Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Kogan NON-contact Digital Infrared
Forehead Thermometer.
With the unique technology, the forehead thermometer can gi e an
accurate result ia non-contact, without the interference from
ambient temperatures. The product will self-test e ery time it starts
up to ensure normal operation and accuracy.
The forehead thermometer is suitable for people of all ages. It can
be used to measure the temperature of the body, and it can be
used to measure the temperature of milk as well.
Please read these instructions carefully before using the product,
and store a copy in a safe and secure place for reference.

1.The advantages of the Forehead Thermometer
Multiple uses are possible with the thermometer (measurement of
body temperature and milk temperature)
Forehead Thermometer pro ides measurement of body
temperature, which is from 32 to 42.2 (from 89.6 to 107.9 ) , ℃ ℃ ℉ ℉
and milk temperature, which is from 0 to 100.0 (from 32.0 to ℃ ℃ ℉
212.0 ).℉
The product is consists of ABS common plastics, TPR plastics,
temperature sensor, Infrared temperature measuring element,
microcomputer controlled circuit and LCD.

Fever warning
When the readings exceed 37.5 /99.5 , the product shall warn ℃ ℉
patients that he/she may ha e a fe er by se en rapid, short rings
and red backlit. (For normal body temperature, the signal are long
ring and green backlit)

2.Necessary safety instructions
●The thermometer shall ne er be used for purposes which it is not
originally designed for, and shall be used in compliance with the
general safety cautions when used by children.
●Thermometer is not waterproof. Please do not douse it in water or
other liquids. Cleaning and disinfection procedures shall comply
with the instructions specified in [cleaning and storage]
●The forehead thermometer shall be placed away from direct
sunlight, and stored in a dust-free and dry area with ambient
temperature between 5° ℃to 40 (℃41 to 104 )℉ ℉

●Please do not use the product if the temperature sensor or the
forehead thermometer show any sign of damage. Do not try to
repair the product if it is damaged. Please contact Kogan Customer
Ser ice team if you ha e any issues.
●The thermometer consists of high quality precision parts. Please
pre ent the product from falling off shel es or high surfaces. Protect
against intense shock and ibration. Do not twist the forehead
thermometer and the temperature sensor.
Warnings
●Please store the forehead thermometer out of children’s reach.
●Medical assistance can not be replaced by
the use of infrared forehead thermometer
●The forehead thermometer is not waterproof! Do
not douse into liquid.

4.How to measure the forehead temperature
The thermometer measures the infrared energy emitted from
forehead, which will focus through the lens and con ert to
temperature alues ia the thermopile and measuring circuit. It is
recommended that you press button (2) and scan the forehead from
one side to another at a distance from 1cm to 6cm, then release the
button with the maximum alue displayed. Fixed point
measurements may result in incorrect measurements.

5.How to measure the milk temperature
The thermometer measures the infrared energy emitted from the
feeding bottle, and it shall display the milk temperature by transition
calculation and emission rate compensation. Please use the press
button (3) for measuring.
In order to a oid inaccuracy:
●Please make sure that there is no dirt in on the temperature
sensor
●Please make sure that there is no intense emotion and mo ement
before measuring. There should be no water on the forehead.
●If the thermometer is transferred from one location to another
which has different ambient temperature, it is suggested to lea e
unit for 30 minutes to allow for temperature adjustment.
●Do not hold the thermometer for long time as it is highly sensiti e
to heat.
This thermometer has undergone thorough clinical tests, so it is
safe and accurate when using in accordance with operation
manual.
