Rough-In
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
 Carefully inspect the new toilet for damage.
 If the ush valve is not installed, refer to the manufacturer’s
instructions before installing.

with care. Vitreous china can break or chip if the bolts and nuts
are overtightened, or if the product is handled carelessly.

Install or relocate the supply and outlet as neccessary to conform to
the rough-in dimensions.
If replaceing a toilet, remove the old wax.
Assemble the trapway.

Position the template. Drill the mounting holes.
Position brackets as shown on
the template and install.
Insert the anchors.

Install the wax ring kit.
Insert the hose guide onto host.
Position the toilet to the wall.
Carefully lower over brackets.
Apply weight evenly.
Do not move after placement.
Watertight seal may be broken.
Thread the screw into the
bracket and put cap to cover
screw.

Connect supply hose and run
the water.
Remove the tape and protective
pad.
Press down on the
large button.

Replace the Seal

Insert the rod into the holes in
the push button housing.
Press down on the push buttons
until they click into place.
Flush several time and check
for leaks.
Turn here to adjust the water
level.
Install the tank lid and the seat.

Shut off the water supply. Remove the tank cover.

Note the position of the colored
buttons for reinstallation.
Squeeze the taps and pull
straight up on the canister.
Rotate the canister so that the
colored buttons are in their
original positions.
Reinstall the tank cover and
turn on the water supply.
Remove and replace the seal. Reinstall the canister so it
snaps in to place.

Troubleshooting Guide
A. Adjust tank (cistern) water level to match waterline.
B. Fully open water supply shut-o valve.
C. Clear obstruction in trapway, jet, or pan rim holes.
D. Clear obstruction in soil pipe or vent pipe.
A. Remove canister out and check mechanic system. If there
are some damaged parts, replace the new canister.
B. Adjust push rods to position properly on ush valve.
A. Clean or replace seal if seal is worn, dirty, or misaligned with
ush valve seat or ush valve seat is damaged.
Replace ush valve seal or ush valve.
B. Remove tank (cistern) and tighten ush valve nut
if ush valve gasket is leaking. Do not overtighten.
If leakage continues, replace gasket.
C. Clean ll valve seat / seat washer of debris, or replace
piston/seat washer assembly.
D. Replace ll valve if valve oat sinks.
E. Adjust tank (cistern) water level if too high.
A. Fully open water supply shut-o valve.
B. Clean ll valve inlet, valve head, or supply line. Flush lines.
A. Partially close water supply shut-o valve if water
pressure to toilet is too high. Check toilet performance
following any such adjustment.
B. Remove dirt or obstruction in valve head. Flush lines.

Care and Cleaning
WARNING: Risk of property or product damage. Do not use
in-tank cleaners in your toilet. Products containing chlorine
(calcium hypochlorite) can seriously damage ings in the tank.
This damage can cause leakage and property damage.
Kohler Co. shall not be responsible or liable for any tank ing damage
caused by the use of cleaners containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite).
For best results, keep the following in mind when caring for your KOHLER
product:
• Use a mild detergent such as liquid dishwashing soap and warm water
for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners that may scratch or dull the
surface.
• Carefully read the cleaner product label to ensure the cleaner is safe for
use on the material.
• Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before ap-
plying to the entire surface.
• Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak on the surface.
• Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately
aer cleaner application. Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on
nearby surfaces.
• Use a so, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material
such as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.
