the app are connected to the same Wi-Fi
network during setup.
9. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure your
Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close until
connection is complete.
10. After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and
assign it to a location. It will now be listed on the app’s home page. Tap the device
listing to enter its control page.
If you are unable to connect the fan heater after repeated attempts, try using the AP Mode
method to connect. See the following page for details.
Notes:
•The device and the app have to use the same Wi-Fi network.
•The device is only compatible with 2.4Ghz networks.

AP mode connection steps
Set device in pairing mode
To set the device for AP mode pairing, press and hold the touch screen button for an
additional 5 seconds until it beeps another three times. The touch screen display will flash
“F” slowly to confirm AP mode.
Using AP Mode to add device
5. Once registered, tap “+” in the upper right corner of the app’s home page to add a
new device through the network.
6. Select the fan heater type from the list of options in the app (Heating & Cooling >
Fans), and then select “Other Mode” from the top-right corner when asked to reset
the device.

7. Select “AP Mode” for the set-up type.
8. Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the Wi-Fi light indicator flashing
slowly, and tap “Confirm light is slowly flashing”.
9. Enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important that your SmarterHome™ device and the
app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.

10. Follow the in-app prompts to continue AP Mode connection, which will pair your
mobile phone to the device’s Wi-Fi hotspot to ensure a connection.
11. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure your
Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close until
connection is complete.
12. After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and
assign it to a location. It will now be listed on the app’s home page. Tap the device
listing to enter its control page.
Notes:
•The device and the app have to use the same Wi-Fi network.
•The device is only compatible with 2.4Ghz networks.
Note:
If the Wi-Fi hotspot does not appear on your phone in the list of available
networks, your device may not be set in AP Pairing Mode correctly. Try repeating
the steps outlined above to ensure your device is ready for connection.

Adding “SmarterHome” to the Google Home app
1. From the home page of the Google Home app, select the “+” icon to access the
‘Add and manage’ page.
2. Select ‘Set up device’, then under the Works with Google banner, select ‘Have
something already set up?’
3. Select the search bar and type ‘Smarter Home’ to locate the Kogan
SmarterHome™ service.

4. Tap ‘Authorise’ to grant Google permission to access the SmarterHome™ app and
your devices.
5. From here, you will be prompted to sign into your SmarterHome™ account using
either your email or mobile phone number, depending on which method you used
to register your account.

6. Once connected, the app will display any compatible devices linked to your
SmarterHome™ account. From here you can assign them to rooms and set up any
routines.
7. Tap on any of the devices to view a list of available commands.
Note:
Please note that Google Home can only control the base/core functions of any
compatible SmarterHome™ devices. To make full use of this product’s smart
functionality, please use the Kogan SmarterHome™ app.
