This KOO ATRON product is warranted to the retail
customer for 90 days from date of retail purchase,
against defects in material and workmanship.
WHAT IS COVERED
• Replacement parts and labour.
• Transportation charges to customer for the repaired
product.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
• Damage caused by abuse, accident, misuse, or
neglect.
• Transportation of the unit or component from the
customer to Koolatron.
IMP IED WARRANTIES
Any implied warranties, including the implied warranty
of merchantability are also limited to the duration of
90 days from the date of retail purchase.

PRODUIT
Cette unité thermoélectrique est conçue pour être un récipient d'entreposage portatif pour les boissons
froides et nourriture froide en mode "CO D". 'unité peut refroidir approximativement à 22°C / 40°F
au-dessous de la température ambiante. Dans le mode "HEAT" elle peut stocker la nourriture et les
boissons précuites chaudes. 'unité chauffera approximativement à 57°C / 135°F. 'unité est actionnée
par un système de C.C. de 12 volts tel qu'un véhicule, ou peut être actionnée à partir d'un système à
C.A. de maison avec l'utilisation d'un adaptateur approuvé de puissance d'AC/DC.
MODE DE SÉLECTION
FROID - Glisser l'interrupteur à la position "CO D" (froid), l'appareil refroidira, et un voyant lumineux vert
s'allumera.
CHAUD - Glisser l'interrupteur à la position "HOT" (chaud), l'appareil réchauffera, et un voyant lumineux
rouge s'allumera.
ARRÊT - Glisser l'interrupteur à la position "OFF" (arrêt), l'appareil s'arrêtera
ENTRETIEN
• S'assurer que les fils et l'orifice de l'allume-cigarettes soient toujours propres. Des particules de tabac
ou des saletés dans l'orifice ou sur la prise peuvent affecter la performance de l'appareil.
• e moteur, le ventilateur et les fentes du panneau de commande doivent être nettoyés périodiquement.

nettoyants puissants ou abrasifs. Une solution savonneuse devrait suffire mais si les odeurs persistent,
ajouter un javellisant domestique ou du bicarbonate de soude à la solution de lavage. aisser le
couvercle ouvert pendant plusieurs heures après le nettoyage pour permettre que l'intérieur sèche
bien et pour éviter des odeurs dans la glacière.
• Pour le rangement à long terme, placer un petit contenant rempli de bicarbonate de soude ou de
charbon à l'intérieur afin d'absorber les odeurs désagréables..
AVIS IMPORTANT
• Éteindre l'appareil et attendre au moins cinq (5) minutes, si on passe du mode de refroidissement au
mode de réchauffement, ou vice versa.

brûlures.

arrêté.
• S'assurer que le ventilateur peut tourner en tout temps.
• 'appareil n'est pas conçu pour réchauffer des aliments froids.
• e cordon d’alimentation peut avoir un fusible installé dans la prise. S’il y a lieu, remplacez le fusible
avec un du même ampère (A) seulement.
FEATURES
This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold drinks and cold food in
"CO D" mode. The unit can chill to approximately 40°F/22°C below ambient temperature. In "HEAT"
mode it can store hot pre-cooked food and drinks. The unit will heat to approximately 135°F/ 57°C.
The unit is powered by a 12 Volt DC system such as a vehicle, or can be powered from a house AC
system with the use of an approved AC/DC power adapter.
MODE SELECTION
CO D - Move the sliding switch to "CO D", the unit will cool and a green light will be on.
HOT - Move the sliding switch to "HOT", the unit will warm and a red light will be on.
OFF - Move the sliding switch to "OFF", the unit will be off.
MAINTENANCE
• Keep cords and cigarette lighter sockets clean at all times. Small tobacco or dirt particles in the socket
or the plug may affect performance.
• The motor, fan and control panel vents should be cleaned periodically.While the unit is unplugged,
clean the fan blades and motor shaft using a paint brush or other soft bristled brush. Remove all hair,
dirt, or dust that may have accumulated.
• To clean, wipe the inside with a warm damp cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
A mild soap should be sufficient, but if stains or odours remain, household bleach or baking soda
may be added to the washing solution. Keep the lid open for several hours after cleaning to allow
the interior to thoroughly dry and to prevent odours from forming in the cooler.
• For long periods of storage, a small container of baking soda or charcoal, placed inside, will eliminate
objectionable odours.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Turn unit OFF and wait at least 5 minutes when changing between heating and cooling modes.
• When heating, the aluminum lining is hot. DO NOT TOUCH INING - burn hazard.
• When using in the car, there will be a drain on the car battery if the engine is off.
• Ensure the fan is able to rotate at all times.
• The unit is not designed for heating cold foods.
• The power cord may have a fuse installed in the plug. If required replace the fuse with one of the
same amp rating (A) only.
