Packing materials of the product
Be sure to keep all packing materials used for shipping the
instrument (cardboard box, cushioning material, plastic
bags, etc.). This instrument is a precision measuring
instrument. When transporting the instrument to a service
facility for maintenance or for other reasons, be sure to use
the packing materials to minimize shock or vibration. If the
packing materials are lost or damaged, contact a KONICA
MINOLTA-authorized service facility.
Sample Holder Protective Cap
The instrument is shipped without the target mask
installed in the target mask mounting section.
Therefore a protective cap is installed in order to protect
the specimen measuring part (opening of the integrating
sphere).
Remove the protective cap before using the instrument.
Also be sure to install the protective cap when the instru-
ment is transported.
Store the protective cap carefully.

Safety Precautions
To ensure correct use of this instrument, read the following points carefully and adhere to them. After
you have read this manual, keep it in a safe place where it can be referred to anytime a question arises.
WARNING (Failure to adhere to the following points may result in
death or serious injury.)
Do not use the instrument in places where flammable or combustible gases
(gasoline, etc.) are present. Doing so may cause a fire.
Always use the AC adapter (AC-A312F) that was supplied as a standard accessory,
and connect it to a 100 V (50/60 Hz) AC outlet. If an AC adapter other than those
specified by KONICA MINOLTA is used, or if the adapter is connected to an unsup-
ported voltage, it may result in damage to the adapter, fire, or electric shock.
If the instrument will not be used for a long time, disconnect the AC adapter power plug
from the AC outlet. Accumulated dirt or water on the prongs of the AC adapter’s plug may
cause a fire. Clean off any dirt or water on the prongs of the AC adapter’s plug before use.
Do not insert or disconnect the AC adapter plug with wet hands. Doing so may
cause electric shock.
Do not disassemble or modify the instrument or the AC adapter. Doing so may
cause a fire or electric shock.
The instrument should not be operated if it or the AC adapter is damaged, or if smoke
or odd smells occur. Doing so may cause a fire. In such situations, turn the power OFF
immediately, disconnect the AC adapter plug from the AC outlet, remove the battery,
and contact the nearest KONICA MINOLTA-authorized service facility.
Do not allow liquid or metal objects to enter the instrument and the AC adapter.
Doing so may cause a fire or electric shock. Should liquid or metal objects enter
the instrument, turn the power OFF immediately, disconnect the AC adapter
power plug from the AC outlet, remove the battery, and contact the nearest
KONICA MINOLTA-authorized service facility.
Do not forcibly bend, twist, or pull the cords or cables. Also, do not scratch,
modify, or place heavy objects on the cables. Doing so may damage the cable
and cause a fire or electric shock.
Always grasp the power plug itself when disconnecting the power cable from an
outlet. Pulling on the power cable may damage it and cause a fire or electric shock.
Firmly push the AC adapter power plug completely into the outlet. Incomplete
insertion may cause a fire or electric shock.
Do not look directly at the lamp. The lamp is extremely bright and emits ultravio-
let rays. Looking directly at the light may injure the eyes.
CAUTION (Failure to adhere to the following points may result in injury or
damage to the instrument or other property.)
Do not place the instrument on an unstable or sloping surface. Doing so may
result in the instrument falling or overturning, causing injury. Be careful not to
drop the instrument when carrying it as well.
Take care not to pinch yourself in the parts of the instrument that open and close.
There is the risk of injury.
Do not use the instrument if the specimen measuring port (measurement area) is
in the line of sight. Doing so may result in injury to the eye.
When using the AC adapter, make sure that an AC outlet is located near the
instrument, and that the AC adapter plug can be connected to and disconnected
from the AC outlet easily.
When cleaning the instrument, unplug the AC adapter plug from the outlet. Failure to do so
may result in electric shock.

