Important Information
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. Metal surfaces are sharp and can cause severe cuts. Use
gloves and handle sink edges carefully.
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or product damage. Large sinks are very heavy. Get help
lifting the sink into place.
IMPORTANT! Your sink may appear different than the sink pictured throughout the installation steps.
For ease of installation, two people should perform this installation.
Due to the nature of undercounter installations, Kohler Co. recommends that undercounter sink
installations be performed by trained and experienced installers.
For sinks with drawer system: Order additional drawer hardware for the sink cabinet drawer
panels.
A 1-1/2″(3.8 cm) to 2″(5.1 cm) thick countertop is preferred for this installation.
Anchors should be preinstalled by the countertop manufacturer at the time of cutting. Use the
hardware provided by the countertop manufacturer and the mounting clips provided with your
sink.
The number of clips included with your sink may differ from the number of clips illustrated. Use all
clips included with the sink.
If possible, install the strainer to the sink prior to installing the sink.
Allow the sealant to cure following the sealant manufacturer’s instructions.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.

1. Prepare the Site
For ease of sink installation, remove the cabinet doors and the drawer panel that corresponds to the
sink drawer installation location.
Install the water supplies and drain piping according to the roughing-in information.
Install the countertop.

2. Install the Drawer Slides
The drawer slides can be installed to the sink prior to the sink installation in cabinets with specific front rail
and drawer opening dimensions. If your cabinet has dimensions other than those listed in the table above,
the drawer slides will be installed later in the ″Install the Drawer″section.
Measure the height of the front rail of the cabinet.
If the front rail height is not 11/16″(1.7 cm) or 1-1/2″(3.8 cm), proceed to the ″Install the Sink″
section.
Determine Slide Placement
If the front rail height is 11/16″(1.7 cm) and the drawer opening height is 5″(12.7 cm), then loosely
secure the drawer slide to slot 1.
If the front rail height is 1-1/2″(3.8 cm) and the drawer opening height is 5″(12.7 cm), then loosely
secure the drawer slide to slot 2.
Install the Slides
NOTE: Slides may need to be extended to allow access to the slide mounting holes.
Attach the slides to the bracket using the screws. Position the screws through the appropriate slot.
Loosely secure the slides to the brackets with the washers and nuts.
Close the slide assemblies. You may need to pull the screws to allow the slide assembly to close.
Refer to illustration 5in the ″Install the Drawer″section.
Measure height
of front rail. Measure height of the drawer opening.

3. Install the Sink
Using the hardware provided by the countertop manufacturer, loosely attach the mounting clips to
the underside of the countertop.
Turn all the mounting clips parallel to the countertop opening.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the top edge of the sink rim.
Maneuver the sink into the cabinet and lift into position.
Turn all the mounting clips to hold the sink in place.
Center the sink and secure by tightening all the mounting clips.
Loosely attach the
mounting clips.
Apply silicone sealant
to the sink rim.
Secure the sink.

4. Install the Drawer
If the slides are already installed, proceed to the ″Complete the Drawer Installation″section.
Insert the drawer assembly into the cabinet opening and hold in position.
Position the drawer so that it will clear the cabinet when opened. Note the slot that aligns with the
holes in the slide.
Remove the drawer from the opening.
Remove the slides from the drawer.
NOTE: Slides may need to be extended to allow access to the slide mounting holes.
Insert the screws through the slide and the appropriate slot in the brackets.
Loosely secure the slides to the brackets with the washers and nuts.
Close the slide assemblies. You may need to pull the screws to allow the slide assembly to close.
Note the slot and
hole alignment.

5. Complete the Drawer Installation
Types of Drawer Panels
Overlay Panels: Panels rest on the surface of the cabinet frame.
Inset Panels: Panel face sits flush with the front of the cabinet frame.
Install the Drawer
For overlay drawer panels: Position the slides flush with the cabinet face.
For inset drawer panels: Position the slides flush with the inside of the cabinet.
Securely tighten the nuts to secure the slides.
Reinstall the drawer onto the slides. Press firmly to fully seat the drawer back onto the slides.

6. Complete the Installation
If you are installing drawer pulls, install them to the drawer panels at this time.
Optional: Apply double-sided tape (not provided) to the drawer face to help hold the drawer panel
in position.
Loosely attach the drawer panel using a screw and the large washer through the center hole of the
drawer.
Adjust the drawer panel as needed and securely tighten the screw.
Secure the drawer panel with the additional four screws and small washers.
Install the faucet and strainers according to the instructions packed with the products.
Complete the faucet and drain connections.
Run water into the sink and check all connections for leaks.
Reinstall the cabinet doors.

l’évier avec précaution.

sont très lourds. Demander de l’aide pour soulever et mettre en place l’évier.
IMPORTANT ! L’évier actuel pourrait différer de celui illustré dans les étapes d’installation.
Pour une facilité d’installation, deux personnes devraient effectuer cette installation.
Vu la nature particulière des installations sous comptoir, Kohler Co. recommande que les
installations des éviers sous comptoir soient effectuées par des installateurs formés et expérimentés.
Pour des éviers à système de tiroir: Commander de la boulonnerie supplémentaire de tiroir pour
les panneaux du tiroir du meuble.
Un comptoir d’une épaisseur de 1-1/2″(3,8 cm) à 2″(5,1 cm) est préférable pour cette installation.
Des ancrages devraient être préalablement installés par le fabricant du comptoir au moment de la
découpe. Utiliser la boulonnerie fournie par le fabricant du comptoir et les clips de fixation fournis
avec l’évier.
Le nombre de clips inclus avec l’évier pourrait différer du nombre illustré. Utiliser tous les clips
inclus avec l’évier.
