Install the Toilet
1.Install thewaste outlet and water inlet as shown.
2.Putthebowlinposition,and using a pencil,markthe
position ofthebowlonthefloor,as shown. Markthe
positions for the tankattachment bolts on thewall.
Makesure that youavoid hidden cables and
pipes when drilling holes in thefloor or wall.

3.Removethebowl and place the installation template on
thefloor. Drill the anchor bolt hole (depth 38mm) in the
floor withan 15mm dia. drill,then removethetemplate.
Itissuggested to reverse thebowlbefore drilling withthe
template. Compare the actual loacation ofinstallation hole
withthetemplate to mapmore accurate installation
location,as showninthefollowing figure.

4.Adjust the distance between centerline of PVC waste pipe
and thefloor (wall)to matchit consistent withmarked
roughing-in.
Installation ofStrap: FixStraponto wall withexpansion
screwand insert into the reserved drainage pipe(Fig.7).
Pushthebowl to insert the drainage hole into theStrap
and also insert thewater pipe into theoutlet ofthein-wall
tank.

6.Install thethreaded rods through
the seat holes in thebowl. Tighten
bolts withhexwrench.Making sure
that theyinstall correctlyin the
holes in thefloor.
Itissuggested to use other auxillary
lightsuchas torchto eluminate one
preserved installation hole ofthe
toilet. Watchthemovement ofthe
threaded rod throughtheother
installation hole to better control the
installation process.

NOTE: Do not use white cement or
highlime content cements to install
this toilet. Theexpansion ofcement
due to a rise in temperature may
makethe toilet crackor cause
damage. Kohler is not responsible
for anydamage caused by
installation withtheuse ofcement.
Cleaning

Caution! Do not use in-tank cleaners.
Manycleaners
contain abrasive and chemical substances,and should
not beused for cleaning stainless steel,enamel,
plated or plastic fittings. These finishes should be
cleaned using a mild washing up detergent or soap
solution,rinsed and then wiped drywithasoft clean
cloth.
Most toilet bowl
cleaners are not harmfultothevitreouschina surface
ofthe toilet bowl. Please followthebowl cleaner
manufacturer,s instructions carefully.
Products
containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite)can
seriouslydamage fittings in the tank.This damage can
cause leakage and propertydamage.
CAUTION: Don t use any cement while installing
the toilet.
WARNING: Risk of product damage.
Heat expansion ofthe toilet maydamage
thefeet ofthe toilet. Kohler will not be responsible for
anydamage because ofusing cement.
Do not throwinto the toilet what is easyto blockit,
suchas newspaper,paper pilch, sanitarytowel.
Do not bump thevitreouschina withgreat force to
prevent it fromdamaging and leaking.
Do not use theproduct in thewater below0C.

product logo.