ご購入時の梱包材について
ご購⼊時の梱包材（段ボール箱、緩衝材、ポリ袋）は、
大切に保管してください。本器は精密測定器です。当社
でのメンテナンスを⾏うなどの輸送時には、衝撃や
振動を極⼒おさえるため、ご購⼊時の梱包材を使用して
ください。万⼀、梱包材を紛失したり、破損した場合は、
“サービスのご案内”に記載のお問い合わせ窓⼝まで
ご 連 絡ください 。
サンプルホルダー部の保護キャップについて
本器は、ターゲットマスク取り付け部にターゲットマスク
を装着せず出荷しています。このため、試料測定部（積分
球開⼝部）を保護するための保護キャップが取り付け
ら れ て い ま す 。本 器 を ご 使 用 に な る 前 に 、保 護 キ ャ ッ プ を
取り外してください。保護キャップは、本器輸送時に必ず
取り付けてください。保護キャップは、大切に保管してく
ださい。

引⽕性・可燃性蒸気（ガソリンなど）のあるところでは使用しないでください。

ACアダプターは必ず当社指定の標準付属品のACアダプター（AC-A312F）
を使用し、100 V （50/60 Hz）の屋内配線コンセントに接続してご使用く
ださい。 指定以外のものを用いたり、異なった電圧に接続すると本器やAC
アダプターの破損や⽕災・感電の原因となります。
本器を長時間使用しないときは、ACアダプターのプラグをコンセントから抜
いてください。ACアダプターのコンセントへの差し込み部分にほこりや水滴
がつき、⽕災の原因となります。ACアダプターのコンセントへの差し込み部
分にほこりや水滴が付いている場合は、清掃してご使用ください。
濡れた手でACアダプターのプラグを抜いたり差し込んだりしないでください。
感電の原因となります。
本器やACアダプターを分解したり改造したりしないでください。
⽕災や感電の原因となります。
万⼀、本器やACアダプターが破損したり、発煙や異臭が生じた場合は、その
まま使用しないでください。⽕災の原因となります。発煙・異臭、破損がある
場合はただちに電源を切り、ACアダプターのプラグをコンセントから抜き、
“サービスのご案内”に記載のお問い合わせ窓⼝にご連絡ください。
本器やACアダプターに液体をこぼしたり、金属類を⼊れないでください。
⽕災や感電の原因となります。万⼀、本器に液体をこぼしたり、金属類が⼊った
場合は、ただちに電源を切り、ACアダプターのプラグをコンセントから抜き、
“サービスのご案内”に記載のお問い合わせ窓⼝にご連絡ください。
コードやケーブル類を無 理に曲げたり、ねじったり、引っ張ったりしないでく
だ さ い 。ま た ケ ー ブ ル 類 に 、重 い 物 を 載 せ た り 、傷 つ け た り 、加 工 し た り し な い
でください。ケーブルが破損して⽕災や感電の原因となります。
電源コードを抜くときは、必ず電源プラグを持って抜いてください。電源コー
ドを引っ張ると電源コードが傷つき、⽕災や感電の原因となります。
ACアダプターのプラグは根元まで確実に差し込んでください。差し込みが
不完全ですと、⽕災や感電の原因となります。
直接ランプの光を見ないでください。ランプは輝度が高く、紫外線が出ており、目
に 障 害 を 起 こすことが あります。
注意 （取り扱いを誤ると、使用者が傷害を負う危険が想定される場合および
物理的損害のみの発生が想定される場合）
ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところなど不安定な場所に置かないでください。
落ちたり、転倒したりするとけがの原 因となることがあります。
また、持ち運ぶときは落とさないように注意してください。
本器の開閉部分に手を挟まないように注意してください。

試料面開⼝部（測定部）を目に向けた状態で使用しないでください。
目に対する傷害の原因となることがあります。
ACアダプターを使用する場合、機器の近くにコンセントがあり、かつ
ACアダプターのプラグを容易に抜き差しできるようにしてください。
お手 ⼊れの際にはACアダプターのプラグをコンセントから抜いてください。
感電の原因となることがあります。
