Thethreenumbersrepresentthebasictruckmodel.
Theletter“M”,whenpresent,designatesaMechanicaldrivesystem;
Theletter“E”,whenpresent,designatesanElectricalwheelmotordrivesystem.
Theproductidenticationnumber(vehicleserialnumber)containsinformationwhichwillidentifytheoriginal
manufacturingbillofmaterialforthisunit.Thiscompletenumberwillbenecessaryforproperorderingofmany
servicepartsand/orwarrantyconsideration.
TheGVWiswhatdeterminestheloadonthedrivetrain,frame,tires,andothercomponents.Thevehicledesign
andapplicationguidelinesaresensitivetothetotalmaximumGVW.GVWisTOTALWEIGHT:theEmptyVehicle
Weight+thefuel&lubricants+thepayload.
Todetermineallowablepayload:Servicealllubricantsforproperlevelandllfueltankofemptytruck(which
includesallaccessories,bodyliners,tailgates,etc.)andthenweightruck.Recordthisvalueandsubtractfrom
theGVWrating.Theresultistheallowablepayload.
NOTE:Accumulationsofmud,frozenmaterial,etc.becomeapartoftheGVWandreducesallowablepayload.
TomaximizepayloadandtokeepfromexceedingtheGVWrating,theseaccumulationsshouldberemovedas
oftenaspractical.
Exceedingtheallowablepayloadwillreduceexpectedlifeoftruckcomponents.
•Unsafeuseofthismachinemaycauseseriousinjuryordeath.Operatorsandmaintenance
personnelmustreadandunderstandthismanualbeforeoperatingormaintainingthismachine.
